Chapter 600 The Grand Confession
"Been a while, huh?" Phillipe noticed her silence and felt both happy and touched. "You've kept the gift with you all this time?"
Abella didn't dare admit she drew it last minute.
"How can you be so sweet?" Phillipe was moved. "I have something for you too."
He hugged Abella from behind and handed her a small remote. "Press it."
As soon as she did, thousands of drones lit up the night sky, forming the words: [Abella, I love you.]
"Mr. Harris! Mr. Harris!" Aimee, in the garden, saw this and rushed inside.
Seeing her panic, James stopped what he was doing and calmly asked, "What's wrong?"
"Ms. Medici, she, she..." Aimee panted.
Everyone stood up, anxious. "What happened to her?"
"Someone's confessing to her, lighting up the whole sky!"
They all rushed outside and saw the drones spelling out: [Abella, I love you.]
Blake reacted first. "It's gotta be Phillipe. Only he would do this."
"Phillipe's here? Where?" Beckett looked outside but saw no one.
"Phillipe thinks a little romance will win Abella over." Winston looked at the drones and felt his surprise for Nicole wasn't as grand.
"Wow, so high-tech and creative!" Aimee marveled. "So, Ms. Medici has a boyfriend? He must really love her."
The drones then formed an image of a couple embracing, with the words:
[I want to spend every holiday with you.]
Then they changed again:
[Not just every holiday, but every day, every hour, every minute, I want to spend with you.]
Many servants were moved to tears.
"Seriously? If he gets every day, every hour, every minute, what about us?"
"He must be nearby."
"Where's Abella?"
"She said she was going out for a bit, could it be..."
She went to Phillipe?
Everyone finally got it.
The drones formed various romantic patterns, then turned into a large bouquet of flowers, which was handed to Abella.
"Is this my Christmas gift?" Abella turned, just in time for a kiss. She smiled softly, eyes gentle. "I love it, thank you."
"And this." Phillipe took out a ring box with a beautiful heart-shaped diamond ring inside.
"This ring is different from the others." Phillipe placed it on her slender finger.
It was a rare blue diamond, the largest natural fancy blue diamond in the world, weighing 39 carats. The Quatara Royal family had bought it for $80 million long ago, and Phillipe had acquired it at an even higher price, cutting it into a heart shape.
"Let me take you somewhere." Phillipe held her hand and they got into the car.
As they drove, all the skyscrapers under the Bourbon Group began displaying large-scale light shows. A man made of lights crossed one skyscraper after another, handing a bouquet of flowers to a girl.
The lights formed the words: [I Love You.]
The girl took the flowers, and they embraced.
The lights also spelled out: [Abella.]
Passersby took out their phones, snapping pics and wondering who this lucky girl was to have such a romantic display on the Bourbon Group's skyscrapers.
The car drove through one road after another, each with a different romantic light show, until they arrived at the Bourbon Group's resort.
The place was a sea of flowers, with hundreds of three-story-high pink heart-shaped balloons floating above. The flowers stretched as far as the eye could see, with giant dolls, large roses made of fresh flowers, romantic swings, and more.
When Phillipe led Abella out of the car, petals fell from the sky, and a light show projected a boy and girl walking through the seasons on the fountain's water curtain.
Abella was amazed at how much effort Phillipe had put into making her happy.
"Such a beautiful scene, isn't there anyone to help us take pictures?" Abella asked with a smile.
"There is." Phillipe had hired many photographers.
As snowflakes and petals fell, they embraced passionately, and the photographers kept snapping away.
Meanwhile, her brothers were all messaging Phillipe.
[Where did you take my sister?]
[I called her, but she didn't answer. I texted her, but she didn't reply. Is she with you?]
[Where are you guys? My dad wants you to come over if it's convenient.]
At the same time, the romantic skyscraper light show made the news, causing quite a stir online. Everyone was curious about who this "Abella" was to dominate the Bourbon Group's buildings.
The resort, rumored to have a wealthy heir creating romance for his girlfriend, featured a sea of flowers costing millions, all made of fresh flowers, along with giant dolls and roses.
Blake saw the news and said, "It must be Phillipe. Didn't expect him to be so romantic."
"He probably followed her from Libertya," Steven speculated.
"He is indeed sincere about Abella," Ethan said.
Meanwhile, Lola, sitting in the corner, looked at the trending news on her phone with envy. She didn't expect Phillipe to love someone this much.
After a long time, she finally messaged Maria.
Lola: [Maria, have you and your people seen the gifts my brothers and uncle sent me?]
Lola thought for a moment and added: [They said they sent them before I left for Sunhavenia, but I haven't seen them yet.]
Maria: [I'm not sure about that. I'll check the surveillance footage. Don't worry.]
Lola: [Okay, thank you.]
Maria: [Ms. Lola Medici, you're being too polite! By the way, do you like the gift I sent you?]
Before Lola left for Sunhavenia, Maria had sent her a gift, but she left in a hurry and hadn't opened it yet.
Lola: [I'll open it when I get back. I'm sure I'll like it since it's from you!]
