Chapter 352 Big Brother Arrives

Dean's office.

Mrs. Allen, who had rushed over upon hearing the news, pointed at Abella, fuming, "You... how dare you."

Lucine had just been taken to the school clinic, where the doctor declared she was completely unharmed, not even slightly injured.

"Mom, it must have been Abella bribing the school doctor. He did not tell the truth! You cannot let Abella get away with this; I threw up blood just now, and my friends all saw it!"

Her friends nodded eagerly.

"Auntie, Abella did hit someone."

"We were just about to go down the hill to buy some drinks, but Abella and her friends deliberately blocked our way and wouldn't let us pass."

"I had even warned them before she lashed out that Lucine is part of the Allen family, but she hit Lucine the hardest, showing that she didn't take the Allen family seriously at all!"

Hearing this, Mrs. Allen's anger flared as she turned to the Dean, "So this is the kind of students your school produces!"

"Mrs. Allen, please calm down. Let me first understand what happened," the Dean, sweating profusely and nervous, looked at Clare and was no less frightened, "Clare, you are surely innocent, this has nothing to do with you. Please step outside for now."

"Hold on!" Mrs. Allen's sharp gaze landed on Clare, "Why does she get to leave?"

She had heard from her daughter that there were four bullies involved, and Clare was one of them.

The Dean spoke softly, bowing slightly, "She is Miss Fischers."

"The Fischers Group?"

A hint of apprehension surfaced in Mrs. Allen's heart; that was a top-tier financial conglomerate.

Their influence wasn't just formidable in New York but across the entire country.

It was said that the Fischers family treasured a princess, deeply cherished and held dear by everyone in the household.

Could she be the one right before her eyes?

"Oh, it turns out to be Clare, I didn't recognize you just now." Mrs. Allen's demeanor softened slightly, "Please go ahead, this matter no longer concerns you. When you have time, please send my regards to your parents."

Abella, Joanna, and Josie were all shocked. Did she just change her tone way too fast?

"To my knowledge, Mrs. Allen is not familiar with my parents," Clare stated bluntly, laying bare the truth. Mrs. Allen's complexion turned sour. True to being a young lady, her speech was unrestrained! "There's no need for an unnecessary greeting."

Hearing Clare speak in such a manner shifted Mrs. Allen's expression from cordial to something less so, "Are you intending to disregard the relationship between our families? I have heard about the military training evaluation where you didn't hesitate to bully my daughter, even going as far as pushing her into the lake as a lesson. I believe that Mrs. Fischers is a reasonable person, and she surely wouldn't condone such unruly behavior from the younger generation if she heard about this."

"Yes, my mother always taught me to reason well with others, unless it's with a brute. in that case, she certainly taught me to show no mercy."

"You!" Mrs. Allen gripped the armrest of the sofa, visibly angered.

"Both of you, what we need to address now is the matter of student Abella's bullying." The department head, not wanting to offend either side, decided to take action against Abella and her cohort, "Explain yourselves; what exactly happened?"

Meanwhile, Ethan and his entourage were making their way to the department head's office.

"Minister, should we really interfere with this trivial matter?"

The minister had been using binoculars to spot his sister when he saw several girls surrounding four others. Those four students were staggering, with one even collapsing, and another leaning against a tree, looking very uncomfortable.

Upon closer inspection, Ethan recognized the girl leaning against the tree as the doctor who had saved patient 7731 at the hospital the previous night.

That figure, that face; it was identical. There was no mistaking it. It seemed as though they had been set up, drugged, and the three girls with her were also in disarray.

Worried for their safety, Ethan put down his binoculars and decided to go have a look, only to find they were too late; there was only a puddle of blood on the grass, and the people were gone.

Only after inquiring did he learn that some girls had been beaten until vomiting blood and had been taken to the school infirmary for treatment.

He rushed to the infirmary, only to be told that the girl had gone to the department head's office. So now, they were on their way to the department head's office.

During the journey, all Ethan could think about was whether the girl who had been beaten to the point of vomiting blood was the same doctor who had helped 7731 last night. If it was her, he was determined to lend a hand.

"Minister, as members of the security department, it's inconvenient for us to reveal our identity."

"What identity do you plan on using to speak up for her if the young lady is indeed in trouble?"

"With the principal not present today and nobody in the school recognizing us, it's unlikely we'll be given any respect."

"The identity of a witness should be sufficient."

Ethan had just arrived at the door of the department head's office when he heard a girl's voice from inside.

"Director, Lucine drugged our water, and she admitted it herself!"

The department head glared at Josie, "Do you have evidence?"

"Yes!" Josie presented the video on her mobile phone to the department head.

After watching the video, the department head's expression darkened. He swiftly pocketed Josie's cell phone and said, "Regardless, you made someone vomit blood. Mrs. Allen isn’t asking for compensation, just an apology."

"Department head!" Josie felt wronged. "If we hadn't realized that there was something wrong with the water in the bottle, who knows what would have happened once we drank it? It's obvious Lucine was waiting to catch us off guard and beat us."

"Josie, don’t think so poorly of everyone."

Josie opened her mouth to speak but suddenly realized it was futile; it was clear the department head was biased towards Lucine.

"It was she who drugged our water; if anyone should apologize first, it's her." Abella’s voice rose, cool and indifferent.

The department head frowned, his displeasure evident as he regarded the girl who exuded a chill aura.

"Had you not kicked someone until they vomited blood, would Mrs. Allen have come here? You still have the gall to demand an apology! You refuse to apologize? Fine, each of you will be given a major demerit! Write a ten-thousand-word reflection paper! Compensate the medical expenses! Have your parents come and apologize!"

"Director, how can you be like this?" Joanna felt it was too unjust.

"We are not satisfied with this outcome, please return my phone" Josie extended her hands, expecting the department head to hand it back.

"What, you want the video to complain to higher-ups? For someone so young, you sure are scheming!" he retorted.

Josie was speechless. That was her phone. What was wrong with wanting it back!

"If you don't follow my orders, none of you can expect to stay in this school!" The department head turned his back, his face cold.

Mrs. Allen was still softly comforting her daughter.

"Is this how an educator handles situations?" A sharp voice came from the doorway.

Everyone looked toward the voice and saw a figure with an upright and just presence stepping in.
