Chapter 853 Heartbroken

Hearing her mother say she was terrible, Lola's tears began to fall. "I was just talking nonsense. I had no idea Abella was Summer. It's freedom of speech online, I was just making stuff up. Mom, you have to believe me. You can doubt me on anything else, but on this, I'm truly innocent!"

Kimberly looked at her tearful face without a hint of softness and said coldly, "When Abella comes back, you will apologize to her in front of all the family members and then move out."

Lola stared blankly at Kimberly. Was this the same mother who used to protect her, really going to kick her out?

Not only kick her out but also make her apologize to Abella in front of all the family members? Was this to strip her of all her dignity?

"Mom, you're going to kick me out? You don't want me anymore?" Lola's voice was filled with despair, "You said that no matter what happened, I would always be your daughter. You said that even if Abella came back, you would treat us equally. You said you would watch me walk down the aisle in a wedding dress."

"And you still have the nerve to say these things to me?" Kimberly said angrily, "You brought this all on yourself!"

When they treated her like their own daughter, she didn't cherish it and kept hurting their real daughter behind their backs.

Lola had been caught several times, only to pretend to be weak and innocent, faking her apologies.

"Weren't you too weak to pick up the branch earlier? How come you have the strength to argue now?" Kimberly's tone carried a hint of sarcasm.

Lola was stunned. Seeing Kimberly turn to leave, she hurriedly rushed forward and hugged her legs, almost causing her to trip.

If Beckett hadn't caught her in time, she would have fallen.

"Mom, don't kick me out. I really didn't know Abella was Summer," Lola cried, "No one in the family told me. I really didn't know. I can promise you, I didn't do it. You can't blame me for something I didn't do."

"Let go," Kimberly said, not intending to listen to her explanation.

"Mom," Lola sobbed, "Don't kick me out. Where would I go? This is my home. You and Dad are my closest family in the world."

"And you still won't tell the truth?" Kimberly was utterly disappointed. If she had admitted it honestly, as a mother, she wouldn't be so disappointed now.

"I said let go."

"I won't..."

Maybe it was too cold, Lola was shivering, but she still held tightly to Kimberly's legs, crying, "Mom, you will always be my mom. You can hit me, scold me, punish me however you want, just don't kick me out."

"What are you standing there for? Pull her away," Kimberly's cold gaze fell on Abbie.

Abbie hurriedly pulled Lola away, "Ms. Medici, holding onto Mrs. Medici like this makes her uncomfortable. Let's talk about this later."

"Let go of me," Lola didn't expect this fool to drag her down at this moment. Not only did she not help plead for her, but she also kept pulling her away.

Kimberly turned and left, her back resolute and cold.

"Lola, you have really broken our hearts. You have disappointed us too much," Beckett said, following Kimberly into the main house.

The door closed mercilessly. Lola knelt forward a few steps, "Dad, Mom."

In the living room, Jacob saw Lola crying to no avail and hurriedly stepped forward, "Mr. Medici, Mrs. Medici."

"You better not plead for her, or you'll be kicked out too," Kimberly said angrily, "I thought she really knew she was wrong, but she kept deceiving us. Pretending to apologize on the surface, but cursing so harshly behind our backs. Where did all the manners and upbringing she learned in the past eighteen years go?"

"I didn't expect her to become so unrecognizable," Beckett was also deeply disappointed, following Kimberly upstairs, "I don't think she will change. After she apologizes to Abella, let her move out."

"She can't stay any longer," Kimberly agreed. After these incidents, she saw through it. That child wouldn't change.

Lola felt like she had been abandoned by the whole world.

She knelt in the snow, her body numb and unfeeling.

She couldn't believe her parents were really going to kick her out.

The love and care of the past eighteen years were still vivid in her mind, as if it all happened yesterday.

Although Jacob had told her before that her parents might make her leave the Medici family after Easter.

But hearing her parents say it themselves, and getting slapped twice, felt completely different.

She was completely abandoned by the parents who once loved her the most!

They promised to treat her like their own daughter for a lifetime, to treat everyone equally, but it was all lies!

Lola's tears flowed freely. In the freezing cold, her body trembled. Jacob, seeing this from the living room, couldn't bear it.

Lola didn't know how long she had been standing in the snow until she lost all feeling and collapsed heavily.

Jacob hurried to Kimberly, "Mrs. Medici, Ms. Medici has been kneeling for three hours and has fainted from exhaustion."

Kimberly was about to have dinner. Hearing this, she didn't soften at all and continued walking towards the dining area.

"Mr. Medici, please give Ms. Medici another chance?" Jacob turned his hope to Beckett, who was usually more lenient.

But Beckett didn't respond either, instead, he followed Kimberly to the dining area and pulled out a chair for her.

At this moment, Abbie came from the kitchen with a tray of food, intending to bring it to Lola. Seeing this, Kimberly said coldly, "From this moment on, don't bring her any more food."

Abbie was stunned and instinctively asked, "Then what will Ms. Medici eat?"

"Doesn't she have hands? Can't she cook?" Kimberly said coldly after sitting down, "Until Abella comes back, no one is to take care of her."

Abbie and Jacob exchanged a glance, then put down the food tray and left with their heads down.

Kimberly looked at the delicious food in front of her, recalling the moments of pampering Lola, her pure and bright smile, and the harsh words she said in private.

"Don't think about it," Beckett said, "We've been good enough to her. We have a clear conscience."

"I wonder if Abella has landed yet?" Kimberly thought of Abella being abroad alone and took out her phone to send her a message.
