Chapter 571 Help You Win It Back

James held out his hand.

Abella dropped a small white pill into his palm. "This will detox you. In half an hour, you'll feel better."

"You know medicine too?" James was surprised. Abella wasn't just graceful and agile; she also had great bandaging skills and carried a lot of meds.

"What if I don't take it?" James asked seriously.

Abella replied, "Total body fatigue, sudden death."

Ivan was shocked by the harsh consequences.

"Is the poison in my arm strong?" James asked again.

"If not treated in time, it can be fatal." Abella slung her backpack over her shoulder, put on a baseball cap and mask, and headed out to find Mike and see if he'd sell her the Piercing of Heart.

"Thanks, Ms. Fischer," James said gratefully, watching her leave.

Abella paused. 'Ms. Fischer? Does he think I'm Clare?'

But she didn't correct him and calmly said, "No problem."

As she left, Ivan whispered, "Mr. Harris, are you just going to let her go?"

"What else can I do?"

Abella reached the auction hall, and the staff told her Mike had already paid for and taken the Piercing of Heart.

"Do you know where he went?" Abella asked.

"Sorry, miss, we can't disclose our guests' whereabouts," the staff said apologetically.

Abella hacked into the nearby cameras and saw Mike had taken a black sedan to a water casino.

The place was a playground for the rich, with luxurious buildings on the water, small boats shuttling between them, and beautiful women dancing.

Inside, the wealthy spent their money freely, with plenty of other comforts waiting for them.

Abella took a cab there, but at the entrance, the staff politely stopped her. "Sorry, Miss."

She looked too young and out of place for the venue.

The staff couldn't help but say, "This is an adult venue."

Dressed casually with a baseball cap and backpack, Abella looked like a student who had wandered in by mistake.

She showed her bank balance on her phone to the staff. They were still in shock as she walked in.

"Miss, is there any game you're interested in? Would you like someone to accompany you?" the staff asked, leading the way.

Abella said calmly, "No need. What does Mr. Murray usually play?"

"He plays everything, but Craps is his favorite." The staff pointed to the hall. "He likes that table on the left."

Mike, a handsome blond with blue eyes, sat at the table, chips in one hand and a woman named Alison on his arm. His smug look showed he'd been winning big.

The table was surrounded by notable guests, some standing, some sitting.

Abella walked over.

The dealer shook the dice, and as soon as they stopped, guests placed their bets. Some bet high, some low.

Mike, riding high on his earlier wins and egged on by Alison, pushed all his $30 million in chips onto "high," shocking everyone.

"Wow, $30 million in one go."

"If he wins, he'll get over a hundred million."

"That's some serious cash."

People praised his boldness, and Alison, feeling proud, kissed him on the cheek.

"Wrong bet," Abella's calm voice cut through the chatter.

Mike glanced at her, and Alison gave Abella a disdainful once-over.

'Who is this girl? Is she trying to get Mike's attention?' Alison thought, wrapping her arms around Mike's neck and glaring at Abella.

Mike didn't take her seriously and signaled the dealer to reveal the dice.

The total was only 5.

Mike's face fell, and Alison was in shock. The $30 million was gone in a flash.

Seeing the chips taken away, Alison's face turned pale. Mike had promised her 10% of the winnings. Now, she wouldn't get a penny, and she was furious.

Mike, in a foul mood, pushed Alison away and got up to leave.

"Mr. Murray," Alison quickly caught up, hugging his waist and blaming, "It's all that girl's fault, making you lose."

"Mr. Murray, let's talk," Abella said calmly, stopping Mike.

Mike finally took a good look at her. Late at night, wearing a baseball cap and mask, and carrying a backpack. 'Where did this student come from, not studying at home and coming to find me?' he thought.

Abella said, "I know you're upset about losing, but I can help you win it back."

Alison sneered. "You? Mr. Murray, I think this girl just wants your money and attention."

Mike, having lost $30 million, wasn't very interested.

Abella continued, "I know you have no chips left. I can lend you $10 million, and you can pay me back after you win."

Mike, initially uninterested, now had a glint of interest in his blue eyes. 'Someone's offering me money? Is there such a good deal?'

"What do you want?" Mike asked directly.

Abella calmly said, "I'll help you win three rounds, and you give me the Piercing of Heart."

So she was after the Piercing of Heart.

Mike laughed wickedly, his shirt unbuttoned, looking even more playful and unruly. "Do you know how much the Piercing of Heart costs?"
