Chapter 609 Our Moms Are Biological Sisters

Seeing Jasper stop, Rex grinned smugly. He thought, 'Gotcha! Jasper still cares about Adeline!'

Rex quickly took a deep breath and kept pushing. "Jasper, you might not know, Adeline just offered me $50,000 to break off the engagement, but I turned her down. But if you're willing to acknowledge me as part of the Foster family..."

Jasper spun around with a cold sneer, his eyes icy as he cut Rex off, "Why should I make you break off the engagement with Adeline?"

Those deep, unreadable eyes locked onto Rex's face, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "Since you love being her fiancé so much, then keep at it. We'll see how that goes."

With that, he turned his wheelchair and rolled away.

Rex was stunned and angrily chased after him. "Don't you care about Adeline? I'm her fiancé, I can do whatever I want with her!"

Jasper didn't even look back, "Then she also has the right to do whatever she wants to you."

"Oh, by the way," he stopped his wheelchair, "You know Adeline and I have two kids, right? My kids really don't like anyone messing with my relationship with Adeline, but if you insist on being her fiancé, what they do to you is out of my hands." With that, Jasper left.

"You!" Rex gritted his teeth and was about to chase after him when a waiter from Royal Elegance Dining stopped him.

"Sir, you haven't paid your bill. You also need to compensate for the broken glass."

He turned and glared at the waiter. "Don't you know who I am? I'm from the Foster family! Do you think I can't pay?"

The waiter sneered, "Without the Foster family head's acknowledgment, you're just an ordinary person."

With that, everyone in the restaurant started to laugh quietly.

It turned out that the Foster family hadn't acknowledged his identity; it was Rex himself who had found a reporter to publish the story, trying to force the Foster family to recognize him!

But unexpectedly, not only did the Foster family not accept him, but even his father was expelled from the Foster family!

The surrounding laughter made Rex's face flush with embarrassment.

He wanted to escape, but he had no money. He couldn't escape at all.

Rex roared angrily, "Shut up, all of you!"

"Mr. Rex Foster, why so angry?" Suddenly, a gentle female voice sounded.

Rex paused and looked in the direction of the voice; it was Molly from last night!

Molly walked slowly to him, took out a card, and handed it to the waiter, "I'll pay his bill, and the cost of the glass too."

After saying that, she didn't forget to give the waiter a cold look, "Don't look down on him. Given that he carries the Foster family bloodline, he will inevitably become one of them. Maybe one day he'll be more powerful than Jasper."

The waiter took the card and quickly went to the cashier. "Thank you."

Rex looked at Molly with gratitude, "You have good judgment. I will surpass Jasper sooner or later!"

Seeing his smug face, Molly smiled coldly and sarcastically. But it was just for a moment.

A moment later, she lightly patted Rex's shoulder, "Of course, you're much better than Jasper. You just haven't had the chance to show your talents yet."

She smiled and handed him her business card, "How about we work together?"

Leaving Royal Elegance Dining, Adeline got into the Maserati parked at the door by Jasper.

Not long after, Jasper, who was in the wheelchair, came out of the restaurant, handed the wheelchair to Ryan, and slowly got into the car, holding his still-healing stomach. As soon as he got in the car, Jasper looked straight ahead and spoke coolly, "Got too much money to burn?"

Adeline paused, knowing he was talking about her offering Rex $50,000 to break off the engagement. She sighed, "I just don't want any trouble."

Rex was just a scoundrel. Last night, she was threatened and agreed to the engagement in public, and there would definitely be endless trouble afterward. Just like today's so-called flirting incident, it would definitely happen again. Thinking of this, she preferred to use money to make Rex agree to break off the engagement.

Now her mind was full of how to help Bennett regain his memory and how to rescue Sebastian; she really didn't have the energy to deal with Rex.

"But your weakness will only make him more aggressive." Jasper turned his eyes, those deep, unfathomable eyes fixed on Adeline's face. "You don't need to be afraid of him in the future. I'll handle everything."

These short words left Adeline stunned. Her whole body seemed to freeze. She stared blankly at him, meeting his deep eyes.

After a while, she blushed and turned her face away, saying, "This is my own business."

Last night, she agreed to Rex without his consent; how could she now seek his help?

"Adeline." Jasper looked deeply into her eyes, "You and I are on the same side now. If you're distracted by Rex, do you expect me to bring back Bennett's memory alone?"

His words made Adeline bite her lip silently. He wanted to help her with Rex because he was afraid she would be distracted.

Adeline took a deep breath and nodded, "Then I'll have to trouble you in the future."

Jasper nodded, closed his eyes, and leaned back in the leather seat, "Ryan, drive."

The car started. Adeline turned her face to look out the window. Jasper half-closed his eyes, looking at her smooth, delicate profile through the gap, his emotions complicated. He thought, 'When would she consider me the most important person and willingly accept my efforts?'

Blue Bay.

Dr. Freya came regularly to check on Blake. As soon as she walked into the villa, she saw Blake sitting in the living room playing with a Rubik's Cube.

"Why are you alone? Where's Lauren?" She said as she put down the medical kit, squatted in front of Blake, and took his hand to draw blood.

Bennett frowned at the doctor in front of him but said nothing, just putting down the Rubik's Cube and cooperating with her.

Soon, Freya finished drawing blood and took other samples. He watched as Freya took out some instruments and reagents to start testing and couldn't help but frown and ask, "For a DNA test, shouldn't you also take Jasper's blood?"

Freya frowned and turned to him with a puzzled look. "What DNA test? Blake, I'm just doing a routine check-up."

Bennett paused, realizing he had made a mistake. He glanced at Freya, then picked up the Rubik's Cube and continued to play. "Then you got it wrong; I'm not Blake; I'm Liam."

Shocked, Freya frowned and looked at the person in front of her who looked exactly like Blake, "You're his twin brother?"

Bennett didn't look up, "No, we're half-brothers."

Freya was even more surprised, "Then how do you look exactly alike?"

"Because our mothers are sisters." After saying that, Bennett looked up, "Is there a problem?"

Freya paused, glancing at the test results in front of her. "Indeed. You and Blake are definitely full brothers."
