Chapter 962 My Crush Is Coming Tonight

"It's called Down Royale, right? I'll help you find it," Dennis said, pulling out his phone after getting clear details about the specific down and its characteristics from his sister.

"Once we locate this down, can you immediately make the garment and deliver it?" Dennis asked casually after ending his call.

"We'll need our team to hand-select only the finest plumes, but since our group already possesses cutting-edge water-repellent technology, antimicrobial treatments, thermal retention systems, and dust mite protection, we can create the finished product as soon as the premium down arrives and we've curated the best quality," Abella explained.

Dennis hadn't realized the extraordinary effort and craftsmanship his sister invested in a single garment—no wonder her creations were simultaneously elegant, comfortable, and functional. Yet seeing her dedication made his heart ache; she was working herself too hard.

"The outer shell fabric engineered from advanced mineral-based fibers sourced from deep within the mountains—windproof, waterproof, and wrinkle-resistant while remaining lightweight and insulating. We'll customize the color to achieve a lustrous pearl-white finish, as that shade complements the client perfectly."

"Since we have abundant supplies of this fabric, and if we source plenty of the Down Royale, I could craft you a couple of jackets as well. They'd be incredibly comfortable—do you have any color preferences?" Abella looked up at Dennis expectantly.

Whatever he desired, her design team could create the exact shade he envisioned.

Dennis was deeply moved that his sister's first thought wasn't for herself, but for him, despite having access to such exceptional materials.

"Any color would be perfect, but I already have plenty of outerwear. You should make extras for yourself instead."

With such premium fabrics and materials available, he wanted her to keep them for her own use.

Abella smiled serenely. "You don't realize—when I first returned home, Mom and Dad commissioned a hundred garments for me. Shortly after, Phillipe ordered another hundred, covering every season and style. Then they purchased countless additional pieces... I already have more than I could wear in three to five years."

Abella sketched two men's down jackets on paper—one long, one short.

"I'll create one in classic black for you, and another in sophisticated color-blocking—not garish rainbow patterns, but something like this." She finished the designs and added color, showing Dennis the results.

Dennis was astounded that his sister could produce such striking, handsome designs in mere minutes. As QY's founder, her fashion sense, speed, and talent would command attention throughout the entire industry.

He desperately wanted the jackets yet couldn't bear the thought of her exhausting herself for his sake.

"Is there anything you'd change? The style? The colors?" Abella asked gently, genuinely awaiting his feedback.

"Nothing," Dennis replied, his voice filled with admiration and wonder as he studied the sketched men's jackets. "They're flawless—both the designs and colors are absolutely perfect. I can hardly wait to see the finished pieces."

"Then we'll proceed with these two styles. Once the materials arrive, production will be swift," Abella smiled. "But don't pressure yourself, Dennis. If you can't locate the Down Royale, I can substitute other premium down instead."

Though alternatives wouldn't match Down Royale's exceptional quality, she understood that some things were simply impossible to find. She didn't want Dennis undertaking a needle-in-a-haystack search.

"Let me add some details here—there's a chair over there if you'd like to sit," Abella said, struck by sudden inspiration. She continued sketching with focused precision, her concentrated expression particularly captivating.

Dennis pulled up a chair across from her, marveling that he could have such an extraordinary sister in this lifetime—infinitely better than that pretentious Lola from before. Yet he had bullied this sweet girl and even considered abandoning her at Hound Mountain. How could he have been so blind, so utterly despicable, when she was this adorable, thoughtful, and gentle?

"Oh, I forgot to ask—what did you need to see me about?" Abella inquired, looking up after completing her work.

Dennis explained, "The staff just delivered that jacket to me, but I can't keep accepting your gifts without reciprocation. Take this card—consider it a deposit for all the future items I'll be receiving from you."

He intended never to reclaim it, regardless of how the funds were spent or where—this was his homecoming gift to his sister.

Abella glanced at the exclusive card in front of her, instantly realizing it held at least fifty billion—the minimum balance required for such a premium account.

"They're just a few garments, Dennis. There's no need for such formality," Abella said, pushing the card back toward him.

"Keep it!" Dennis placed it firmly on her sketching paper. "I have other cards—don't worry about my finances!"

He then pushed forward additional items from his safe.

"These are pieces I acquired at various auctions—part of my private collection. I want you to have them all."

Abella examined the treasures: paintings, priceless rhinoceros horn artifacts, ivory sculptures, aromatic sandalwood art pieces, and other invaluable objects.

"I'm frequently in Britonia and can't properly safeguard these treasures. Entrusting them to you gives me peace of mind," Dennis offered, thinking his excuse was perfectly reasonable.

But Abella responded earnestly, "Dennis, these items are far too valuable. I cannot accept them."

She had already received fifty million from him and had no intention of accepting anything more.

But Dennis insisted, "You've accepted gifts from our other brothers but not from me—that would break my heart."

When Abella hesitated, he continued, "I genuinely want to give these to you. Accepting them would make me truly happy—don't you want me to be happy?"

He added, "I only have one sister. If not you, then who?"

Abella smiled warmly. "Once you have your girlfriend, you can spoil her instead."

"I don't even know when I'll win over her..." Dennis blurted out, then glanced at Abella somewhat sheepishly, realizing what he'd revealed.

Abella's smile deepened. "Saskia is visiting me tonight."

"Really?" Dennis's eyes lit up immediately.

"With Christmas approaching, she's returned home and mentioned stopping by this evening. She'll also attend my identity announcement." Abella regarded Dennis with amused interest. "You're fond of her?"

"No... of course not..." Dennis stammered, then realized his dream girl would be arriving that very evening. "Actually, I just remembered some urgent business I need to handle. I should go... but you must keep those gifts! Don't even think about returning them, or I'll be seriously upset!"

Dennis departed hastily, leaving Abella chuckling softly. Without question, he was rushing off to shave, shower, and perfect his appearance for the evening.
