Chapter 886 Agree to Meet
Abella stepped out of the hospital elevator with Theo when she suddenly heard an excited voice.
"Hey, is that you?" Sean exclaimed, clearly thrilled to see her. "I've been looking for you forever! I heard Mr. Medici is here too. You didn't run into him, did you? He didn't give you any trouble, right?"
Although Abella didn't understand why Sean was so concerned about her, she remembered Dennis mentioning that if it hadn't been for Sean pleading on her behalf, she would have been in serious trouble.
"Are you Sean? Were you the one who spoke up for me at the auction?"
"You know about that?" Sean's face lit up with joy. "Yeah, I'm Sean. I love standing up for what's right. You don't need to thank me, but if you really want to, you could buy me a cup of coffee."
Before Abella could respond, Sean flashed a bright smile and said, "I know some great places with good deals. How about we exchange contact info? What's your name?"
Seeing that he meant no harm, Abella replied, "Abella."
"That's a beautiful name." Sean handed her his WhatsApp QR code, and after successfully adding her as a friend, he was over the moon.
"You've helped me twice—once at the car race and once at the auction," Abella added.
"You remember all that?" Sean was deeply touched. "It was nothing, really..."
In his excitement, he nervously asked, "Are you free tomorrow?"
Abella thought for a moment and replied, "I don't have anything scheduled for tomorrow."
"Great! I'll send you the address of the coffee shop later. Let's meet up for coffee tomorrow?"
"Sure."
Sean couldn't believe how easily Abella agreed. Afraid she might change her mind, he quickly said, "I'll let you get back to what you were doing. I'll see you tomorrow..."
Having secured a date with the girl he liked, Sean was ecstatic, bumping into two people on his way out.
"Ms. Medici, are you really going to have coffee with him tomorrow?" Theo asked, thinking Sean seemed a bit clumsy, even bumping into people while walking.
"I'm just going to thank him and leave some money."
"So, you're planning to let him stay and have coffee while you just make an appearance and leave?"
"Is there a problem with that?"
"No, your time is precious. Just showing up to say thank you is already very generous."
Sean was so thrilled about his date with Abella that he felt like he was walking on air. Everything seemed brighter, the wind felt refreshing, and the scenery looked beautiful. Every passerby seemed friendly and adorable.
He couldn't resist calling Phillipe to share his joy.
"Phillipe! I did it! I got a date with that girl! She agreed to have coffee with me! You know, she's not only beautiful but has the most amazing name. I bet you've never heard a name as lovely as hers..."
"Here we go again," Phillipe said, climbing the stairs to the plane. "I'm heading to Britonia tonight."
"Really? You have to meet her! She's stunning, has a lovely voice, and is incredibly beautiful!" Sean was so excited that he couldn't help but ask, "Weren't you going to introduce me to your fiancée? How about tomorrow?"
"I need to check if my fiancée is available."
After all, Abella was a busy person, and meeting her wasn't easy.
"Anyway, once you meet her, you'll understand why I'm so crazy about her! She's truly special, unique, and so charming..."
"I have another call coming in," Phillipe interrupted. "Keep enjoying your excitement."
"It's called being madly in love, okay?" Sean was completely immersed in his joy, feeling like the whole world was in love.
After hanging up, Phillipe answered another call from his friend Terry. "What's up?"
"Phillipe, I have a question. When you met your fiancée, did your heart start racing?"
Phillipe was puzzled. "Are you going crazy, too?"
"Crazy? No way! I think I've found my ideal partner! You know, I saw a girl today who was really special. The moment I saw her, I felt like I could spend the rest of my life with her..."
Phillipe climbed the stairs to the plane's lounge area. "I think you and Sean both need to see a psychiatrist."
Terry was confused. "What's Sean got to do with this?"
"He's going crazy just like you."
"He has a crush, too? Do you think God saw you with a fiancée and couldn't bear to see your two friends lonely, so He sent women to save us?"
"You're definitely not well..."
'Isn't love supposed to make people act like children? Why are both of them acting crazy?' Phillipe thought.
"At least you two have something in common now. You can talk about it more often."
And save him from the hassle...
"Phillipe, where are you now? If you have time, I really want to tell you about this girl." Terry added.
"I'm on a plane."
"A plane? Where are you going?"
"Britonia."
"You're coming here? That's great! Let's meet up when you arrive." Terry realized Phillipe was coming to see his fiancée. "Perfect, bring your fiancée tomorrow. I want to see the girl Sean is so crazy about..."
He thought his girl was even more special!
"Seriously, you guys need to see my girl."
Unfortunately, he still didn't know her name, only that she was the famous Abbott.
"Let's see if my fiancée is available first." Phillipe didn't immediately agree, planning to surprise Abella in Britonia.
He had sped up his work to see her sooner.
He hadn't seen her for days, and his mind was filled with thoughts of Abella's radiant smile.
That evening, Abella had just finished her shower and was about to book her flight back home for the next day when she received a call from Phillipe.
"Abella, come to the window for a moment."
Abella, drying her hair, walked to the window and saw Phillipe standing outside.
In the snowy landscape, he wore a camel coat, his tall figure seemingly smiling up at her.
"How long have you been here?" Abella noticed he was wearing the scarf she had given him.
"Just a little while."
In reality, Phillipe had been standing in the cold for quite some time. When he messaged Abella earlier and she didn't respond, he guessed she was in the shower and waited outside.
"Come up, it's cold out there. Room 8801."
"Okay."
Soon, Phillipe was at the door of the presidential suite.
Abella opened the door, seeing him smile tenderly. Despite not seeing him for days, his handsome features were still striking, his eyes soft and bright.
"I missed you."
