Maria was at a loss for words. After a bit, she asked, "So, what did Mr. Bourbon give Abella? Did you find out?"
Lola replied, "He confessed to her with a bunch of drones and a light show on all the Bourbon Group's skyscrapers in Sunhavenia. There were also tons of flowers."

Vanessa looked around the room at Kimberly, Beckett, James, her grandchildren, and Lola, the granddaughter she had loved for eighteen years. Tears filled her eyes.
"Mom, why are you crying?" Beckett asked, wiping her tears. "Are you uncomfortable?"
Vanessa looked at Lola and cried, but no one knew what she was thinking.
Lola's eyes reddened. She knew Vanessa loved her the most. Among her five brothers, she was the most pampered.
When her brothers were naughty, Vanessa would educate them. But when she caused trouble, Vanessa would just laugh.
Kimberly had already told Vanessa the truth. Were Vanessa's tears from regret or reluctance to let go of this granddaughter?

They made way, and Abella immediately said, "Aimee, get my medical kit from my room."
"Yes!" Aimee ran as fast as she could.
Abella pressed several acupoints on Vanessa. After getting the medical kit, she quickly treated her.
Soon, Vanessa's body calmed down, her exaggerated gasps ceased, but her eyes remained moist, staring at Abella.
"Abella, is your grandma okay?" Kimberly asked worriedly.
"She's fine, just too many people and too much emotion," Abella said after checking Vanessa. "It's not serious."
"That's good," Kimberly sighed in relief.
As Abella was about to withdraw her hand, Vanessa suddenly grabbed her wrist.
Abella looked at her in surprise, seeing Vanessa's tear-filled eyes holding onto her tightly.
Abella spoke gently, "Grandma, this is our first meeting since you woke up. Let me introduce myself. My name is Abella, and I've been back in this family for half a year."
