Chapter 494 Another Big Gift
"Alright, let's eat first." Winston accompanied her downstairs, but before they reached the dining table, they suddenly heard the sound of a plane landing outside the castle.
One of the subordinates came running in, looking as if they were facing a great enemy. "Ms. Medici, the leader of the C Gang, is here! It looks like he's landing on our helipad. Should we stop him?"
Although the two gangs had long since formed an alliance, the castle was still the boss's private domain. For the other party to land a plane on the boss's private helipad without any prior notice seemed a bit too much.
"Let him land." Abella's eyes softened a bit. "Send someone to greet him."
The subordinate thought they had misheard and was stunned for a second. But upon receiving the boss's pressuring gaze, they quickly complied.
Oh my God, the boss seemed to have changed!
She used to be fearless, never giving face to anyone. Why was she being so courteous to The Mafia this time? Although The Mafia was quite formidable, there was no need to be this accommodating.
The subordinate couldn't understand it. The boss seemed to have become timid, but he didn't dare say anything and could only lead people to greet them.
Winston noticed that Abella, who had been hungry and was about to eat, turned and walked towards the helipad as soon as she heard Phillipe was there. She didn't even try to hide her anticipation for someone.
Winston could only follow Abella's steps to welcome Phillipe.
After the plane landed and the door opened, a tall, stern man appeared before everyone. His eyes were clear and cold, and his demeanor was noble. Just standing there, he could make it hard for those below to breathe.
Behind him stood Gabriel.
Gabriel thought, 'Mr. Bourbon, you wanted to see Ms. Medici yourself. Why drag me along? I want to go home; I want a vacation!'
The subordinates of Abella were all intimidated by this man. After all, in Triangle City, the deeds of The Mafia under his leadership were legendary.
As Phillipe slowly descended the steps, they nervously greeted him, "Mr. Bourbon."
This was Phillipe's first visit to their castle and in such a dominant manner. They couldn't quite grasp his intentions.
"Where's your boss?" Gabriel worried that Abella might be investigating the truth alone, so he asked when he didn't see her.
"Our boss..." The subordinate hadn't finished speaking when they saw Abella walking over.
Abella's aura was cold and fierce, but the wind blowing through her hair gave her a touch of feminine charm.
When Phillipe saw the girl, his dark eyes filled with endless tenderness and affection. He walked towards Abella and pulled her into his arms.
Having not seen her for a few days, Phillipe deepened the embrace.
The subordinates around them were all stunned. What was going on?
The leader of The Mafia was being affectionate with their boss right in front of them.
And Abella didn't kick him in the kidneys?
She even wrapped her arms around his waist and looked up with her clear eyes, asking, "Didn't you say you'd be here by noon?"
The subordinates' mouths were so wide open that you could fit two eggs in them.
Could it be that their boss was in love?
And the object of her affection was the leader of The Mafia?
This was too shocking.
If the news got out, it would astonish many.
"Something came up last minute, so I'm late," Phillipe said softly, stroking the girl's soft hair. "Have you been eating well lately?"
"Yes."
As soon as she finished speaking, her stomach growled.
Abella fell silent.
"Are you lying?" Phillipe chuckled indulgently, his eyes filled with happiness and contentment. "Are you waiting for me?"
Gabriel couldn't help but interject, "Mr. Bourbon was about to leave F Country after finishing some business, but then he heard that a local fairy tale-themed amusement park was struggling financially. So, he bought it to give to you as a gift."
The amusement park was particularly dreamy, with a large area and beautiful decorations. The high ticket prices meant that not many people visited, and over time, it couldn't sustain itself.
The subordinates were stunned. Not a small piece of jewelry or a few clothes, but an entire amusement park?
The leader of The Mafia was incredibly generous in his courtship.
"We haven't decided on a name for the new park yet. How about you name it?" Phillipe's fingers gently caressed Abella's delicate face. Her beautiful features were etched deeply in his mind.
He had missed her for several days and finally got to touch her.
Abella's lips curled into a smile, her eyes clear and lively. "Sure."
"Let's have something to eat first." Phillipe then noticed Winston standing nearby. "Winston, how's your injury?"
He had heard from his subordinates in Florida that Winston had been injured while escorting Nicole's parents to safety.
"It's nothing, just a minor injury." Winston walked alongside them. "Abella told me you've been helping me investigate Nicole's whereabouts and found out she was in Triangle City a month ago."
Such crucial information—if not for Phillipe, he might never have found Triangle City in his lifetime.
He used to harbor some "hostility" towards Phillipe, not wanting Abella to be taken away so soon after he had finally found her. He also worried that Phillipe might not be serious about Abella.
But after several interactions, he realized that Phillipe's eyes were only for Abella.
"Unfortunately, we couldn't find more useful clues," Phillipe said; his people had only managed to uncover that much.
"It's already very helpful," Winston said, patting Phillipe's shoulder in reassurance. "Even though we don't know where Nicole is hiding, Triangle City isn't that big. If we keep looking, we'll find her eventually. I feel a bit guilty for dragging you two into this."
"You're mistaken if you think that way. Your problem is our problem. Besides, we know this place well. You're safer here than anywhere else."
After Phillipe finished speaking, Abella added, "If you were to go there alone, that would be truly dangerous."
Triangle City was full of gangs, and an outsider would quickly attract attention and be bullied.
But with The Mafia and the A Gang backing him, it was a different story.
"Mr. Bourbon, should we bring up the other gift for Ms. Medici?" Gabriel suddenly asked.
Abella and Winston were both surprised. Another gift?
Phillipe looked at Abella, his tone full of indulgence. "Didn't Hellground Base want to find you? I heard from my people that they've been at odds with the A Gang and recently demanded you go to their territory within three days?"
