Chapter 1012 Preparation

"Yeah, Abella wished us a Merry Christmas first thing this morning and even sent us gifts. But we still weren't satisfied," Rodolfo said, just as his phone chimed. He glanced at it and saw that Abella had accepted his gift card.

"She accepted it! Abella finally accepted it!" Rodolfo exclaimed with joy. "She must have been so busy that she only just checked her phone. Poor Abella, working so hard even on Christmas. I wish we could help her out."

"She accepted it! Really accepted it! Hahaha," Kenneth echoed, equally delighted. "Rodolfo, you're not getting any younger. How many more years can you help her out? Besides, Abella's grown up now. She doesn't need an old man like you to take care of her. It's enough that we don't add to her troubles."

"Not to mention, Abella attends all sorts of events as Phillipe's fiancée. We can't help with that. Abella's grown up and knows what she's doing. If she ever gets too overwhelmed, isn't Phillipe there to look after her?" Clarence's words made Rodolfo laugh heartily.

"That's true," Rodolfo agreed.

Abella accepted their gift cards, knowing they'd be upset if she didn't, so she didn't hesitate.

She sent each of them a voice message, thanking them for the gift cards and telling them to get some rest and that she'd see them tomorrow.

"Look, Abella cares about me!" Rodolfo said happily, clearing his throat and speaking with great affection. "Abella, you should get some rest, too. We'll be there early for your welcome-back party tomorrow. I had several suits ready for you to help me choose from, but Clarence said not to bother you with such trivial matters. So, we've already picked them out ourselves."

"Alright, alright, enough with the small talk. Didn't you say Abella should get some rest? Now you're going on and on," Kenneth interrupted with a laugh. He then spoke to Abella through the phone, "Abella, you go to sleep. Starting tomorrow, your world and your life will get better and better."

The grandfathers couldn't help but keep replying to Abella's messages. Abella smiled warmly, not showing any impatience. She even started a video call and chatted with them for a while before saying goodnight.

The next morning, Abella woke up to find the best styling, makeup, and photography teams already at Long Island Manor.

After freshening up, she opened her door to find everyone bowing and introducing themselves.

Abella nodded at them. "Thank you all for your hard work today."

"It's our honor to serve you and witness one of the most important moments in your life, Ms. Medici!" They responded.

"Let Abella have breakfast first before starting the styling," Kimberly said, smiling as she took Abella's hand and spoke to the others. She looked radiant and cheerful.

As they walked downstairs, Abella's five brothers and Phillipe were already waiting in their sharp suits.

"Why are you all up so early?" Abella asked, seeing their warm smiles. "Don't tell me someone was so excited they couldn't sleep?"

"It was me! I was too excited to sleep last night!" Blake admitted, grinning from ear to ear.

He was thrilled at the thought of being able to go out with Abella openly and post her photos on social media. Now everyone would know Abella was his real sister!

The others had also had trouble sleeping, eagerly anticipating the day's events. Once the welcome-back party was held, the whole country would know that Abella was the true daughter of the Medici family.

"Ms. Medici, there are three people outside saying they're your siblings," A servant announced.

"Is it Rainey and the others?" Abella looked at Phillipe and then told the servant, "Please let them in."

The servant nodded.

"Phillipe's uncle's kids are here early?" Kimberly was surprised but mostly delighted. "The house is going to be even livelier now."

"It seems Abella got along well with them last night," Beckett said with a smile, knowing their precious Abella was loved wherever she went.

Rainey, with her sweet demeanor, won over all the elders as soon as she walked in and gave Abella a big hug. "Abella, I can't believe you look so good even in pajamas! No wonder Phillipe is smitten with you. Even I, as a girl, am charmed by you. How do I look today? I knew I couldn't outshine you, so I wore my best clothes and jewelry to show how much I like you and how important this welcome-back party is to me!"

Abella smiled gently at her. "You look great."

"Your compliment makes me happier than looking in the mirror," Rainey beamed.

"Rainey sure knows how to talk," Kimberly remarked, surprised at how much the Bourbons liked Abella.

Elara and Jerry, though not as effusive as Rainey, were polite and well-mannered, endearing themselves to everyone.

They all had breakfast together, with Rainey praising the food and the Medici family members nonstop.

"Eat your breakfast," Phillipe said, thinking she was talking too much and stealing the spotlight from Abella.

"The breakfast is so delicious, I do want to just pay attention to eating. But it's my first time here, everyone is so warm, and Abella is with me. I'm just so happy," Rainey chirped, like a lively little bird.

Winslow thought Rainey was so likable. If only she could be with Blake. She had previously liked Saskia, but Saskia was Dennis's favorite.

Vanessa thought Elara's temperament and manners were very similar to Abella's and wanted to match her with Blake.

Blake, unaware of these thoughts, warmly entertained Rainey, Elara, and Jerry, urging them to eat more.

After breakfast, Abella went upstairs to get ready. Rainey happily followed her, with Elara close behind. Jerry, unable to join them, was pulled aside by Blake for a chat.

Beckett and Kimberly had been receiving calls from friends and family since they woke up, asking how the preparations were going. The welcome-back party was to be held at the most luxurious hotel owned by the Bourbon Group, and relatives from afar were already on their way.
