Chapter 752 Angered and Left

Bonnie couldn't stop gushing about Phillipe.

David, feeling a bit green-eyed, said, "It's only eight. How 'bout we invite Phillipe over for some hot coffee?"

"Dad, you wanna meet him?" Bonnie barely finished before Vanessa jumped in, "I wanna meet him too."

"Let me hit up Abella, see if Phillipe's free." Bonnie shot a text to Abella.

Abella found out Phillipe was nearby and told him to swing by.

Phillipe's car rolled up to the manor gate just as Henry's car pulled in.

When they spotted each other, their faces turned sour.

Bonnie came out to greet Phillipe and was surprised to see Henry. "You here to see Lola?"

Henry replied, "I texted and called her, but no answer. Heard she had some wine at dinner, so I brought some meds just in case."

Seeing the bottle in his hand, Bonnie's expression softened. "She only had a small glass of whiskey. Come on in."

She hadn't expected Lola to find someone who cared for her so much; it was her good fortune.

"Thanks, Aunt Bonnie." Hearing that Lola had whiskey, Henry felt a bit anxious but stayed polite.

"Phillipe, you come in too." Bonnie's tone was firm but warm.

"Aunt Bonnie," Phillipe greeted her like a gentleman before stepping inside.

"You brought a ton of stuff."

Henry noticed Phillipe was loaded with gift bags and suddenly felt like he'd dropped the ball, focusing only on Lola and forgetting to bring gifts for the elders.

Bonnie said, "From now on, no gifts when you visit."

Henry knew Bonnie was bailing him out and looked at her gratefully. Next time, he'd make sure to bring plenty of gifts to show his respect for Bonnie and Caleb.

"You two hang tight. My Dad wants to have a barbecue in the garden. I'll go get him and bring Abella and Lola over."

"Thanks, Aunt Bonnie," Henry and Phillipe said in unison.

Bonnie had just left when a servant came running after Lola. "Ms. Lola Medici."

"Phillipe, you here to see me?" Lola was totally out of it. She ran up and hugged a big tree. "I know you like me, Phillipe. I like you too."

Phillipe, sitting nearby, stayed silent.

Henry stayed silent.

"Ms. Lola Medici, you're hugging a tree, not Mr. Bourbon," The servant said anxiously, "Please let go. You're not dressed warmly enough. Let me take you back to your room so you don't catch a cold."

"Let go, you witch! Phillipe is mine. Don't even think about seducing him." Lola slapped the servant hard.

The servant's eyes welled up with tears.

"Phillipe, I know you like me. What's so great about Abella? She's so boring and cold. She doesn't care about you, but I do." Lola leaned affectionately against the tree. "I know you'd choose me in the end. What do you say? You like me too? You can't stand Abella's dullness?"

Henry couldn't stay calm any longer. He walked over quickly, grabbed Lola's hand, and said, "You're drunk. I brought you some medicine."

"Let go! Don't yank me around in front of Phillipe. What are you trying to pull?"

Henry's face darkened, and even the servant softly reminded her, "Ms. Lola Medici, the guy in front of you is Mr. Hall, your boyfriend."

"Boyfriend? My only boyfriend is Phillipe! Who does Henry think he is? He doesn't deserve to be my boyfriend."

Henry felt like he'd been punched in the gut.

The servant quickly covered Lola's mouth and whispered, "Ms. Lola Medici, you're drunk. Let me take you back to your room to rest."

"What are you doing? Let go. I want to be with Phillipe. Don't hold me back." Lola struggled like crazy.

"Lola," Henry said hoarsely, "take the medicine first."

Lola glanced at the medicine in his hand and immediately tossed it away. "Who wants your stuff? Get lost and don't mess up my date with Phillipe."

Henry's heart felt like it was being ripped apart.

"Phillipe." Lola pretended to hug the tree and stood on tiptoe to kiss it, so deeply and passionately.

Henry felt a mix of emotions, especially since the real Phillipe was watching nearby.

He picked up the medicine from the ground, thankful it wasn't dirty, and handed it to the servant, saying coldly, "Make sure she takes it. Tell Aunt Bonnie I had to leave and will come back to apologize another time."

"Mr. Hall." The servant wanted to follow, but Lola angrily said, "What are you shouting for? Can't you see I'm kissing Phillipe? Can you shout somewhere else? Do you want me to hit you?"

The servant, still nursing the cheek Lola had slapped, timidly covered her face.

She didn't dare get closer and softly said, "Ms. Lola Medici, the real Mr. Bourbon is to your left."

Lola paused, looked at the tree in front of her, then at the person to her left who looked exactly like Phillipe, realizing it was him.

"Phillipe." Lola ran over joyfully, "You like unique people, so let me show you a trick. I'll break this table with my bare hands."

She extended her hand and struck the small round table hard.

The table didn't break, but her hand almost did.

To make Phillipe like her, she kept hitting the table.

The servant, terrified, quickly went to get Bonnie.

When Bonnie arrived, she saw Lola treating a slender tree like a pole, performing a pole dance for Phillipe.

No matter how much she tried to persuade her, Lola wouldn't listen. Bonnie could only apologize to Phillipe, "Phillipe, you should go home."

Phillipe knew the barbecue wasn't happening tonight. He stood up and said, "Aunt Bonnie, I'll visit another time."

"Alright." After he left, Bonnie picked up a glass of water from the table and unceremoniously splashed it on Lola's face.

The icy water made Lola pause, then she quickly said, "What are you doing? Are you trying to kill me?"

Bonnie said directly, "Take her to her room. I'll go find Abella."

As Lola was being taken to her room, she kept shouting, "I'm innocent. I've been framed. Let go of me, both of you."

Bonnie remained silent.

After a while, Abella heard about Lola's behavior and was speechless.
