Chapter 594 Bustle and Loneliness
"Abella, I got this private cruise ship just for you," Steven said.
The ship had a huge helipad, hundreds of guest rooms, a cinema for over a hundred people, two pools, a massive garage, and more.
The interior was super luxurious, worth $200 million.
"Thanks, Steven." Abella accepted, feeling it was a bit too much.
"Abella, this is from my wife and me," Ethan said, handing her a gift box with a warm smile.
Inside was the ownership certificate for a private jet, with Abella's name on it.
"All the paperwork, like registration, airworthiness certificate, radio license, insurance, is done," Ethan said gently. "My wife designed the interior; you'll love it."
"Thank you, Ethan and Camila."
"I wanted to give you a cruise ship, but it seemed too big, so I got you a custom yacht with a missile defense system, armored protection, and a laser system to keep paparazzi away. All the rooms have bulletproof glass, so it's super safe," Winston said, knowing Abella's situation.
The yacht was smaller but just as pricey, with fuel costs alone at $20,000 per hour.
He whispered, "Nicole helped with this too."
"Thank you."
Since Nicole's identity was still a secret, Abella didn't thank her directly.
"Abella, my gift might seem simple," Blake said, handing over a box. "But it's my most prized possession."
Inside were three car keys and their certificates.
One was a Hennessey Venom GT, one of only ten in the world, worth $14 million.
Another was an SSC Tuatara, worth $10 million.
The third was a custom Aston Martin, also worth $10 million.
Blake added, "These are my favorites; I haven't even driven them."
He treasured them but thought Abella would look cooler driving them.
"Thanks, Blake."
"If you like them, I'll get you more," Blake said, putting his arm around Abella's shoulder, but the other brothers quickly swatted his hand away. "Hands off."
Suddenly, the night sky lit up with fireworks.
"Abella, look!"
The fireworks were customized by her brothers, with messages like:
[Welcome home.]
[Merry Christmas Eve.]
[Merry Christmas.]
[Abella, be happy.]
[Stay healthy and safe.]
The simple words touched Abella deeply.
Since she loved cosmos flowers, many fireworks formed cosmos flower patterns.
There was also an image of a girl in a sea of cosmos flowers.
Watching the grand display, many servants were in awe. Abella was truly lucky to have such a caring family.
At the end of the fireworks, there was a scene with five brothers and one sister: one brother holding an umbrella for her, one kneeling to tie her shoelaces, one making her laugh, one handing her flowers, and another holding a sword as if protecting her.
This image quickly faded, but Abella's heart was deeply moved.
"Thank you, Steven, Ethan, Winston, Blake," Abella said, adding, "And Dennis."
"Why thank him? We just added him to make up the numbers," Blake joked, making Abella laugh.
"Alright, everyone, let's go inside and eat," James said with a smile. "The wine tonight was picked by Abella."
"Really? Then I'll drink it all; don't any of you try to take it from me," Blake declared.
"Can you even handle that much?" Steven chuckled. "Don't get drunk and scare Abella."
"Steven, why are you badmouthing me in front of Abella?"
Everyone laughed and chatted as they walked inside.
Seeing them argue, Abella quietly moved to Winston's side and whispered, "Winston, what about Nicole while you're here?"
Winston replied, "I've got trusted people watching over her. They'll call if anything happens. Don't worry, I'll head back right after dinner."
Abella added, "But the time difference is 12 hours ahead over there."
By the time he got back, Christmas Eve would be over.
"I already spent Christmas Eve with her before I came." Winston ruffled Abella's hair. "With the time difference, I'll make it back just in time for Christmas."
He wouldn't miss either.
"But you're running back and forth."
"Spending time with both you and Nicole makes me happy; I don't feel tired at all." Winston smiled, knowing what she was thinking. "But what about Phillipe? Didn't he come to see you?"
"I was wondering where Abella went; turns out she's with you." Blake suddenly squeezed between them, separating them. "What were you two talking about?"
"Nothing," Winston and Abella said in unison.
Blake was momentarily stunned, thinking they must have planned it.
The dining table was filled with Christmas-themed dishes, each with a festive touch.
Everyone sat down to eat, clinking their glasses, feeling warm and happy.
Not far from the estate, Phillipe leaned against his car, surrounded by white trees and snow, looking like a painting.
The driver opened an umbrella over his head, not knowing who Phillipe was waiting for.
Phillipe had just watched the grand fireworks display and knew Abella was happy with her family, so he didn't message her and waited quietly.
"Mr. Bourbon, did you have an appointment with a business partner? Should we wait in the car?"
It was freezing outside!
The driver, dressed warmly, was shivering.
Phillipe looked at the brightly lit villa in the distance and said softly, "It's okay, you go ahead."
He wanted to watch a little longer, to wait a bit more.
Abella had promised to spend some time with him today, even if just for a little while.
