Seeing Jasper stop, Rex grinned smugly. He thought, 'Gotcha! Jasper still cares about Adeline!'
Rex quickly took a deep breath and kept pushing. "Jasper, you might not know, Adeline just offered me $50,000 to break off the engagement, but I turned her down. But if you're willing to acknowledge me as part of the Foster family..."
Jasper spun around with a cold sneer, his eyes icy as he cut Rex off, "Why should I make you break off the engagement with Adeline?"
Those deep, unreadable eyes locked onto Rex's face, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "Since you love being her fiancé so much, then keep at it. We'll see how that goes."
With that, he turned his wheelchair and rolled away.
Rex was stunned and angrily chased after him. "Don't you care about Adeline? I'm her fiancé, I can do whatever I want with her!"
Jasper didn't even look back, "Then she also has the right to do whatever she wants to you."
"Oh, by the way," he stopped his wheelchair, "You know Adeline and I have two kids, right? My kids really don't like anyone messing with my relationship with Adeline, but if you insist on being her fiancé, what they do to you is out of my hands." With that, Jasper left.

Leaving Royal Elegance Dining, Adeline got into the Maserati parked at the door by Jasper.
Not long after, Jasper, who was in the wheelchair, came out of the restaurant, handed the wheelchair to Ryan, and slowly got into the car, holding his still-healing stomach. As soon as he got in the car, Jasper looked straight ahead and spoke coolly, "Got too much money to burn?"
Adeline paused, knowing he was talking about her offering Rex $50,000 to break off the engagement. She sighed, "I just don't want any trouble."

His words made Adeline bite her lip silently. He wanted to help her with Rex because he was afraid she would be distracted.
Adeline took a deep breath and nodded, "Then I'll have to trouble you in the future."
Jasper nodded, closed his eyes, and leaned back in the leather seat, "Ryan, drive."
The car started. Adeline turned her face to look out the window. Jasper half-closed his eyes, looking at her smooth, delicate profile through the gap, his emotions complicated. He thought, 'When would she consider me the most important person and willingly accept my efforts?'

Dr. Freya came regularly to check on Blake. As soon as she walked into the villa, she saw Blake sitting in the living room playing with a Rubik's Cube.
"Why are you alone? Where's Lauren?" She said as she put down the medical kit, squatted in front of Blake, and took his hand to draw blood.
Bennett frowned at the doctor in front of him but said nothing, just putting down the Rubik's Cube and cooperating with her.
Soon, Freya finished drawing blood and took other samples. He watched as Freya took out some instruments and reagents to start testing and couldn't help but frown and ask, "For a DNA test, shouldn't you also take Jasper's blood?"
Freya frowned and turned to him with a puzzled look. "What DNA test? Blake, I'm just doing a routine check-up."
Bennett paused, realizing he had made a mistake. He glanced at Freya, then picked up the Rubik's Cube and continued to play. "Then you got it wrong; I'm not Blake; I'm Liam."
Shocked, Freya frowned and looked at the person in front of her who looked exactly like Blake, "You're his twin brother?"
Bennett didn't look up, "No, we're half-brothers."
Freya was even more surprised, "Then how do you look exactly alike?"
"Because our mothers are sisters." After saying that, Bennett looked up, "Is there a problem?"
Freya paused, glancing at the test results in front of her. "Indeed. You and Blake are definitely full brothers."
