Chapter 670 I Know Where She Will Hide the Antidote

Nathan never thought Jasper would dig up stuff from over twenty years ago!

Sweat trickled down Nathan's forehead. He stood up, his voice shaky, "So... if I go see Lily now, will you... will you stop looking for that doctor from back then?"

Jasper glanced at him, unimpressed, "What do you think?"

Nathan took a deep breath, "I think if I go see Lily now, you won't hold it against me!"

With that, he quickly walked around Jasper and disappeared down the hallway.

Jasper narrowed, put away his phone, and looked in the direction Nathan had left, a cold smile forming on his lips.

Of course, Jasper wouldn't let it go. No one had the right to forgive Nathan on behalf of Patricia who had been dead for over twenty years.

But during Lily's remaining time, he didn't want Lily to worry about anything between them.

Patricia would probably agree with his decision.

Leaning against the hospital bed, Rex looked at the tall, imposing figure of Jasper standing at the door and swallowed nervously, "If you don't want to release my mom, can you at least get me more caregivers?"

Jasper raised an eyebrow and glanced at Rex, "How many caregivers do you have now?"

Rex bit his lip, "Four."

Jasper gave Rex a cold look, "Tomorrow, you'll have just one."

With that, he turned and strode away.

Rex watched Jasper's retreating figure, his bandaged hands clenching into fists.

Jasper's mention of Patricia's death must have really shaken Nathan.

In the following days, Nathan spent all his time either visiting Rex in the hospital or staying by Lily's bedside.

Lily's health was deteriorating day by day.

Jasper had almost completely cleared his schedule, spending all his time except for his sleep in Lily's hospital room.

She had taken care of him for over twenty years.

In her final days, he didn't want to miss a single moment of her life.

Adeline was also working overtime every day, making jewelry for Lily with the three kids in the studio.

Three days later, Lauren excitedly brought a jewelry box to Lily's hospital room.

"Great-grandma, can I put this on you?" Lauren smiled as she carefully took the jewelry out of the box and put it on Lily.

In just a few days, Lily had become so thin she looked like a different person.

She leaned weakly against the bed, barely able to breathe.

But even in such a frail state, she felt joy when she saw the jewelry Lauren had crafted.

Lily smiled and held Lauren's hand, "With the jewelry you made for me, I feel at peace."

Lauren held Lily's hand tenderly, "Great-grandma, Daddy said that if you wear what I made for you, you can still be my elder in the next life."

"I will still be Lauren's elder in the next life."

Lily looked up at Adeline, who was exhausted and had dark circles under her eyes, and sighed softly, "Thank you for your hard work."

She knew that while the kids had helped, the real effort in making the jewelry had come from Adeline.

"It's nothing," Adeline said, tucking a stray lock of hair behind her ear. "As long as you're happy."

Lily closed her eyes, wanting to say something, but suddenly coughed up blood and passed out.

This scene had happened several times in the past few days.

Jasper quickly ushered Adeline and the kids out of the room and called for the doctors.

The family of five stood outside the room, watching the doctors frantically try to save Lily, their emotions in turmoil.

Lauren started to sob.

Blake wiped away tears secretly.

Even Bennett, usually so strong, had red-rimmed eyes.

Adeline walked over to Jasper and gently took his hand.

"Make way!"

Suddenly, Sharon burst out of the elevator and rushed into the room. She injected a pale liquid into Lily's veins.

Soon, Lily woke up.

The door to the room opened, and Lauren was the first to rush in. Blake followed, pushing Bennett's wheelchair.

Lily, who had been so weak she could barely speak, now looked more spirited than before.

The doctors were amazed.

Previously, it had taken at least an hour for her to regain consciousness after each episode, and her condition had never improved like this.

Seeing Lily's improvement, Sharon let out a sigh of relief and left the room.

Jasper intercepted her outside, "What did you inject into my grandmother?"

Sharon glanced at him, "The Phoebe family's antidote."

Jasper frowned, "I thought the Phoebe family's antidote couldn't be made anymore, and the last remaining dose was used up."

Sharon nodded, "But do you remember the small amount of antidote Molly brought to alleviate Lily's symptoms?"

Jasper narrowed, "So you used that?"

Molly's antidote had taken three days to arrive from abroad to Radiance Springs.

During those three days, Lily had survived on the small amount of antidote Molly had provided.

But hadn't that been used up?

Noticing Jasper's confusion, Sharon smiled, "The three small bottles of antidote Molly gave me had serial numbers. But the numbers on the bottles weren't consecutive. I suspected she had more hidden, so I searched her luggage stored at the hospital and found another bottle."

She added, "But even with this bottle, the numbers still aren't consecutive. I suspect she hid many more."

Her words made Adeline and Jasper's eyes light up.

That meant if they could find the other hidden bottles, they could extend Lily's life!

Adeline bit her lip, "Finding where Molly hid the bottles won't be easy for us, right?"

Molly was dead now. She had always seemed to be living nowhere in Radiance Springs. Jasper and Mia's people had searched extensively but never found her residence.

It would be like finding a needle in a haystack.

Just as Jasper and Adeline were feeling hopeless, the door to the room opened.

Bennett wheeled himself out, "I know where she would hide the antidote."
