Chapter 330 The Centre of Attention

Phillipe, dressed casually today, and looked just like any other college student on campus.

Even though he wore a black mask, those star-like eyes were so striking, coupled with his six-foot-two statureHe had barely appeared when numerous girls noticed him and began flocking around to ask for his WhatsApp information.

"Hi, excuse me, which class are you from? May I have your WhatsApp?" one said.

"I'd like to get to know you." Another girl stepped forward.

"There are some academic questions I'd like to ask you."

"I'm curious if you have a girlfriend, and if not, do you think I might be suitable?"

Phillipe's gaze remained fixed on Abella the entire time. He slightly tilted his chin up, nodded at the young lady ahead.

"I'm already taken." Came his blunt answer.

Seven or eight girls turned their heads towards the school gates, where they saw a stunningly beautiful girl with delicate features, an ethereal demeanor, and a slender, tall figure walking their way.

So beautiful...

When did such a breathtaking girl appear in the school?

She wore an army uniform and must have been a freshman. I never thought someone could look so stunning in a military outfit... It's just so unfair.

Phillipe, dressed casually like his secretary advised, made his way step by step toward Abella. But before they got close, several male students ran up to Abella.

"Hello, I'm Giles, a sophomore. I really like you. Would you be my girlfriend?"

Seeing the boy's nervous demeanor, Abella replied calmly "I'm sorry, I can’t."

"Hi, I'm Jolyon. I've heard the bread from the bakery near the west gate of the school is delicious. I bought some for you to try."

Another handsome, sunny guy dressed in a sports outfit handed a bag to Abella. But Abella didn't take it, politely saying "Thank you, but I've already eaten."

"What about some cake? I've heard their little cakes are uniquely shaped and taste great too. I bought a few, you should take them home to try."

"There's no need, thank you." Abella still didn't take anything from him.

"Hello, I'm Yorick from the pediatric class. I have some medical knowledge to share with you. Could I get your contact information?"

"If you don't understand something, ask the teacher." Suddenly, a pleasant male voice reached their ears.

Everyone turned around to see a tall young man, roughly 6 feet 3 inches, walking toward them. His beautiful eyes were so striking that all of creation seemed to fade in comparison...

The next second, he took Abella's hand and said lightly, "She has a boyfriend now."
The boys stood there stunned, as they eventually came to their senses one by one, they apologized, and hurriedly walked away...

Abella lifted her lustrous eyes, "What brings you here?" she asked.

"If I hadn't come, I wouldn't have known how many guys have their minds on you." Phillipe said, turning his attention to the few girls beside her.

Joanna and Josie were stunned, unable to believe that Abella had a boyfriend, and such a tall, handsome one!

Even though her apparent boyfriend was wearing a mask, his eyes were incredibly beautiful!

They just looked so perfect together!!

Clare, as if she was used to such scenes, greeted him naturally, "Hi, I'm Clare, Abella's good friend."

"Nice to meet you." Phillipe removed his mask, nodded slightly, revealing a face so handsome and a voice so charming that it was irresistible.

"Hello, I'm Joanna, Abella's roommate." Joanna was amazed at how even more handsome he was without the mask.

Absolutely flawless!

For the first time, Josie experienced what they call a 'high-class face'. Phillipe's handsomeness was a visual shock that left her deeply impressed.

"Hello, I'm Josie." She managed to say.

"Pleased to meet you." Phillipe nodded at them again.

Abella casually introduced him, "My fiancé, Phillipe."

The word "fiancé" dropped like a bombshell, exploding suddenly between Joanna and Josie.

"You-you-you, you're engaged...." Josie's eyes widened in disbelief.

She had thought the man was her boyfriend, but he was actually her fiancé...

How old could she be to be engaged already? Josie thought but dare not speak her mind.

"That name, Phillipe, sounds so familiar...where have I heard it before?" Joanna mumbled, then it hit her, and she stuttered, "My God, he... he is Phillipe..."

Phillipe, the man who was always at the top of the Forbes billionaires list, the wealthiest man in the world!!!

The internet only had a few rare photos of him, all showing his stern face, dressed in formal attire, mature and composed...

But today, with his casual attire and a mask on, she had failed to recognize him...

Never did she expect that he would have a fiancée, and that she'd be sharing a dorm with her!!

A global magnate and a top-scoring student, unreal! Joanna’s mind was a flurry of thoughts and questions.

"No need to be so shocked, you'll get used to it," Clare patted their shoulders. "Let's go back to the dorm. Let them chat for a while."

Joanna and Josie were dumbfounded, walking ahead as Clare linked arms with them, clueless as to how they got there.

"Put your mask back on." Abella was worried that his handsome face would cause too much of a sensation.

Phillipe put on his mask and held her face in his hands, "My ungrateful girl, you've been away for days and haven't come looking for me."

Abella was puzzled, "Don't we talk on the phone every day?"

"You haven't reached out." Phillipe looked at her with a mix of sadness and reproach, "You obviously don't want to see me... It seems your college life is so full, you've forgotten me..."

Abella chuckled, "Didn't I say I'd be with you after military training?"

"Why wait for military training to end? Huh?" Phillipe's eyes were filled with incomprehension and protest, "You have time to dine with friends, but you don't miss me, you don't worry if I'm lonely or hungry."

"Don't you have your secretary for company?" Abella said teasingly.

At this point, the secretary behind them wished he could make himself invisible.

"How could he compare to you?" Phillipe retorted.

The secretary thought...

Mr. Bourbon, you're being unfair. What's wrong with being a man? I might not compare to Abella, but I've done a lot of work! I'm irreplaceable too!

Abella looked helplessly at the man in front of her and asked. "So how do you want to be compensated?"

"Be with me today, and tomorrow's a rest day, right? Be with me then too!" Phillipe didn't give her a chance to refuse, adding. "I deserve some sweetness, right?"

Abella understood what he meant – this guy had been hinting, both subtly and overtly, that he wanted her to stay at his place for a night, even before she enrolled.

Is it so necessary?

"Then hands off." Abella stipulated.

"I'm fully aware, don't worry." Phillipe said as he caressed her face, that face he longed for day and night. Having finally touched it, he couldn't help but linger a little longer.

"Put your hand down." Abella chastised him playfully.

"I haven't seen you for so long," he said, and he was reluctant to let her leave.
