Chapter 679 It's Rex

Jasper's words silenced the room instantly.

Everyone stared at Jasper in shock.

Nathan looked at Jasper and couldn't help but laugh out loud.

He glared at Jasper coldly, "You brought a murderer here to send me to hell? I haven't even sent you to hell yet!"

He pointed a finger at Jasper as his voice filled with anger and disdain, "You two, one killed my most respected mother, and the other desecrated her body by insisting on an autopsy! You did all this because my mother, on her deathbed, said she wanted to split the Foster family assets between me and Rex, right?"

"Greedy for the Foster family assets, you killed her before she could finalize her will. Killing her wasn't enough; you had to dissect her, leaving her without a whole body. Jasper, you have the nerve to talk to me about hell! If anyone's going to hell, it's you two, working together with your vile hearts!"

Nathan's words caused an uproar among the audience.

Everyone knew Adeline had committed murder and that Jasper had demanded an autopsy, agreeing to Nathan's terms to transfer shares if no evidence was found.

But this was the first time they heard that Jasper and Adeline did all this to monopolize the Foster family fortune.

A woman's voice softly broke the silence in the room, "How terrifying... Some people will do anything for money."

The speaker was a young girl, seemingly a reporter. Her voice was loud enough for everyone to hear clearly.

On stage, Jasper smiled faintly and took the microphone, "This young lady is right. Some people will do anything for money."

He turned his cold gaze to Nathan, "Even orchestrating the murder of their own mother through their son. Isn't that terrifying?"

Jasper's words made Nathan's face turn dark.

He frowned and lowered his voice, "What nonsense are you spouting!"

"Nonsense?" Jasper sneered and clapped his hands towards the door.

Ryan walked up to the stage with a laptop, followed by Tim and Tom carrying stacks of documents.

Once on stage, Ryan turned on the projector.

Jasper picked up the documents, "Originally, I planned to have my team print these documents into booklets for everyone here, so each person could see what kind of man Mr. Nathan Foster really is."

He continued, "But I didn't expect Mr. Nathan Foster to be so excited about getting the shares that he invited all the city's reporters and celebrities here. In such a short time, I couldn't print that many booklets, so you'll have to settle for the projection on the big screen. Of course, if anyone doubts the authenticity of these documents, feel free to come up and review the originals."

As Jasper finished speaking, Ryan nodded and the projection was ready.

Jasper calmly instructed Ryan to display the first slide.

"To understand Mr. Nathan Foster's life, we need to start from when he was twenty. My grandmother, Lily Forster, had a daughter before marrying my grandfather, my aunt Esther Forster, who was only three years older than Mr. Nathan Foster. She took care of him from a young age but was envied by him for her excellence. One year, she disappeared after saving Mr. Nathan Foster, and when she returned, she was already dead. And Mr. Nathan Foster never once mourned his sister."

Nathan stood in the corner of the stage, glaring at Jasper with clenched fists. "Why should I mourn a woman who brought shame by getting pregnant out of wedlock?"

Jasper shot him a cold glance and continued, "Mr. Nathan Foster, you met my mother Patricia when you were twenty-three and married her the same year. But the following year, when my mother was pregnant with me, you were already with your current wife, Brenda. Together, they faked my mother's death during childbirth, but in reality, you bribed the doctor to kill my mother, Patricia."

Jasper pointed to the testimony of the doctor who had received gifts from Nathan.

The room erupted in shock.

Everyone in Radiance Springs who was old enough knew about Jasper's mother, Patricia.

She wasn't from Radiance Springs, but she was once the most beautiful bride in town.

After marriage, she helped Nathan with many things and even started her own company.

Even after her death, people still spoke of her with regret, believing Jasper inherited his business acumen from her.

But no one ever knew that Patricia's death was a conspiracy between Nathan and Brenda!

Facing the murmurs and hostile stares from the audience, Nathan frowned, "You think a single doctor's testimony can prove I framed Patricia?"

"Of course not." Jasper smirked and clicked on another photo.

The surveillance footage showed a young Brenda, who was wearing a nurse's uniform, walking out of Patricia's hospital room.

Jasper turned his icy gaze to Nathan, "Mr. Nathan Foster, why was Brenda, who wasn't a nurse and had no nursing certification, in my mother's delivery room on the day she died?"

Nathan was stunned.

He remembered waiting for Brenda at home on the day Patricia died, but she never showed up.

Later, Brenda said she was busy.

He never knew Brenda had visited Patricia's hospital room on the day she died.

What did she mean by that? Did she think he wouldn't let Patricia die, so she went to monitor her? Ridiculous!

Seeing Nathan speechless, Jasper chuckled and continued to scroll through the documents, moving on to Lily's death.

He showed a photo of a dirty piece of gauze stained with blood.

"Actually, during the autopsy of my grandmother's stomach today, the forensic pathologist did find something useful. This is a piece of gauze."

Nathan glanced coldly at the screen.

The gauze was so dirty it was no longer white.

He rolled his eyes and sneered, "What can a piece of gauze prove? "Are you going to claim this gauze can exonerate Adeline and accuse me and Rex of murder?"

Jasper smirked, "Exactly."

He glanced at Rex's right wrist.

Sure enough, the gauze on Rex's right wrist was missing a piece, replaced with a different material.

Jasper looked at the missing piece of gauze, his eyes dark.

How did Lily muster the strength to bite off the gauze from his wrist and swallow it?

He could almost imagine Lily's relief after swallowing the gauze.

She did it hoping the forensic pathologist could speak for her after her death.

And Jasper didn't let her down.

He took a deep breath and continued, "This gauze is made of a special material. In all of Radiance Springs, only one person has used it."

He turned to Rex, who was trying to hide his right wrist behind him.

"The person who used this gauze is Rex."
