Chapter 823 Gift Box
"Thank you, Blake."
"Thank you, Blake, for the gift."
"Thank you for giving us such a special and grand ceremony."
Many couples thanked Blake, and Blake suggested that everyone on stage and in the audience take a group photo together.
Abella and Phillipe also received two tickets. Whether it was intentional or not, their seats were right in the center front, the best two seats.
Exactly the same as where they were sitting today.
Amidst the enthusiastic applause of the fans, the photo was taken, and couples walked off the stage hand in hand. Blake began to sing the fourth and fifth songs.
New guests appeared, and the scene became lively again.
Abella looked at the ring on her ring finger and leaned into Phillipe's ear, asking, "When did you prepare this?"
"A week ago." The noise was too loud, so Phillipe whispered in her ear, "There's something engraved on the back."
"What?" Abella didn't hear clearly.
"There's an engraving on the back." Phillipe took her hand and pointed to the inside of the ring.
Abella seemed to understand, took it off, and saw that the back was engraved with: "Phillipe loves Abella," with a heart symbol at the end.
Abella smiled softly.
Phillipe looked at her lips and also smiled with a doting happiness.
Phillipe put the ring back on her ring finger, interlocked his fingers with hers, and said in her ear, "I want to hold your hand well for the rest of my life."
Abella smiled, her heart softening completely.
"Abella."
"Hmm?" Abella had just turned her face when he kissed her.
Phillipe whispered gently in her ear, "I love you."
Abella smiled softly, still holding his hand tightly, "You already said that on stage."
"I want to tell you every day, until we're old, and even when we're old, I want to hold your hand like this and tell you repeatedly, so you know that my love for you is not just words."
Abella smiled again.
"You didn't say you love me." Phillipe pouted.
Abella looked at him with a smile, "I love you."
"Can't hear you, say it again." Phillipe started to act spoiled.
"If you can't hear, then forget it."
"You just said you love me, don't think about taking it back, you can't say that to anyone else in this life."
Sitting behind them, Elsa was practically dying from the sweetness. She never expected that Phillipe, who was so reserved in private, could be so good at sweet-talking.
One could only say that Abella's reaction was too calm. If it were her, she would have kissed him back long ago.
The business tycoons sitting to Phillipe's left were also stunned into silence.
Their eyes were almost popping out, and their mouths were agape. Although the noise was loud, they couldn't hear what Phillipe was whispering to Abella, but they saw Phillipe occasionally whispering in her ear and occasionally kissing her. The key was that they were holding hands the whole time, as if holding a rare treasure.
Was this still the cold and aloof Phillipe they knew?
It seemed like Phillipe loved that girl more, and the girl was very calm throughout. Her psychological resilience was too strong!
"Today I suddenly realized that Blake is quite handsome." Phillipe rarely praised his friend.
"Isn't it because you're in a good mood and everyone looks pleasing to you?" Abella laughed, "Do you also think the backup dancers are very dedicated and their dance moves are good?"
Phillipe nodded, "Yes, and I think you look especially beautiful and likable today."
Abella couldn't withstand his gaze and looked back at the stage.
"If I were a star, would you look at me like you look at Blake, and come to every concert to see me?" Phillipe asked softly.
"No, I don't have time."
Phillipe looked at her smiling softly, and her straightforward answer made her even more likable.
Seeing that the concert was almost over, Abella leaned into Phillipe's ear and said, "I'm going to the restroom."
"I'll go with you." Phillipe immediately said, wanting to get up.
"You stay here and record the video, I'll be back soon." Abella patted his head, signaling him to wait obediently.
Phillipe leaned into her ear again and said, "If anything happens, call me anytime."
"Okay."
As soon as Abella left, Elsa immediately reached out and touched Phillipe in front of her, "Hey! What a coincidence. I didn't know it was you just now."
Phillipe glanced at her, and his whole aura turned cold, completely different from when he was with Abella.
He hated being touched, especially by the opposite sex.
Almost instantly, Phillipe turned his head away, not even looking at her again, let alone greeting her.
He was in a good mood today. Normally, he would have taken off his clothes and thrown them away.
"Elsa, do you know him?" The noise was too loud, so Catalina had to shout, "Who is he? So rude."
From Catalina's angle, she could only see the back of Phillipe's head. When he turned around for that half-second, he was wearing a mask, and the lights were dim, so Catalina didn't recognize him.
"It's nothing, I mistook him for someone else." Elsa had to cover for herself.
"What did you say?" Catalina shouted, looking at her friend in confusion.
"I said I mistook him for someone else—" At this moment, Blake had just finished singing, and the fans had quieted down, so Elsa's voice carried to the front.
She instantly felt suffocated, too embarrassed.
Even the business tycoons in front turned to look at her, and she felt very awkward.
Abella went backstage, where Brenda was watching the concert. Seeing her, Brenda was a bit surprised, "Abella, what brings you here? Are you hungry? Thirsty? Blake bought a lot of stuff for you, it's all here, I'll get you something to eat."
"I'm here to see you."
"See me?" Brenda was even more surprised, "Oh right, I saw Phillipe propose to you just now, it was so romantic. My boyfriend and I are getting engaged on the 1st of next month, I've already told Blake, you guys have to come!"
"You're getting engaged?" Abella was a bit surprised but still smiled softly, "Congratulations."
