Chapter 593 A Priceless Gift

Abella's brothers set her down.

She glanced at their outfits, especially the white beards, and burst out laughing.

Snowflakes drifted down, making everything look like a fairyland.

Steven looked at Abella fondly. "When Blake suggested this, I thought it was lame. He made me wear this white beard, and I wasn't thrilled. But seeing you laugh, I want to keep it on just to make you laugh more."

"Cut it out with the mushy stuff!" Blake shoved Steven aside and grinned at Abella. "So, what do you think of my idea?"

"It's pretty silly," Abella laughed. "But it's a nice surprise. I love it. Thanks, Steven, Ethan, Winston, Blake, Mom, Dad, and Uncle James."

Her smile was like a blooming flower, bright and warm like winter sunshine.

When Abella wasn't being aloof, her smile was stunning.

Her brothers thought they needed to make her smile more often.

Her smile was contagious and uplifting.

"Silly girl, what are you thanking us for?" Ethan ruffled Abella's hair, and the other brothers immediately protested.

"Why are you messing up her hair? Abella, let me fix it."

"Hands off! Did you even wash them? Abella, my hands are the cleanest. I'm a forensic scientist; I love disinfecting."

"Get out of here. Who's the cleanest? Don't you know?" Steven still wanted to fix her hair.

"Where's Dennis?" Kimberly suddenly asked. "Where did he go? He hasn't answered calls or texts. His sister's been back for half a year, and he hasn't shown up or even called?!"

"Mom, Dennis is busy," Steven covered for him. "I'll talk to him later."

"Dennis not being here makes the holiday better," Winston said with a mischievous grin. "I was worried he'd ruin the mood."

"I just made a group chat and didn't add Dennis. Let him regret it," Blake said.

Blake was grinning when Kimberly asked, confused, "What group chat? Why didn't you add me?"

Beckett checked his phone. "I'm not in it either?"

"Blake, that's not right. We're all family, and you made a separate group chat," James said with uncle authority. "Add me in."

"It's just for us siblings. It's not appropriate for you guys to join," Blake grinned. "With you elders around, Abella wouldn't feel comfortable joking around."

Steven seemed to remember something. "Did you add Lola too?"

"No," Blake quickly said. "If she were in it, the vibe would change. Steven, if you think it's necessary, I'll make another group and add them."

They could just be active in Abella's group.

Lately, Lola had been overthinking things.

If everyone was in one group and they joked with Abella, Lola might feel uncomfortable.

Plus, they loved posting photos with Abella.

If Lola saw them, she'd probably think they were doing it on purpose.

"No need. I don't have much time to chat. Lola has a lot of exams coming up. Don't disturb her," Steven said, and everyone got the hint.

"Did you invite Lola today?" James suddenly asked.

Blake looked puzzled. "Uncle James, how could we invite her to surprise Abella? That would be like stabbing her in the heart. Girls overthink things. If she felt we were all focused on Abella and not her..."

"We've given Lola plenty of surprises over the years. This year, Abella's back with the family, and we're spending the first holiday with her. It's not too much," Ethan said.

"Lola has a boyfriend now. She can spend her first holiday with him and make some great memories," Winston added. "Besides, even though we're 12 hours ahead of Libertya, we can still call her, video chat, or go out for a meal when we get back."

"If she thinks we're being biased, then no matter what we do, it'll seem biased. I just hope she grows up and understands some things," Steven said.

Kimberly sighed, "Actually, all of this is just a coincidence. Abella was called here by an acquaintance to help with a medical issue. She didn't expect to run into her grandmother and uncle here, and Beckett and I didn't expect to see her either."

Since they met, as her uncle, James naturally wanted to take Abella around.

Moreover, it was Christmas Eve and Christmas.

There was no reason for everyone to go back to spend the holiday with Lola alone, right?

"Alright, let's not talk about this. Didn't you prepare gifts for Abella? Who's going first?" James asked.

Steven suggested, "Let's go by seniority."

"Abella, this is my holiday gift for you. I hope you like it," Kimberly said, handing her a gift box from a red gift bag. The wrapping paper was encrusted with Swarovski crystals.

This kind of wrapping paper was common in high society, usually made up of ten thousand crystal-clear crystals, but this gift was large and must have used at least twenty thousand.

"Open it and see if you like it," Kimberly said expectantly.

The Christmas-themed planner had arranged for several famous photographers to capture the moment.

The planner intended to make a video for them to keep as a memento.

"And mine!" Beckett also took out a large gift box from a gift bag.

When Abella opened it, she found that Beckett had given her the deed to a private island, and Kimberly had given her the world's largest castle-themed amusement park, which included a fairy tale hotel, fairy tale restaurant, and a dreamy Ferris wheel.

It was priceless.

"Thank you, Mom and Dad," Abella said emotionally, "I really like it."

"This is my little token," James said, handing her an exquisite and luxurious gift box.

She opened it to find a house deed and a key.

The house was located in the most expensive area of Nuw Yark, covering over six thousand square feet, ranking among the world's top luxury homes, and worth over a billion dollars at current market prices.
