Linda's words caused a stir in the audience. Everyone, including Stella and Adeline, looked at Linda's face in shock.

However, the photos Linda released shattered this illusion. These new images faithfully depicted the events of that night.
Together, they unveiled the truth: Jasper's interest lay in the necklace around Adeline's neck, and he sought to claim it.
In response, Adeline instinctively shielded the necklace with her hand. The photos captured a heated exchange between the two, centered around this necklace.
The crowd was stunned. Where was the scenario of a female employee seducing her male boss? Instead, it depicted a male boss attempting to appropriate a cherished item from his female counterpart.
As the photos reached the last one, it showed Jasper sat on the sofa, playing with the necklace he had snatched from Adeline's neck. Across from him, Adeline looked angry and helpless.
"These are all the photos." Linda smiled at the reporters and said, "This is the truth."
A reporter challenged her statement, asking, "But Linda, the photos you released before were deliberately angled. And you told everyone that Adeline and Jasper's relationship was inappropriate, how do you explain that?"
Linda took a deep breath and laughed. "My explanation for this is that I was being threatened. I will reveal who threatened me later. I can't tell you the whole story behind this today because I still need to confirm some things."
After her speech, she rose with a smile, gracefully bowed to the camera, and uttered, "I apologize to everyone for my mistakes yesterday and to my friend Adeline. I've been confrontational with you from the start, always singling you out, yet you not only bear no grudge but also extend forgiveness and friendship to me. It truly warms my heart."
The woman stood on the stage, smiling as brightly as she did at her coming-of-age ceremony years ago as she continued, "The reason I chose to hold the press conference here is because this is the auditorium where I once held my coming-of-age ceremony.
"Back then, my best friend and I made vows here, saying that when we grew up, we should take on the responsibilities of adults. I have done that."
Adeline sat in the audience, watching Linda, her hands clenched into fists. She didn't know what Linda was thinking now.
But Adeline was truly moved at this moment. She never expected that after so many years of no contact... Linda could still remember the vows they made back then.
She closed her eyes.
