Chapter 1089 Expelled from the Manor

"Even if Mr. Hall's okay with it and lets you in, I won't serve you anymore!" Celestia snapped.

"You've let us down too many times."

Several servants chimed in, condemning her.

Tears streamed down Lola's face. She hadn't realized how much Henry had done for her behind the scenes.

Back when she was locked in the Medici family's basement, starved, dehydrated, and beaten to a pulp, Henry had managed to find someone to save her.

At the time, she thought there were plenty of renowned doctors who could save her, so she didn't take it to heart.

She never imagined that Henry had to make deals and endure humiliation to save her time and time again.

"Mr. Hall loves you so much, yet you wouldn't even give him the phone."

"Actually, Ms. Medici is already here, inside, trying to save Mrs. Hall. Mr. Hall just wanted to test you one last time, but you let everyone down!"

Lola was completely stunned, her tears frozen in her eyes.

How could Abella be here?

That wretched woman would rather save Whitney and Melanie but refuse to save her!

At that moment, the door to the operating room opened, and everyone rushed over.

"How's my mom?" Henry asked first, his voice filled with concern.

The other servants also hurriedly asked, "How's Mrs. Hall?"

"She's fine now," Abella said simply, instantly relieving everyone, who broke into smiles.

Henry looked at her gratefully. "Thank you, Abella."

Besides thanking her, he didn't know what else to say to express his feelings at that moment.

"Oh, and Ms. Hall," One of the anxious servants said, "the nurse just brought a critical condition notice, saying Ms. Hall won't last two hours."

"Which floor?" Abella asked calmly.

"The twelfth floor. I'll take you there!" Cecil offered, leading the way.

Abella nodded and followed him.

Henry had many things he wanted to say to Abella, but given the urgency, he decided to let her save the patient first.

The other servants were overjoyed to see the nurse pushing out the stretcher.

"Mrs. Hall is out."

"It must be Mr. Hall's effort that moved God."

"I think it's because the bad luck left, and Mrs. Hall got better."

"Don't say that. It's all thanks to Ms. Medici."

Several servants followed the stretcher, and Henry looked at his mother on the bed, suddenly feeling he had made the right decision.

Thankfully, God gave him a chance to make amends.

Lola had left at some point, and there was no sign of her in the hallway.

She took a cab back to the estate alone.

As soon as she arrived at the gate, she noticed the large stone engraved with "Muse Manor" had been removed.

The security guard at the gate didn't open the door for her as usual, but instead handed her an agreement. "Ms. Flores, please sign here."

"What is this?" Lola asked the guard, who was no longer as friendly as before and didn't even bother to answer her, acting strictly business-like.

Lola looked at the agreement, which stated that the estate was to be transferred back to Henry, and she needed to sign it.

"He's in such a hurry?" Lola said sarcastically, uncapping the pen and signing the agreement before tossing it back to the guard and attempting to enter.

"Sorry, Ms. Flores, the estate is now under Mr. Hall's name. You can't go in," The guard said, blocking her path.

Lola's anger flared. "So, I can't live here anymore?"

"That's correct."

"I haven't taken my things."

"Here's your ID," The guard handed her a driver's license. "Besides this, everything inside was bought by Mr. Hall and has nothing to do with you."

"I have a phone inside," Lola said, trying to push past.

Suddenly, a dozen guards emerged, blocking her path.

"Sorry, besides this ID, you can't take anything else," The guard at the gate said, his face expressionless.

"The phone inside is the only keepsake from my dad! Are you going to take that too? Isn't this considered stealing someone else's property?" Lola was furious but knew forcing her way in wouldn't work. These people clearly didn't see her as Henry's fiancée anymore.

Yesterday, she was the center of attention, but today, she had fallen to rock bottom, feeling a mix of emotions.

"That phone is very important to me." Lola tried reasoning with them at the gate, but the guards seemed like robots, not even responding, just standing there expressionlessly.

Finally, Lola realized reasoning with them was futile and decided to call Henry.

To her shock, Henry had already blocked her!

She couldn't believe it and tried calling several more times, only to realize, stunned, that it was true.

Unwilling to give up, she asked the guard to call Henry.

The guard, annoyed by her persistence, finally called Henry in front of her. To her surprise, he answered quickly.

After the guard reported the situation, he hung up and relayed Henry's message to Lola, "Besides your ID, you can't take anything else."

"Not even the phone?"

"We didn't find a phone," The guard said directly. "Mr. Hall has already had everything related to you donated or burned."

Lola had seen smoke rising from the estate earlier; they were burning her belongings.

She knew staying and arguing wouldn't help. Fortunately, she had hidden the phone well, and Henry might not find it.

As long as they didn't find it soon, she had a plan!

With that thought, she turned and left.

Meanwhile, after saving Melanie, Abella was stopped by Henry.

"Abella, thank you so much. I know it sounds cliché, but I sincerely and gratefully thank you. I'm truly grateful."

Abella nodded and was about to leave.

"I've already separated from Lola. Once my mom and sister wake up, I'll make sure they see the news about the breakup."

Hearing this, Abella raised her eyes slightly. "Congratulations on escaping the misery."

Henry gave a bitter smile. "I was too naive before. The Medicis couldn't warm her heart in eighteen years, and I thought I could."

"You're no longer on my blacklist. If you have any issues in the future, just call me." Abella left after saying this.

Henry was surprised by Abella's words. He felt touched and realized how blind he had been before. Abella was so good, yet he had thought Lola was innocent and pitiful.
