Chapter 733 Outshined

"You still got the nerve to laugh!" Lola snapped, looking all cute and mad.

Henry tried to hold back his grin, thinking she was adorable when she was ticked off. "My bad, my photo game is weak. I'll step it up next time."

"Good! You should see how other boyfriends take pics for their girlfriends!"

Henry didn't catch the complaint; he just heard "boyfriend" and "girlfriend."

'Wait, does Lola already see me as her boyfriend? And herself as my girlfriend?' That thought made Henry's smile even sweeter.

They left too late, so by the time they hit the riverside, all the boats were taken.

Other folks had snagged their tickets weeks in advance. Lola was surprised to learn that boat tickets were sold by the bow, midsection, and stern.

"How about we share a boat with someone?" Henry asked the staff.

"Nope, all full. Unless someone sells you their seats, there are no empty boats or seats."

Henry didn't expect the dinner cruise to be such a hot ticket. He glanced at Lola, not wanting to let her down, and managed to score two bow tickets at a steep price after haggling with some tourists.

But Lola wasn't thrilled about cramming onto a boat with so many people. The crowd included regular couples, social media influencers, and even some families with kids.

For someone like her, mingling with the masses felt like a downgrade.

"Sorry for the hassle." Henry wasn't clued in on the local scene, but at least the dinner wasn't too shabby, so Lola couldn't complain too much.

Lola was a bit miffed by the noisy crowd, but when Henry snapped a pic of her, she noticed it was just her, the dinner, and the scenery—no one else in the frame.

"How's this?" Henry tried to lift her spirits.

"Better." Lola flipped through seven or eight photos and finally felt satisfied, her mood perking up.

But her good mood didn't last. She spotted a fancy glass boat nearby, all decked out with lights and decor, way fancier than theirs.

"Wonder what that guy's deal is to book a whole boat."

"He must be loaded, and look at all those roses."

"Super romantic."

Hearing others gush about someone else, Lola's face darkened, especially when the boat passed by, and she saw Phillipe feeding Abella dinner!

He looked at her like she was the most precious thing in the world, and Abella smiled back, her eyes only for him.

"That guy is so young and handsome! He looks like he's in his twenties!"

"And that girl is gorgeous! Oh, aren't they the couple who booked the top floor of SkySteel Spire earlier?"

"Yeah, that's them! This guy really spoils his girlfriend!"

"So lucky."

Some tourists on the boat couldn't help but cheer, "May your love story be a beautiful one!"

Through the glass, Abella vaguely heard their cheers, congratulating Phillipe and her love?

Phillipe looked at Abella with a grin. "Will you marry me?"

A cute girl in the crowd shouted, "If you don't marry him, I will!"

Abella couldn't help but laugh.

With all the cheers from the other side, Phillipe sent a quick text and booked the entire dinner on that boat.

The folks on that boat were stunned for a second when the captain announced it, then they went wild, wishing them a long and happy life together.

Phillipe looked at Abella with so much love. "They're more excited than I am."

The cheers kept coming.

Lola's face got darker and darker. 'Why are they always stealing the spotlight!'

The basic dinner, the noisy little boat, and Henry, who couldn't hold a candle to Phillipe in any way.

It all made her super resentful!

Why!

Why was Abella always happier than her!

"Don't mind them," Henry noticed her mood and gently coaxed, "Next time, I'll plan something better for you."

Lola's mood hit rock bottom, and she didn't want to talk.

Just then, another glass boat slowly approached them. The violinist on board played beautiful music, his gentle gaze falling on Lola like he was performing just for her.

Lola was a bit surprised. 'Could this be a surprise Henry set up?'

The violinist's gaze made Lola more certain that this must be from Henry!

"Who set up this surprise?"

"Is it the couple at the bow? So romantic."

"I heard booking a boat and hiring a violinist costs around twenty grand."

"So pricey?"

Lola thought she finally had a chance to show off. She smiled and nodded at the violinist, but the next second, the violinist's gaze shifted to other tourists on the boat, nodding one by one. The boat passed by them and slowly approached Phillipe's boat.

Lola's smile froze, totally in disbelief. 'Could that also be a surprise Phillipe set up for Abella?'

"Lola, do you like listening to the violin?" Henry's words made Lola's heart sink. It wasn't from him after all.

The glass boat and Phillipe's boat sailed side by side, with the violinist playing a beautiful melody for Abella.

Many tourists were enchanted by the wonderful music, lingering and not wanting to leave.

"How many surprises did you plan?" Abella was surprised and couldn't help but say, "Is it tiring to go out with me?"

He had to plan ahead, think of ways to surprise her, and make her happy.

"How is it tiring? With you by my side, I'm more than happy." Phillipe held her close, listening to the melodious music together. "I wish time would slow down."

So he could spend more time with her.

"How was dinner tonight?" Phillipe asked softly.

"Did you hire a chef to cook just for me again?" Abella looked up and said, "You don't have to go to so much trouble in the future. When we go out, even if we just eat something by the roadside, it's fine. The most important thing is that we're together."

Phillipe intertwined his fingers with hers, looking at her with so much love. "I just don't want you to have any regrets."
