After dinner, Adeline returned to her room to continue watching the jewelry design exhibition video.

The sight made Adeline's heart race. It was as if she had returned to the first time she met Jasper many years ago.
Back then, he stood under a cherry blossom tree in a white shirt, looking up at Adeline who was sitting in the tree, smiling gently and asking why she had climbed so high.
Adeline was startled by Jasper, lost her balance, and fell from the tree, landing in his arms.
At that moment, Jasper held her, with his unfamiliar embrace and warmth, and his chiseled, cold profile; that was her beginning of the irrevocable journey of falling in love with him.
Adeline never expected that in this late autumn, she would see Jasper looking at her like this again.
Seeing Adeline still standing on the balcony staring at him in a daze, Jasper smirked, "Having trouble sleeping? How about joining me for a cup of coffee? Lauren has been calling me these past few days, asking me to find a way to get you to drink your first cup of coffee in autumn."
Jasper's voice was as deep and pleasant as ever, with an irresistible magnetism.
Hearing that, Adeline couldn't help but smile. She put away her water cup, "I'll go change and come down."
"No need." Jasper made a shushing gesture, "Don't let them know we're leaving."
With that, he shook the rope in his hand.

Jasper smiled up at her from below, "Do you want me to come up and carry you down, or will you come down yourself?"
Adeline blushed, "I'll come down myself."
With that, she took a deep breath, went back to her room to grab a jacket, and climbed down the rope.
Adeline's room was only on the second floor, not very high, so she climbed down effortlessly.
As soon as she landed, Jasper's arms tightly caught her. Just like when they first met years ago, gentle and strong.
Adeline felt even hotter. She quickly broke free from his embrace and turned to walk out of the garden, "Where are we going to have coffee?"
"In the car." Jasper walked up, took Adeline's hand, and led her towards the Maserati parked in the distance.
His large hand was dry and strong, with a reassuring warmth.
Being held by him, Adeline could even feel his rapidly beating heart.
After they got into the car, the villa behind them suddenly lost power.
The entire villa plunged into darkness. At this moment, the effects of the drug on Molly and Rex also began to take hold.
The two sitting in the living room exchanged a glance in the dark.
Rex frowned, "Why did the power suddenly go out?"
Molly sneered, "You can't find someone just because the power's out?"
She glanced at Rex and said, "The drug should be taking effect by now. I'll go find Jasper, and you go find Adeline."

After he left, Molly took a deep breath and took out a perfume from her bag that smelled exactly like Adeline's.

It would be best if Jasper thought she was Adeline.
Rex also changed his scent and clothes to match Jasper's exactly in a secluded place.

As long as he made himself smell and look like Jasper and didn't make a sound, he wouldn't have to worry about Adeline recognizing him.

Jasper's words made Adeline's face flush with heat.
The atmosphere in the car seemed to become tense.

Adeline paused, "Power outage?"
Jasper nodded, "I had it cut."

Adeline was stunned, "What do you mean?"

"Yes." Jasper exhaled deeply, "They want us to spend the night with them, and then they can proceed with their plans."

"But Adeline," Jasper closed his eyes, remained silent for a while, and finally spoke, "the aphrodisiac in our bodies has already taken effect."
