Chapter 461 Found My Biological Parents

Abella looked at Winston's profile and suddenly felt sorry for him. "What's her name? Maybe I can help."

Winston looked at Abella in surprise, realizing that his sister's hacking skills might actually be able to find her.

"Later, send me her personal information." Abella's gaze shifted ahead. "If she's really doing well, we don't need to disturb her. But if she has any hidden troubles, you can take this opportunity to clear things up."

Winston looked at his sister's profile and finally agreed, "Alright."

Lola, hiding in the shadows, never expected that Winston had such a memorable past. His family thought he was single, but why did he only tell Abella? He never mentioned his own sister.

Abella knew that only Lola would eavesdrop from the shadows, so she didn't bother with her.

After taking a shower, Abella received a message from Winston.

Winston: [Nicole Medici, 22 years old, Libra, grew up in an orphanage, and was adopted by a family when she was 6. She now lives at 111 Fishpond Road, South District, New York. Her adoptive parents are both teachers in the county.]

Winston also sent a photo, showing a woman with a cold and indifferent demeanor, a very beautiful girl.

Abella: [Got it.]

Abella replied to the message and then sent another one to her subordinates.

Abella: [Find this person for me as quickly as possible.]

Subordinate: [As quickly as possible? Boss, did this person desecrate your ancestors' graves or owe you a huge sum of money? Why are you looking for her?]

Her subordinate couldn't help asking this.

Subordinate: [There are many beautiful girls in this world, but I've only seen two with this kind of temperament in my life - one is you, and the other is her. Boss, could she be your long-lost sister? I find that you both have a similar aura!]

The girl exuded a sense of sophistication and aloofness, her cold and distant eyes making it hard to fathom.

Abella: [Quickly check, stop the chitchat.]

She sat down to blow-dry her hair.

Early the next morning, Abella planned to visit 111 Fishpond Road.

As she was leaving, a servant mentioned that Winston had been sitting on the balcony all night, unable to sleep, perhaps in a bad mood.

Abella glanced at Winston's bedroom and saw that the balcony was now empty.

She picked a car from the garage, navigated to the South District, and then parked in a nearby location before walking to Fishpond Road.

Fishpond Road was narrow, with fishponds on the left and rows of houses on the right. There was only a small path in the middle for pedestrians.

Abella followed the rusty and blurred house numbers, searching one by one.

Many villagers were doing business in front of their homes, selling fruits, running small convenience stores, or selling vegetables.

Number 911 was a breakfast stall, where the owner set up a small tent at the entrance, selling steaming hot coffee, lasagna, and thick soup.

Many people frequented his stall, and the tables and chairs were placed right in front of number 111.

"Boss, a cup of coffee, please." Abella approached and saw that all the seats in front of number 111 were taken. She couldn't help but ask, "Boss, doesn't this block the neighbors from coming in and out?"

"You're obviously new here, aren't you from this village?" The owner poured coffee into a cup and glanced at Abella. There were no such beautiful girls in the village.

"I'm here to find a classmate. It's my first time here."

Seeing Abella's sincerity, the owner didn't hide anything either. "Next door is the home of Mr. Medici. He and his wife resigned and left to find their daughter. It's been two or three months since they left."

"Their daughter is missing?"

"A year ago, they said she found her biological parents and wanted to settle abroad. But later, she lost contact with this place. No matter how many calls or messages Mr. Medici and his wife sent, there was no response."

Abella's gaze became solemn.

"Mr. Medici said that this child has always been filial and sensible. It's impossible for her to just leave like that. They said she found her biological parents, but those parents have never shown up. Mr. Medici and his wife always felt that something happened to the child, so they decided to give up their jobs and go to the United States to find her." The owner handed the coffee to Abella. "One dollar."

"The United States is huge. Without a detailed address, it's like finding a needle in a haystack," Abella casually remarked.

"I heard it was in something... the name was too long, I didn't remember." The owner continued making lasagna.

"Florida."

"Yes, your educated brain is working well, that's the name!"

Another person approached the breakfast stall and asked, "Has Mr. Medici returned?"

"Yeah, it's been two or three months. I wonder if they have found Nicole. What a situation, raising the child with so much effort, only for her to leave with her biological parents. It must have hurt Mr. and Mrs. Medici," someone said.

"I can't believe that Nicole is so heartless. Could she have encountered scammers abroad and been deceived?" another villager speculated.

"It's impossible. She must have found her biological parents. Think about it, Nicole has been good at English since she was a child, even more fluent than us in speaking Mandarin. She must be living a good life abroad. I guess they just don't want her to contact us from there."

"Although Nicole has always been quiet, I feel like she will have a bright future."

"Yeah, the aura she exudes is not like someone from our small village."

"Poor Mr. Medici, he hasn't left this town for most of his life, and now he has to go abroad to find his daughter."

The crowd began to discuss animatedly.

Abella found a seat, silently sipping her coffee.

"Hey, do you think this has something to do with the group that came to our village before?"

Abella raised her gaze and looked at the villager who spoke.

"Who knows, but Mr. Medici said not to make a big deal out of this. Let's not mention it in the future."

"Yeah, if the child really finds her biological parents and doesn't plan to come back, talking about it will only hurt Mr. Medici. Let's all drop it."

Abella quietly finished her coffee and, seeing the villager who had bought breakfast leave, she got up and followed. The villager was carrying the purchased breakfast and heading home when suddenly someone asked a question.

"Excuse me, what's the story with the group of people you mentioned earlier?" Abella explained sincerely, "Well, Nicole Medici is my school senior. She helped me a lot in school, and I also borrowed her books. But I can't reach her, and I'm worried that something might have happened to her."

The villager saw the sincerity in the girl's eyes and realized she wasn't a bad person. So she said, "That was a few months ago. One night, a group of people broke into Mr. Medici's house, around two or three in the morning. My roof was leaking, and the rain was dripping right onto my bed. My husband saw it when he went to fix the roof."
