Chapter 638 Molly Has a Way

Molly was getting a headache from Rex's shouting. She glared at him and snapped, "Why are you yelling? Get out!"

Rex, feeling wronged, clutched the sheet to cover himself.

"Why is it you? I clearly smelled Adeline's scent and saw her clothes yesterday, so I..."

Molly snorted, "And you used the same cologne and wore the same clothes as Jasper! If you hadn't copied Jasper, would I have made a mistake?"

After saying that, she picked up all of Rex's clothes and socks from the floor, stuffed them into his arms, and pushed him out the door.

"Get out!" With her angry shout, the door slammed shut.

Staring at the closed door, Rex sighed, dressed himself reluctantly, and left Blue Bay.

After He left, Molly grew angrier the more she thought about it.

She furiously threw everything she could smash onto the floor.

How could this happen! She had everything planned out! How could it be Rex!

Since it was Rex with her last night, then Jasper's medication must have been relieved by Adeline!

Thinking of this made her grit her teeth in anger!

The night she had meticulously planned ended up benefiting Jasper and Adeline, who hadn't seen each other or been close recently!

Her anger had no outlet. After taking a shower, she still felt agitated, so she left her room, ordered Alice to clean it, and headed to the kitchen to get some ice water.

As soon as she entered the kitchen, she saw Adeline heating milk.

Seeing her, Adeline picked up the milk and started to leave.

Molly squinted and quickly blocked Adeline with her hands. "Are you feeling smug?"

Adeline, holding the milk, glanced at her indifferently, "Smug about what?"

"Wasn't Jasper with you last night?" Molly asked.

Adeline shot her a curious glance, "I had a high fever last night and went to the hospital. Why would I be with Jasper? You're crazy. Just because you treasure Jasper doesn't mean I do too."

With that, Adeline strode upstairs.

Molly frowned at Adeline's back, "Did you really go to the hospital last night?"

Without turning back, Adeline continued upstairs. "Why do you care?"

Molly stared at her back, about to say something when Alice came out of Molly's room with a pile of broken glass.

Hearing that, Alice sighed lightly. "Miss Wilson did go to the hospital last night. She told me she had a high fever, so I had the driver take her."

She blinked at Molly, "Miss Collins, did something happen?"

Alice's words made Molly frown deeply.

Adeline went to the hospital last night?

She quickly grabbed Alice to ask, "What about Jasper?"

"Mr. Foster hasn't left his room yet. Maybe he's not feeling well; I'm not sure." Alice replied.

Molly froze, her eyes widening in shock.

The next second, she hurried upstairs and pushed open Jasper's door.

He was still sleeping soundly in his bedroom. He seemed to have had a rough night too, with water stains from melted ice all over the room.

Jasper's long arms and legs were sticking out from under the covers, his brows furrowed in sleep.

Clearly, he had slept alone last night.

Molly helplessly patted her forehead.

Since Jasper had slept in his own room last night, why hadn't she found him and ended up having sex with Rex?

It was all because of that damn power outage!

Molly took a deep breath, quietly cleaned up the water stains, then took off her nightgown and lay down on his bed.

After doing all this, she reached out and hugged Jasper from behind.

Out of Molly's sight, Jasper's eyes slowly fluttered open.

He looked at the arms hugging him, a flash of disgust in his eyes.

But remembering what Adeline had said to him last night, Jasper let out a barely noticeable sigh, pretended to wake up, and turned to the arms around him.

He frowned, a mix of disgust and surprise in his eyes as he looked at Molly behind him.

She quickly bit her lip delicately, looking at Jasper with innocence and fear. "Jasper, you're awake? You hurt me so much last night."

Jasper squinted, "I remember having a fever and sleeping alone last night. When did you come?"

Molly bit her lip timidly, her voice shy. "I was worried you wouldn't sleep well, so I came to check on you. I didn't expect you to pull me into bed."

Molly lowered her head, silently unbuttoning her shirt to reveal her kiss-marked collarbone. "You did this. Jasper, you hurt me so much last night."

Molly sniffled, speaking with a wronged tone. "I always thought you really hated me like you said, but I didn't expect you're so rough with me. Don't worry; Jasper, I won't make you take responsibility."

She sighed, "You've never taken responsibility for me anyway."

Jasper watched her performance quietly.

When she finished, he took a deep breath, wanting to say something but finding himself unable to. Finally, he sighed, "Molly, leave me alone for a bit."

Molly paused and thought, 'Jasper actually called me Molly!'

Since her return, Jasper hadn't even wanted to say her full name!

Now he was willing to call her "Molly"!

Men often let their baser instincts dictate their actions.

Because she had sex with him, Jasper's attitude towards her changed so quickly!

Molly nodded and left, feeling regretful as she walked.

If she had really slept with Jasper, she wouldn't have to be so cautious now.

The door closed.

Jasper took a deep breath, leaning tiredly against the headboard.

Originally, he had been quite happy to find Adeline in his arms this morning.

But he hadn't anticipated her first words upon waking would be to tell him to make it real with Molly.

He closed his eyes, Adeline's morning words echoing in his ears. "I overheard Molly talking to her accomplice. Actually, Grandma's illness isn't incurable. Molly knows a way to treat it."
