Chapter 490 Tie Them Up and Bring Them Here

Jasper's words hit Adeline like a ton of bricks.

Luna had an accident?

Wasn't Luna the one who called her all high and mighty this morning, telling her to get out of Radiance Springs?

Adeline frowned. "What happened to Luna?"

Jasper sighed on the other end, sounding pretty helpless. "Luna threw a fit at me, drove off from Emerald Crest Estate, and then crashed her car."

Adeline paused, biting her lip. "You should be with Luna right now. Why are you telling me this? I can't take care of her, and I..."

"Adeline." Jasper cut her off, taking a deep breath. "I've already sent Ryan and Tim to pick you and Blake up. They should be there by now. Bring Blake and come to the hospital."

Jasper's words left Adeline even more confused.

'Luna had a car accident and is in the hospital. Why is Jasper telling me to go there? And why bring Blake? Blake's not a doctor or a nurse, and he's not related to Luna. Why drag a kid into this?' she thought.

"I'll go by myself. Blake's been in the hospital for years. He finally got better; he wouldn't want to go back," Adeline said.

Honestly, Adeline didn't want to go either. Luna had a car accident and was hospitalized. Adeline was already holding back from celebrating. Why go to the hospital and make herself miserable?

Jasper was silent for a moment, then spoke coldly, "Bring Blake over."

"Why?" Adeline asked.

"Luna's seriously injured and lost a lot of blood," Jasper said, his voice low and flat. "Blake's blood type and genetic makeup match Luna's."

Adeline finally got it.

She clutched her phone, feeling like all the blood in her body was rushing backward.

So that's why Jasper wanted her to bring Blake to the hospital—he needed Blake to donate blood to Luna!

Blake was only six! And he just had a bone marrow transplant a month ago because of a blood disorder!

Even though the surgery went well and the new bone marrow was making blood, he'd only been healthy for a month. He shouldn't be donating blood!

"Adeline," Jasper called.

Hearing her silence, Jasper sighed deeply. "I've tried everything else. The hospital and I are getting blood from other places, but Blake needs to help Luna in this emergency."

Listening to Jasper's cold, ruthless voice, Adeline felt like someone had hit her hard on the back of her head. She was dazed, confused, and helpless.

Any goodwill she had for Jasper from last night, when he helped her and wanted to say a proper goodbye, vanished. What good was his brief kindness?

When something happened to Luna, the first thing he thought of was her son donating blood to Luna!

Adeline took a deep breath, gripping her phone tightly. Every word felt like it was being forced out. "Jasper, how can you be sure Blake's blood is compatible with Luna's?"

How did Adeline not know that Luna and Blake had the same blood type?

Jasper was silent for a moment, then laughed. "I just came back from the hospital's blood bank and saw the records. Adeline, Luna's condition is very serious. Please bring Blake over quickly. Think of it as a thanks for saving your reputation the other day. You should let Blake help Luna, right?"

Adeline could hardly believe her ears. 'How can someone be so despicable? How can he be so indifferent to his own son's life and death?' she thought.

Adeline bit her lip. "What if I don't bring Blake?"

"Then I'll have Ryan bring people to take Blake by force," Jasper's voice was chillingly cold. "You don't want your son to be treated roughly, do you? Bring Blake over quickly. It won't take much blood and won't harm his body."

With that, Jasper hung up.

Adeline clutched her phone, listening to the busy tone, her teeth grinding in anger!

She had thought Jasper had some conscience, but it was her fault for being too easily fooled by him; Jasper was a selfish person!

When it didn't harm Jasper and Luna's interests, he would help her, send her home, and pretend to say a proper goodbye.

But once it touched Jasper's interests and his beloved Luna, he immediately showed his true colors!

Adeline should have seen it earlier; Jasper was an extremely hypocritical person!

"What happened?" Seeing Adeline put down the phone, Vikram immediately leaned over and asked in a low voice.

Adeline narrowed her eyes. "Jasper said Luna had a car accident. He wants me to bring Blake to the hospital to donate blood to Luna."

Adeline's eyes flashed with coldness. "Blake just had surgery a month ago, and his body still has someone else's hematopoietic stem cells. Now he wants Blake to donate blood to Luna. Isn't he afraid his Luna won't adapt!"

Vikram pursed his lips, at a loss for words.

But rejection really wouldn't happen. Jasper probably dared to have Blake donate blood because Blake's bone marrow was Luna's, right?

But Radiance Springs was so big, it's not like they couldn't find a blood source for Luna in the blood bank, right? What was Jasper up to?

At the hospital, Luna lay weakly on the bed, covered in blood, her face pale.

Seeing Jasper hang up the phone and enter the room, Luna looked at him with tearful eyes. "Jasper, did Adeline agree? Is Blake willing to come and donate blood to me, so I can see him before I die?"

Jasper frowned, walked over, and held Luna's hand. "Stop talking about dying. The doctor said you just lost a lot of blood, nothing serious. The blood supply has already been mobilized from other blood banks and is on the way. Don't be afraid."

Luna bit her lip and silently shook her head. "But Jasper, I really feel like I'm dying. The greatest thing I've done in my life is donating my bone marrow to your son. If I can't see Blake before I die, I won't rest in peace. Jasper, I only have this one request. You will promise me, won't you?"

Jasper sighed, looked at Luna again. "He's on his way."

Just as Jasper was about to continue comforting Luna, his phone rang.

It was Ryan calling. "Adeline refused to let Blake come with us to the hospital and kicked us out of the villa. Mr. Foster, what should we do?"

Jasper frowned, about to say something, when Luna on the hospital bed started crying again.

Luna said, "It seems I really won't see Blake before I die. I donated my bone marrow, and now I can't even see him before I die. If Blake doesn't come, I'll just die today. After all, the person I saved with all my might doesn't even want to see me."

Jasper sighed and lowered his voice. "Then bring them by force."
