Chapter 1037 Deal with Molly

Abella saw the grieving families and assured them, "We'll get to the bottom of this. If it's our fault, we'll own up to it. But someone's definitely trying to smear the Medici name. We'll find out who did this and make sure they pay."

Just then, a familiar doctor hurried over. "Ms. Medici, you're just in time. One of the car accident patients is in critical condition. Can you come take a look?"

The families immediately bombarded the doctor with questions. "Is it my daughter?"

"Is it my son? I'm the father of the patient in ward 18."

"My husband was brought in this morning, Is it him?"

"It's the patient in ward 19. Please, everyone, stay calm," the doctor replied, then turned to Abella. "Ms. Medici, can you help?"

Abella nodded and followed him.

Meanwhile, a luxury car pulled up in front of the Bourbon Group building. The driver respectfully handed a lunchbox to Molly as he opened the door for her.

Molly, holding the lunchbox, looked up at the towering building. It had been a while since she last visited.

As soon as she entered, the receptionists stood up and greeted her politely. "Ms. McCoy, long time no see."

"I'm here to see Phillipe. No need to inform him; I want to surprise him," She said, walking confidently with the lunchbox, as if she were the future hostess of the company.

"Ms. McCoy..." One of the receptionists hurried to stop her, apologizing, "I'm sorry, but could you please wait here for a moment? Mr. Bourbon is in a meeting and will be seeing an important client afterward. Let me call Gabriel."

"Are you saying I'm not as important as a client?"

"Of course not!" The receptionist quickly replied. "It's just that a client forced their way upstairs recently, and Mr. Bourbon was very upset. We all got reprimanded."

Molly scoffed, clearly unimpressed. "What does that have to do with me? Do you think Phillipe would be angry if I showed up unexpectedly? You have no idea what I mean to him."

"Of course, in Mr. Bourbon's eyes, Ms. McCoy, you're like a sister to him."

Hearing the word "sister," Molly glared at the receptionist through her sunglasses, displeased.

"What if I insist on going up today?"

"Ms. McCoy, please don't make this difficult for me..." The receptionist didn't expect Molly to be so determined. Seeing her head towards Phillipe's private elevator, she quickly blocked the way. "Ms. McCoy, please..."

Molly pushed her aside and stepped into the elevator. The receptionist, nearly falling, reached out to stop the doors. "Ms. McCoy, please listen to me..."

The next second, Molly shoved her out of the elevator and pressed the close button.

The receptionist fell, hitting a trash can behind her, wincing in pain.

"What happened?" A hand reached out to her, glancing at the now-closed elevator doors.

The receptionist looked up, feeling wronged. "Ms. Bourbon, you're here?"

"I saw someone push you. Are you okay?" Elara helped her up. "Who was that? So rude."

"It was Ms. McCoy. She said she wanted to surprise Mr. Bourbon with a lunchbox and wouldn't listen."

"Why is she here?" Elara frowned, then looked at the receptionist. "Are you hurt? If you have any cuts or bruises, go take care of them. You don't need to work the rest of the day. I'll talk to Phillipe."

"Thank you, Ms. Bourbon!" The receptionist was grateful.

Molly, holding the lunchbox, reached the office floor. Gabriel saw her and hurried over. "Ms. McCoy? You're back?"

"Where's Phillipe?"

"Mr. Bourbon is in a meeting, not on this floor."

"I'll wait in his office."

Gabriel blocked her way. "I'm sorry, but please wait a moment..."

Molly was about to push him aside when a voice stopped her.

"Are you going to push Gabriel too?" Elara walked out of the elevator, exuding an air of wealth and privilege.

Gabriel looked relieved. "Ms. Bourbon!"

"Elara?" Molly was annoyed. "What are you doing here?"

"If you can be here, why can't I? I'm Phillipe's cousin. Who are you?"

Elara stood in front of the office, eyeing Molly's lunchbox disdainfully. "What, trying to win Phillipe over with food?"

"So what if I am?"

Elara knocked the lunchbox out of her hands.

"You!" Molly was furious.

"In my eyes, except for Abella, any woman trying to get close to Phillipe is a bitch with bad intentions. I suggest you leave before I get nasty."

"What right do you have to interfere? Who Phillipe is with is none of your business."

"It matters a lot. If Phillipe gets married, His wife will be my family. I can't bear being family with someone like you."

"You!" Molly was livid. "Just wait until Phillipe gets here. We'll see what he does to you!"

Molly tried to push open Phillipe's office door to wait inside.

But Elara shoved her away, still protecting Gabriel. "Gabriel, please turn around and double-check Phillipe's schedule. Make sure nothing is missed."

"Yes." Gabriel stifled a laugh, knowing Elara wanted to handle Molly without him witnessing it, avoiding future trouble.

"Gabriel, she pushed me. Didn't you see?"

"Sorry, Ms. McCoy, I just turned around and didn't see anything."

"You!" Molly realized they were in cahoots, getting even angrier.

"Are you leaving or not?" Elara pushed her again. "Phillipe doesn't want someone throwing themselves at him. If you have any dignity, leave now. Otherwise, I'll call your dad and tell him you're trying to be a homewrecker!"
