Chapter 657 Are You Pregnant?
Molly sighed, "This antidote can only save one person."
After speaking, she glanced at Jasper, then at the pale faces of the people in front of her.
"I didn't take out the antidote is because I haven't decided whether to use it to save Adeline or Mrs. Lily Foster."
Molly's words made the entire Blue Bay fall silent.
Bennett, sitting in his wheelchair, was stunned. He turned to Molly, then at Jasper. "Only save one person?"
Bennett had always known that Molly had the antidote, but he didn't know that it could only save one person.
One was the highly respected Lily, Jasper's most important relative.
The other was their beloved and indispensable Adeline.
The three kids were silent.
Mia opened her mouth but didn't know what to say for a moment.
Everyone's eyes were on Jasper.
At that moment, choosing between Lily and Adeline seemed impossibly difficult.
Molly looked at Jasper's troubled expression with satisfaction and couldn't help but add fuel to the fire.
"Jasper, I know you're in a difficult position, which is why I haven't mentioned that I have the antidote. Both of these women are very important to you. One is the grandmother who raised you, and the other is Adeline, who gave you three children. I know you must be struggling, so..."
Jasper closed his eyes and sighed deeply, "Molly, let's find a time to give Grandma the antidote."
After speaking, a complex emotion appeared on Jasper's face.
Although he knew that Adeline was pretending to be sick.
He also knew that everything Adeline did was for this moment.
But he couldn't feel happy at all.
What appeared before his eyes was Adeline's weak figure lying in the hospital room.
Actually, he could have found another way.
Molly really couldn't do anything to him.
At worst, after making Molly pay the price, he could search her belongings and would eventually find it.
"Molly is very cunning. What if we make her pay the price, and she doesn't tell us, and we can't find it. Jasper, Grandma's body can't wait any longer; it can't be tormented anymore."
Jasper closed his eyes, and Adeline's previous words echoed in his ears.
"It's just me pretending to be sick, watching you and her being affectionate for a while; I can handle it. I'm happy to make a sacrifice for the grandmother who raised you. Stop being stubborn, let's do it this way, okay?"
Jasper opened his eyes. In front of him were Mia and the three children, with eyes full of anger and helplessness.
He knew that, to them, making this choice was equivalent to giving up on Adeline.
But it didn't matter anymore.
Adeline could endure so much pain to save Lily.
He could endure some misunderstandings from others for Lily, and it was no big deal.
Jasper's answer made Molly ecstatic. She excitedly grabbed his hand, "Jasper, are you certain about giving the antidote to Mrs. Lily Foster?"
Jasper frowned and nodded. "Yes."
"Alright then!" Molly was overjoyed.
She took a deep breath, "Actually, the antidote isn't with me, I need my friend to send it over."
She calculated the time, "It should take about three days."
After speaking, Molly hooked her arm around Jasper's, her big eyes fixed on him.
"Although the real antidote will arrive in three days, I have some medicine with me that can alleviate the symptoms. Shall we go to the hospital and give it to Mrs. Lily Foster later?"
Jasper was silent for a moment, then smiled and reached out to rub Molly's head, "Okay."
The scene in front of them stung Mia and the three children's eyes.
The four of them exchanged glances, wanting to say something but unable to.
They couldn't blame Jasper for wanting to treat Lily, could they?
After a long silence, Mia spoke hoarsely, "Bennett, let's take you back to the hospital, Sebastian is very worried about you."
Bennett gave Jasper a deep look, then said nothing and wheeled himself away.
As he left, Lauren and Blake quickly followed.
Finally, Mia took a deep breath and looked at Jasper, who was holding Molly.
"Adeline told me not to argue with you. From today on, I won't say anything anymore. But I don't believe that Adeline's illness can't be cured without Molly's antidote. I will find a way."
After speaking, she turned and left coldly.
Jasper watched her leave, his eyes deepening.
Molly continued to cling to his arm, her voice soft and sweet. "Jasper, do you think we should tell Mrs. Lily Foster the good news that I'm pregnant? Let her be happy too."
Jasper frowned and looked at Molly, "Do you think she would be happy to know this news? She already knows you're from the Phoebe family."
Molly's smile froze instantly.
After speaking, Jasper stood up, "When the antidote arrives and completely cures Grandma, she will accept you. Then it won't be too late to tell her."
Half an hour later, Jasper appeared at the hospital with Molly.
Hearing that Jasper had brought a small amount of the antidote, Sharon had been waiting at Lily's hospital room door for a long time.
Jasper, with Molly holding his arm, came out of the elevator, and a layer of coldness flashed in his eyes when he saw Sharon.
Sharon wasn't stupid; she knew that the medicine she gave Adeline to fake her illness was too strong today, so she didn't dare to show up.
Now she was waiting by Lily's side, knowing that he wouldn't lose his temper with her in front of Molly.
But even so, Jasper's gaze made Sharon shiver.
She turned her face away from Jasper and smiled at Molly, "I heard you have the antidote?"
"Just a little, the real antidote is on its way." Molly gently handed the small medicine bottle to Sharon.
Sharon took a deep breath, didn't even dare to greet Jasper, and took the small bottle into the room.
The doctors in the room began to get busy.
Jasper and Molly stood outside waiting.
"Jasper, I'm so tired." Seeing no chairs around, Molly pretended to be weak and leaned on him.
"I don't know why, but I've been feeling especially tired these days. Could it be an early pregnancy symptom?"
She leaned on Jasper with a shy face, "Even though the baby is less than a week old, I can already sense the beginnings of a new life taking root."
As soon as Molly finished speaking, a sound of something heavy falling came from a distance.
Jasper instinctively frowned and looked over.
At the elevator entrance, Rex had dropped the fruit basket he was holding.
At this moment, he was staring at Molly in shock, his eyes wide open. "You're pregnant?"
