Chapter 667 Impressive

"Yo, you Abella?" Caleb couldn't believe his eyes. The Abella standing in front of him was even more stunning than her photos. Her eyes sparkled with life, and she had this serene, fresh vibe that was just... wow. She kinda looked like Kimberly, but with her own unique twist.

"Are you Uncle Caleb?" Abella asked, her voice soft.

Caleb's face relaxed a bit. "Yeah, that's me."

Abella flashed a smile. "Hey there, Uncle Caleb."

"Hey." Caleb's tone was super gentle, like he was talking to a little kid. "I noticed no one was getting off the plane, so I came to check things out."

He glanced over at Ann, who was sprawled on the couch. "What's up with her?"

"She had a sudden heart attack, but she's good now."

"Hello, Mr. Harris," Anita, who was standing nearby, stepped up and greeted him respectfully. "I'm Anita, a servant of the Medici family. Thank goodness Ms. Medici was here, or the plane would've been toast!"

She quickly filled him in on the earlier chaos. Just from her story, you could tell it was a close call.

Caleb looked back at Abella. She seemed totally chill, like nothing had happened.

Man, this girl had nerves of steel. No wonder she was his niece.

"Private jet pilots gotta get an EKG every two years. Didn't she have one?" Caleb asked Abella.

Abella nodded. "Yeah, her medical reports are on the plane. They showed no heart disease risks, and she was in good health. She gets a yearly check-up, and everything's always been normal."

Caleb frowned. "So what triggered it this time?"

Abella shrugged. "Could be a pulmonary embolism, acute coronary syndrome, pericarditis, who knows. Once we land, she needs a full check-up—blood tests, metabolic indicators, troponin I levels, and a chest CT to rule out a pulmonary embolism. An EKG too."

Caleb was blown away by Abella's medical jargon.

He didn't expect her to be so knowledgeable at such a young age, and definitely didn't expect their first meeting to go down like this.

"I'll arrange for her to be taken to the hospital," Caleb said gently.

"Cool." Abella, noticing the time, started packing up her needles.

Someone carried Ann off the plane, and Abella asked Anita to tag along to make sure Ann didn't wake up alone.

Seeing Abella's thoughtfulness, Caleb's eyes softened again.

A bunch of servants were lined up by the aircraft stairs. Gregory, who was at the front, saw Abella and called out, "Ms. Medici, welcome home! I'm Gregory, the butler. Pleasure to meet you!"

"Hello, Ms. Medici, welcome!" All the servants behind Gregory echoed.

"Hey there," Abella greeted them warmly.

"Abella, got something for you." Caleb took a fancy rectangular gift box from Gregory and handed it to Abella.

The box was just a bit bigger and thicker than a phone, but it looked super fancy.

You could tell right away it was something special.

Abella pulled out a gift box from her backpack. "This is for you, Uncle Caleb."

Caleb was surprised she had a gift for him on their first meeting. When he opened it, he found a piece of white paper the size of a phone.

He looked at Abella, totally puzzled.

Abella grinned. "This is a wish paper. Write down whatever you want, and if I can make it happen, I will."

Caleb had never gotten such a meaningful gift before. He smiled. "My wish is for you to grow up happy and for your grandpa to get better."

"And for yourself?"

'For myself?' Caleb had never really thought about that.

He was already killing it in his career, and in this country, he could pretty much get anything he wanted.

"Uncle Caleb, check under the paper."

Caleb lifted the white paper and found a tiny clear bottle with a single pill inside.

"This is an emergency pill. If you get poisoned or suddenly fall ill, this pill can keep you alive long enough for me to come save you."

For someone like Caleb, there were definitely people out there who'd want to harm him. Emergencies were bound to happen. Regular stuff he could buy easily, but sometimes life was priceless.

"Wow, your gift is pretty special and thoughtful." Caleb chuckled. "Feels like I'm getting the better end of the deal with both the wish paper and this life-saving pill."

"Uncle Caleb's gift is even more valuable."

"Oh yeah? How so?"

"A box like this weighs about 5 pounds, but with the gift inside, it weighs less than 10 pounds. So, it must be something like paper."

Caleb looked at her, impressed. "Keep going."

"Given your status, it could be a blank check, a high-value bank card, or a key to a villa. But a blank check might make me feel awkward, and a villa key seems less likely. So, I'm guessing it's a bank card?"

Only a bank card would need such a small box.

Gregory, standing nearby, couldn't help but admire Abella's smarts. Caleb had discussed these three options with him recently, and he had suggested giving Abella a high-value allowance card so she could buy whatever she wanted.

Caleb was amused. "Abella, you nailed it. Does that mean my gift is too boring?"

"No way, this gift shows how much you care about me."

"Oh?"

"You could've given me a dress or a necklace, but you were worried I might not like what you picked, so you gave me a card instead. Thanks, Uncle Caleb."

Caleb was thoroughly entertained. 'How could Abella be so endearing?'

Meanwhile, after calming down, Lola remembered Kimberly's icy attitude last night and decided to go smooth things over.

No matter what, she had to keep her status as the Medici family's heiress.

It was already 7:30 AM in Libertya. Kimberly was sitting at the dining table, about to have breakfast, when she got a call.

Kimberly was shocked. "What did you say? Ann had a heart attack last night? Abella was flying the plane?"

Beckett, who was next to her, was so startled he spilled his porridge.

"Is Abella okay?" Kimberly was terrified and instinctively gripped her phone tightly.

Beckett also leaned in to listen.

After hearing the other side, Kimberly finally felt relieved. "You scared the heck out of me! I'm so glad she's okay, so glad."

She didn't expect Abella to know how to fly a plane.

Her eyes welled up with tears.

She thought, 'Thank goodness Abella can fly, or the consequences would have been unimaginable.'
