"No way! When Abella beat Elsa earlier, I thought something was off. Now she's beaten Mr. Wodehouse too? Doesn't anyone find that weird?"
The girl's comment got everyone suspicious.
"Yeah, Abella's just a student. How could she beat Mr. Wodehouse?"
"Mr. Wodehouse is a world-famous board game master."
"I think she cheated! She must've used AI!"

The crowd's chatter reached Abella, and she smiled. So now they were acknowledging that her brain was as good as AI.
"Maybe she cheated in all her competitions, even the SAT. We should call the police!"
"Yeah, call the police and disqualify her from everything."
"Medical University should expel her. She’s a disgrace."
"You're slandering her!"
People from Medical University defended Abella, clearly upset.
"Every move Abella made was clear. How could she have cheated?"
"You keep talking about AI, but where's the proof?"
"We have no proof, indeed, but that is why we should call the police."
"Brave enough to cheat but not to face the consequences?"
"Is this what Medical University teaches? To cheat?"
The crowd seemed sure Abella had cheated, looking at her with disdain.
Medical University folks were furious. "Without evidence, it's slander! Abella can sue you!"
"Sue us? Fine, but call the police first! The truth will come out."
Medical University people were angry and helpless. "Abella, they're going too far."
"Call the police. If you can't prove it, I'll sue each of you. I'll also ask Innovation University for a public apology and a major demerit on you." Abella responded.

Innovation University valued moral character over grades. A student with bad character who liked to slander others would only bring shame to the university after graduation.
The crowd didn't understand why their principal was siding with an outsider. Was it because Abella was pretty? Or because she knew Clarence, and Hubert wanted to curry favor with him?
