Chapter 501 I Messed Things Up
Watching Lily storm upstairs, Lauren jogged over to Blake's side.
The siblings exchanged a high-five in perfect sync.
After the high-five, Lauren looked upstairs with a bit of concern. "Blake, do you think Lily can convince Dad?"
Blake shrugged. "Doubt it."
Lauren frowned. "Then why'd you make me go along with it if you knew it wouldn't work, Blake?"
Blake smirked. "You don't get it. Jasper's thinking about Mom's illness and her beef with Luna, so he won't let us go back to Mom or let Mom move into Emerald Crest Estate."
Blake squinted his eyes. "But Lily won't think about all that. If she suggests it to Dad and gets shot down, who do you think she'll blame?"
Lauren slapped her forehead. "Right. Lily won't blame Dad 'cause she loves him the most. So, it's Luna's fault!"
Blake nodded and lowered his eyes, smiling as he played with the milk cup in his hand. "This is only Lily's second day here. Over time, the conflict between Lily and Luna will get worse."
When Lily throws a tantrum, Luna definitely won't be able to handle it. This way, she won't have the chance to mess with our mom anymore!
Lauren silently gave Blake a thumbs up. "Bennett was right. Blake, even though you're the quietest of us three, you're also the most cunning."
Blake looked at Lauren indifferently. "You think I'm bad?"
Lauren quickly shook her head. "No, not at all! I was just saying..."
"Enough," Blake interrupted calmly.
"But speaking of Bennett..." Blake squinted his eyes and fell silent.
Blake suspected that the person who pretended to be him while he was unconscious, saying Adeline had mental issues and abused her kids, was Bennett. As for why Bennett did and said those things, Blake still needed to find him to figure it out.
Upstairs.
In Luna's room, a fierce argument broke out. In the end, Lily stormed out in anger.
Jasper helplessly handed a tissue to Luna, who was leaning against the headboard. "Wipe your face."
Luna took the tissue, crying as she wiped her face. At this moment, her face was covered with steaming milk and hot tears.
"Jasper." Luna wiped her tears while biting her lip. "Grandma doesn't like me at all; can't you make Lily leave here?"
Jasper sighed, raising his hand to gently pat Luna's head as a form of comfort. "Grandma came here for Blake and Lauren. She had conflicts with Adeline before, so when Blake and Lauren lived with Adeline, she felt awkward visiting them at Adeline's place. Now that I've finally brought Blake and Lauren out, you should understand her love and reluctance for the kids."
Jasper rubbed his aching temples. "In the future, regarding Grandma, try to tolerate her as much as you can. She is an elder after all. You are a kind and gentle girl; I believe you can do it."
Seeing that Luna had almost cleaned the milk stains off her face, Jasper stood up. "I worked overtime last night, and I'm a bit tired now. I'm going to rest. If anything comes up, call the butler first. If the butler can't handle it, then call me."
After saying that, Jasper stood up and left.
Listening to Jasper's footsteps fade away, Luna clenched her fists tightly by her sides.
She shouldn't have listened to Molly!
Molly had said that the kids were Adeline's weak spot, and taking them away would throw her into chaos. Molly also said Jasper would lock Adeline in a mental hospital.
But what happened? Jasper not only didn't lock Adeline up but also let Lily move into Emerald Crest Estate!
Lily looked at Luna with all sorts of disdain, and Jasper still asked Luna to tolerate it.
Moreover, after the kids and Lily moved in last night, Luna discovered a very important issue. She no longer had the chance to seduce Jasper and get intimate with him!
With so many people suddenly in the house, Luna couldn't walk around in her ultra-thin nightgown in front of Jasper like before!
However, now she couldn't propose sending the children away, considering it was her idea to bring them over just yesterday.

Luna bit her lip and took out her phone to message Molly.
Luna: [When are you going to get rid of Adeline?]
The reply came quickly.
Molly: [Take it slow, no rush.]
Leaving Luna's room, Jasper ran into Lily waiting at the end of the hallway.
Lily grabbed him and recounted Luna's misdeeds.
Finally, Lily gave him an ultimatum. "I'll give you three days. If you can't provide evidence within three days that Adeline really has mental issues and really hits the kids, I'll bring Adeline to Emerald Crest Estate!"
Jasper had no choice but to agree, then comforted Lily again.
After sending Lily away, he took a deep breath and returned to the bedroom, picked up the phone, and dialed a number. "Tell Dr. Smith and his team to cancel all their work for the next few days and come to Radiance Springs tomorrow. I'll cover all the losses."
After hanging up the phone, Jasper wiped his face with his hand and finally collapsed wearily onto the large bed.
Actually, no one in this world hoped more than he did that Adeline didn't have a mental illness. Jasper hoped Adeline was healthy, and their kids were also healthy.
Because of his mistakes, she had already lost two children. Jasper didn't want her to suffer anymore.

Adeline had just finished her bath and was about to rest when her phone rang.
It was Mia calling.
Mia said, "Adeline, I messed up."
Adeline frowned and got up from the bed. "What happened?"
Mia said, "Didn't you leave me a message early this morning, asking me to hire the internationally renowned medical expert Dr. Smith and his team to come to Radiance Springs to diagnose you? I had originally secured an appointment; the other party mentioned they could accommodate a brief visit during a lull between appointments with a major client. But just now, Dr. Smith's team called me, saying that the big client is willing to cover all their losses for their canceled appointments."
Adeline's hand holding the phone trembled slightly. "When will he be available then?"
Mia sighed on the other end. "We won't be able to see Dr. Smith within a week."
Adeline felt a sense of despair.
A week. In such a long time, she might already be locked in a mental hospital by Jasper!
Adeline said, "I'll think of another way."
