Chapter 961 Dennis's Intentions

The brothers were stunned to see Steven joining the competition for their sister's attention, their eyes widening in disbelief.

"I might not be available for Christmas," Abella said quietly.

Dennis immediately jumped in with concern. "Do you have unfinished work? Just tell me—I'll handle it for you!"

Abella knew he wielded considerable influence in Britonia, but this particular task required her personal touch to show proper respect to the princess.

"I need to fly to Britonia the day after tomorrow."

She would personally deliver the finished garments to the princess.

"I'll come with you!" Dennis declared.

Since Britonia was his territory, the other brothers knew they couldn't compete, though their skeptical glances spoke volumes.

"You're still injured—can you really protect her properly?" one of them challenged.

"Abella, why not consider me instead?" Ethan suggested smoothly. "You know my team's capabilities rival Dennis's. Plus, we specialize in covert operations—we'll stay invisible unless you're in danger, completely undetectable."

"Actually, Nicole and I should escort you," Winston countered. "You know our combat skills, and we're certainly more reliable than an injured Dennis. We won't need Ethan's small army either—too many people draw unwanted attention."

"You could also ask that person from the other day to accompany you," Steven hinted meaningfully.

Quincy alone would be her most formidable ally!

"It's my territory—who knows it better than I do? How could anything happen to our sister under my watch?" Dennis protested.

"What about that abandoned building incident?" Steven asked coolly.

"And her arm got injured!" Ethan added pointedly.

Winston chimed in, "Abella and I have better synchronization—we work twice as efficiently together!"

Dennis stood his ground. "How long have you all been spending time with her? Can't you just let me have a chance? Christmas is coming, she'll only be gone briefly, and you're fighting me over even that small window?"

When arguing failed, Dennis turned to Abella with wounded puppy eyes. "Abella, you be the judge—they're bullying me just because they're older!"

What did he mean "older"? They were only one, two, maybe three years his senior! The brothers clenched their fists, restraining the urge to throttle him.

"Abella, I'm only free these next few days. What if urgent business takes me abroad after New Year's? Let me spend this time with you?" Dennis switched to his pitiful act. "My chest suddenly aches terribly—they must have upset me. What if my wounds reopen while you're gone? Please let me escort you!"

Seeing the usually aloof and arrogant Dennis reduced to such theatrics, Abella couldn't suppress her amusement. "Alright."

Dennis thought he'd misheard. Joy flooded his features as he stared at his sister. "I'll start preparing immediately! You're absolutely wonderful!"

He shot a triumphant look at his brothers. See that? She favored him most! Who held the greatest place in her heart now? Crystal clear!

The brothers were amazed that such a small victory could elate him so thoroughly. After he left, they turned back to Abella.

Steven smiled and said, "For other destinations, I'm available too."

Ethan chimed in enthusiastically, "I'm always up for it."Winston nodded and added, "Count me in too."

Dennis rushed to his room and immediately called his Britonia contacts, ordering them to stay alert the day after tomorrow—24-hour readiness was mandatory to ensure his sister's safety.

Then he opened his luggage and carefully packed every single item Abella had given him: shirts, pants, socks—not one piece left behind!

A servant knocked, delivering several coats.

"Ms. Medici had QY send these over for the Fourth Young Master's warmth," the servant explained.

Dennis was amazed—his sister had just mentioned sending him coats, and they'd arrived instantly! Though not custom-tailored specifically for him, he absolutely loved these pieces. They lifted his spirits just looking at them.

"When you brought these, did anyone else see?" Dennis asked.

The servant looked puzzled.

"Some guards outside probably noticed, and people in the living room knew when I entered."

"I meant my older brothers."

The servant grew more confused. "They were coming downstairs when I arrived. I greeted them, but I'm not sure if they saw the package."

So they had seen! The style clearly screamed Abella's handiwork!

Let them seethe with envy! Finally, his moment to gloat had arrived!

"Mr. Medici, shall I wash these first before delivering them? They'll be clean and dry within an hour," the servant offered, understanding his particular nature.

"Go, go quickly!" Dennis was beside himself with joy. After a moment's thought, he opened his safe and withdrew a thick stack of cash.

Would this amount seem trivial to his sister?

Reconsidering, he replaced the money and pulled out his exclusive private banking card instead, then proceeded to "raid" his safe of every rare and peculiar treasure he'd collected.

Soon, he knocked on Abella's door.

"Come in." Abella was sketching designs.

Since the family now knew she was QY's founder, she no longer bothered hiding her work from them.

"Abella, are you designing clothes?" Dennis entered to find not only paper sketches but digital designs on her computer—some elegantly grand, others fashionably sophisticated.

Dennis set down his offerings and examined her sketches page by page. "These are gorgeous. Could I purchase a few to give you as gifts? You'd look stunning in them."

Abella smiled serenely. "These are all pre-orders. Several are rush jobs—I need to deliver them the day after tomorrow."

"So you're personally delivering clothes? Who's important enough to warrant that? Give me the address—I'll handle the delivery while you rest at home."

"This particular client truly requires my personal attention."

Her phone buzzed—a call from her subordinate.

"What's the word?" she answered immediately. "Still no stock? We're only missing that down jacket to complete the order. Keep searching—if nothing turns up, I'll find another solution."

After hanging up, Dennis couldn't help asking, "What's unavailable? Tell me what you need—I'll make it happen."

"It's a specific down called 'Down Royale'—the clusters are larger than regular goose down, with superior loft and cleanliness. It's more cold-resistant, rarer, and befitting the client's status."

Abella explained, "The client has a Christmas cruise planned, spending extended time at sea. Ocean winds carry icy moisture that penetrates clothing seams, so this trip demands a high-performance outer layer. The jacket must provide warmth while remaining fashionable, plus offer wind and water resistance with breathability."

Dennis was astounded that a single jacket required such complex considerations, and even more surprised that his sister would think so meticulously about a client's casual cruise.

Looking at her down jacket design—stylish, beautiful, and slimming—he wondered, 'Is this client a woman?'
