Chapter 694 Why Did You Come Back So Soon

Jasper clutched the badge tightly, his eyes darkening with intensity.

If he remembered right, the guy who spoke up at Nathan's stock transfer party not too long ago was Oliver's son from the Phoebe family!

Oliver had been in Radiance Springs for a while now. During that time, he hadn't contacted Molly or done anything to mess with the Foster family.

Jasper had thought Oliver was genuinely in Radiance Springs to find the woman from his past, just like he said.

Jasper never would have guessed. Even after the Phoebe family killed Lily, they still didn't leave him alone. They even resorted to kidnapping Adeline!

He stared into the distance, his gaze deep. "Ryan, get the private jet ready. We're heading to Solstice, Oceancrest City!"

Ryan hesitated, then lowered his voice and leaned in.

"Mr. Foster, are you sure you want to go to Oceancrest City yourself? That is the territory of the Torres family and the Phoebe family. The Foster Group has never ventured into Oceancrest City because of your grandmother's instructions. If you go there now, I'm afraid..."

Jasper narrowed his eyes. "Just because Oceancrest City is their territory, does that mean everything there belongs to them?"

As he turned and got into the car, he spoke coldly, "If the Phoebe family dares to touch Adeline, then no matter whose territory Oceancrest City is, I will go and take her back."

The powerful aura he exuded while saying this almost made Ryan unable to breathe.

Ryan quickly nodded, "Get it, Mr. Foster."

Only then did Jasper restrain his aura and get into the car.

He didn't go home directly but instead went to Lily's grave.

Standing in front of the tombstone, Jasper looked deeply at the photo on it, his voice cold and heavy.

"Grandma, you once told me that after the Phoebe family killed Aunt, you killed one of their sons. Later, they drugged you, and you drove them out of Radiance Springs. You said that the feud between you and the Phoebe family ended there and that I shouldn't seek revenge or trouble with them in the future."

"For many years, I have kept my promise and avoided any conflict with the Phoebe family. But now, the Phoebe family has helped Molly kill you, and they have taken Adeline. I will not continue to endure and retreat."

Jasper looked firmly at Lily's tombstone. "I will leave for Oceancrest City tomorrow. Whether it's Adeline or the life they took from you, I will get it back!"

After making his vow, Jasper took a deep breath and turned to leave.

After taking just a few steps, he noticed a bouquet of white flowers, still wet with dew, placed in front of Lily's tombstone.

It seemed the person who left them had just left.

Jasper frowned and scanned the surroundings, then placed the white flowers in front of Lily's tombstone before turning to leave.

Once Jasper's car was far away, Joseph, who had been hiding in the corner, let out a long breath and quietly emerged.

That man was terrifying!

When he had scanned the area just now, his gaze almost made Joseph panic and reveal himself!

"He's too scary, that guy."

Joseph patted his chest and glanced at Oliver, who was sitting in the corner looking at his phone.

"Dad, how can you be so calm? Weren't you afraid of being discovered just now?"

Oliver calmly put down his phone and looked at Joseph indifferently.

"I came to pay respects to his grandmother, not to dig up her grave. What's there to be afraid of?"

Joseph rolled his eyes helplessly and walked out. "But Dad, Grandma said that Mrs. Lily Foster was a really bad and vicious woman. Why would you risk coming to pay respects to her after she died?"

Oliver took a step forward, walking ahead of him.

"No matter how bad or vicious she was, can she crawl out of the grave and strangle you? Besides..."

Oliver looked straight ahead as he said, "What your grandmother said isn't necessarily true. Just like what Jasper's grandmother told him isn't necessarily all facts."

After speaking, he stopped and glanced at Joseph.

"I've booked a flight back to Oceancrest City for tonight. We've been out long enough, and I've seriously helped you look. If we can't find her, we can't find her. Stop making a fuss about wanting your mom."

Joseph pouted, feeling a bit dejected, and lowered his head without saying anything.

When would his mom finally show up?

In the evening.

The Torres family's private jet landed at the airport.

Adeline got off the plane and took out her phone, but before she could call Jasper, Randy snatched it away.

Randy sat in the back seat of the car, legs crossed, holding Adeline's phone with a mocking smile.

"Got off the plane and immediately took out your phone to contact your Jasper to come rescue you."

Randy's cold smile sent chills down her spine.

"Do you know that Oceancrest City is the territory of the Torres family and the Phoebe family? Even if your Jasper comes here, it's a dead end for him."

With that, he threw Adeline's phone out the car window.

Cars passed by, and after a few vehicles ran over it, Adeline's phone was shattered beyond recognition.

"I'm doing this for your own good."

Randy chuckled lightly, elegantly shaking his hands, "If you really contacted your Jasper and he came to Oceancrest City and died here, your three kids would be left without parents. Don't you think?"

Randy's words made Adeline bite her lip hard.

"I just need to let him know I'm safe."

Otherwise, Jasper would definitely think something had happened to her!

If he chased after her to the Torres family, it might escalate the long-standing business conflicts between the Torres and Foster families.

The consequences would be unimaginable.

"You might as well tell Brandon that you're safe." Randy sneered, "If Brandon sees you safe and sound, he'll probably cry with joy!"

Adeline frowned and glared at Randy, saying nothing.

This Randy was as detestable as ever!

Soon, the car arrived at the Torres family Mansion.

Under the protection of Randy's men, Adeline got out of the car and bypassed the main house, heading to the villa on the left.

This was where Brandon lived.

Over the past six years, she had often brought the kids to Brandon's villa, so she was very familiar with the place.

Soon, Adeline arrived at Brandon's door.

Randy's men sensibly didn't follow her inside.

Adeline took a deep breath, composed herself, and stepped inside.

The villa was filled with the smell of medicine.

Brandon, who was now paralyzed, sat in a wheelchair with his back to the door, looking at the parrot in the cage by the floor-to-ceiling window.

It had been a long time since she last saw him, and even his back looked much thinner.

Adeline bit her lip and carefully walked over.

Hearing footsteps behind him, Brandon spoke softly, "Anna Webb, didn't I ask you to go out and gather information about Randy's situation? Why are you back so soon?"

Brandon sighed as he spoke, "I hope they don't find Adeline too quickly."
