Chapter 816 Crowded
Many people were stunned by her actions.
"Is she new here? How dare she sit next to Mr. Bourbon ."
"Doesn't everyone know that Mr. Bourbon doesn't like to be disturbed while eating?"
Although they weren't dining at the same table, she was seated to Phillipe's left, less than two feet away from him.
Phillipe didn't like anyone getting close, especially since he could tell from Annette's nervous eating that she had a specific purpose.
Annette noticed Phillipe's gaze and thought she had successfully caught his attention. She lowered her head, pretending to accidentally spill soup on her clothes, then turned and politely asked, "Hi, do you have a napkin? I accidentally spilled soup on my clothes."
Phillipe's gaze fell on her. Did she really think he couldn't see through such a small trick?
"Are you a new employee? I've never seen you before. Hi, I'm Annette Glenn from the administrative department. Which department are you from?" Annette greeted.
"Annette, is it?" At this moment, Abella returned and sat to Phillipe's right. Phillipe's tone softened, "Finished with your call?"
"Yes." Abella's gaze fell on Annette. "On your first day, didn't your administrative director give you a booklet? The company's structure, main business, and department heads should all be in there. If not, then the administrative director has failed in their duties."
Annette was taken aback by Abella's sudden appearance and strong presence. "And you are?"
"My wife," Phillipe introduced.
Annette's expression was beyond shock. When did Phillipe get married?
She was doomed; she never expected Phillipe to already have a wife.
"Focus on your work from now on and stop daydreaming," Abella said.
Hearing Abella's words, Annette shamefully said, "Yes, Mrs. Bourbon."
She stood up, about to take her tray away, when Abella asked, "Not eating anymore?"
"It's a bit hot here; I'll eat over there." She never expected Phillipe's wife to have such a strong presence and hurriedly left with her tray.
Abella saw Phillipe looking at her with a half-smile and nonchalantly said, "What are you looking at? Eat your food."
Phillipe couldn't help but laugh and served her some food. "Watching my wife chase away those women."
"You seem to enjoy it?"
"Did you scare her off because you knew I was going to fire her, so she could keep her job?" Phillipe knew Abella's intentions.
"She's young; it's normal to have fantasies."
Phillipe gently tapped her nose. "How old are you?"
"A good employee is worth keeping."
"How do you know she's a good employee?"
"Didn't you say this subsidiary is doing well in all aspects and the employees work hard?"
Phillipe looked at her dotingly, surprised that she remembered his words.
Many employees were stunned by this scene, not expecting Phillipe to be like this in private!
"If only you could serve me some food," Phillipe hinted.
Abella fed Phillipe some roasted potatoes, and then he cheekily said, "It would be even better if you fed me some chicken."
Abella remained silent.
The two of them chatted and laughed as they finished their meal, and then Phillipe held her hand and left.
After they left, many employees started gossiping.
"Is Mr. Bourbon really that young? He looks just over twenty, and he's so handsome!"
"Even more handsome than in the company brochure!"
"That girl is also very pretty. Does anyone know who she is?"
"Isn't it said that the Bourbon family and the Medici family have a marriage arrangement, and Mr. Bourbon will marry the Medici family's daughter? That girl doesn't look like Lola Medici. Does anyone know what's going on?"
"No idea. How would we know about Mr. Bourbon's private life?"
As Phillipe held Abella's hand and left the company, a few receptionists secretly observed their backs and excitedly said, "Mr. Bourbon is so handsome!"
"That girl is so pretty; they look perfect together."
Abella's looks had never been rated low.
"I always wondered who could match Mr. Bourbon's looks, and today I finally have an answer."
"They've done a great job keeping it a secret; there's no information online at all!"
"Should we post their photos online? I'm sure many people would think they look great together!"
"Do you think you're the only one with that idea? Why hasn't anyone else posted? There's a reason for that."
"Yeah, better not lose our jobs over this."
As Phillipe held Abella's hand on the way to the concert, their striking looks attracted many stares.
Many people took out their phones to secretly take pictures of them.
"I brought masks; let's each wear one," Abella said calmly, not wanting to attract attention.
Phillipe listened to her and first helped her put on a mask, then put one on himself. Even with just their eyes showing, they still looked exceptionally attractive.
Some people still took pictures of them, and Abella was at a loss.
Some even speculated that they might be celebrities secretly attending Blake's concert to support him.
By 7 PM, the stadium was already packed. Phillipe held Abella close, worried that the crowd might hurt her.
From such a close distance, Abella could see Phillipe's concerned and caring expression. He had a refreshing and pleasant scent.
As more people crowded in, Phillipe used his hand to keep the crowd at bay and softly said, "Gate F is over there."
"Okay." Abella contacted Blake's assistant, who told them to enter through Gate F.
Even though it was a side entrance, there were still many fans and a few security guards.
When they finally reached Gate F, the security guards recognized them from their eyes alone, as the assistant had shown them pictures of the two important guests to let through.
Abella showed the electronic tickets on her phone, but the security guards barely glanced at them and quickly waved them in, worried that fans might rush in if the door stayed open too long.
Many fans saw Abella showing her ticket and assumed she was just another fan, but one who could enter early through Gate F, and they looked at her with envy and curiosity.
Some even asked about their identities and if they knew the staff, hoping they could help deliver gifts to Blake.
