Chapter 487 Not a Single Good Person

Rodolfo Wilson chuckled over the phone. "Alright, you take care of your business and try Chapterto come back early. It's not as safe out there as it is back home..."

Back home, Abella had her own power, the influence of her grandfathers, and Phillipe's protection to ensure her safety.

But outside, it was a different story.

Abella smiled slightly. "Okay, I understand."

After hanging up, Abella saw two messages from Sam on WhatsApp.

Sam: [Ms. Medici, those four people in Valleydale are refusing to eat or drink. They're trying to kill themselves at every opportunity. If it weren't for your life-sustaining injections, they'd be dead by now.]

Sam: [We've tried everything, but they just won't talk. What should we do?]

They had beaten them, tortured them, but to no avail. The captives were stubborn and refused to divulge any information.

Abella's slender fingers typed a reply.

Abella: [Haven't they already given us a clue? Those small, obscure organizations would have spilled everything they knew under such torture.]

Abella: [For someone to prefer death over revealing a single word, to keep the organization's secrets so tightly, there are only about a dozen such groups worldwide.]

Sam: [Yeah, I can start investigating those dozen organizations. Maybe we'll find a lead.]

Abella: [Get me results on the other things I asked you to check as soon as possible.]

Abella didn't want to waste any time.

Sam: [Yes, Ms. Medici! I'll hurry.]

After replying to the messages, Abella looked up at Winston. "Winston, come outside for a moment."

Winston was still gently consoling Nicole's parents.
Hearing Abella, he got up and stepped outside.

"Phillipe just called me. He said someone saw Nicole in Triangle City a month ago."

"What did you say?" Winston grabbed Abella's shoulders in excitement. "Are you sure? Could they have been mistaken?"

"Phillipe's information is usually reliable."

Winston was overjoyed. "Then what are we waiting for? Once Nicole's parents are on the plane, let's head to Triangle City."

"Don't alert anyone just yet," Abella said calmly, "I've already agreed to meet Phillipe there tomorrow."

"We can go tonight."

It would take about ten hours to fly there, so they would arrive by tomorrow.

Winston couldn't contain his anxiety and was also worried. "That place is notorious for being lawless. If Nicole is there, she's definitely in danger. I don't know who she's with or if she's alone. Abella, you don't understand; the people there are all bad news!"

He was extremely concerned for Nicole's safety.

Abella said, "Winston, are you talking about me? Am I not a good person?"

"There's not a single good person there!" Winston said worriedly, "Shouldn't we go now?"

"You still need to escort Nicole's parents to the plane. And I need to get in touch with that old gentleman, Terry, whom Nicole's parents mentioned. I might even need to visit him. Just be patient; a few more hours won't make a difference."

But Winston was still impatient, wanting to find Nicole as soon as possible.

However, thinking about the dangers of Triangle City, Winston said, "I'll fly there tonight by myself. I'll meet Phillipe there directly tomorrow. You shouldn't get involved; Triangle City is too chaotic, and I don't want you to be in danger."

"Are you sure the one in danger is me?" Abella couldn't help but laugh. "Alright, I'll call Terry first. You go back and keep Nicole's parents company; they need comfort and reassurance right now."

Abella made several calls to Terry, but he didn't answer. She decided to visit him in person.

Having her subordinates deliver the money directly seemed a bit disrespectful. She checked the address; it was only a 20-minute drive away. Delivering it personally would also fulfill Diana's wish.

On the way, driven by Joe, she suddenly saw someone standing by the roadside calling for help.

A bus had collided with a luxury car. The young woman from the car, who looked just over twenty, was standing by the road, shouting for help.

She was asking if any passing vehicles could help take the elderly person in the car to the hospital. The collision had caused the elderly person's heart condition to flare up, and she was struggling to breathe. Their car wouldn't start, seemingly broken.

Passersby only suggested calling an ambulance.
Some stopped to watch, but no one actually stepped forward to help.

Due to the traffic jam, many cars were moving slowly.

The young woman was so anxious she was almost in tears. She was considering taking turns with the driver to carry the elderly person to the hospital.

Seeing that she was an American, Abella asked Joe to stop the car and went to check.

"Do you need help?"

The young woman was overjoyed and quickly asked, "Are you a doctor? Do you know medicine? My grandma was on her way to a hospital check-up when the bus hit our car. She has trouble moving and says she can't breathe. We're terrified."

Abella approached the car and saw the elderly woman in the back seat, her face flushed from lack of breath.

Abella said, "Open the car doors, windows, and sunroof to let in more fresh air."

After saying this, Abella took out a medical kit from her bag and quickly started treating the elderly woman.

The driver couldn't help but worry and asked the young woman, "Are you sure about letting her treat your grandma? What if something goes wrong?"

Hearing their conversation, Abella said calmly, "It's too late to get her to a hospital. She'll be gone in less than three minutes. Trust me, I know what I'm doing."

Since they were all Americans, and seeing the calmness in Abella's eyes, the young woman believed her. She even reassured the driver. "Let her try. She carries a medical kit with her, so she must know what she's doing."

Who carried a medical kit around for no reason?

Unless they were in the profession.

She trusted American acupuncture.

After a while, the elderly woman started to breathe more easily and could open her eyes slightly.

Due to the lack of oxygen, she felt dizzy and had a headache.

In her daze, she saw a beautiful girl treating her, who strangely resembled her daughter.

'It must be a hallucination,' the elderly woman thought.

After finishing the treatment, Abella said, "Your grandma is very weak. You need to be extra careful. Also, the medications she's currently taking aren't helping her condition.
I suggest switching to other medications. Otherwise, they'll only add to her physical burden, making her feel tired, drowsy, and suffer from chest tightness and a bitter taste in her mouth."

The young woman was stunned, not expecting Abella to describe all of the elderly woman's symptoms accurately.
