Chapter 614 Your Sebastian Should Be Here Too

Bennett yelled at the driver, "Stop the car, now!"

But the driver acted like he didn't hear a thing. Instead of stopping, he sped up. Bennett clenched his jaw, pounding on the car door and glaring at the driver. "You're my driver! Aren't you supposed to listen to me?"

The driver chuckled, "You think I'm Sebastian, and I'll just do whatever you say? Liam, don't kid yourself. We're loyal to Molly, and we only take orders from her!"

With that, he floored the gas pedal. Soon, the car pulled up to the entrance of an abandoned factory.

Lauren's eyes went wide as she looked out the window, then turned to Bennett. "Liam, did you lie to us?"

Weren't they supposed to go to the hotel where Molly was to get her DNA? Why were they in this creepy, deserted place?

This place was so empty, with just this old, rundown factory in front of them. How could Molly possibly be here?

Facing Lauren's confused gaze, Bennett felt his face flush with embarrassment, like he'd been slapped.

Blake finally closed his laptop, glanced at Bennett with a cold expression, and said, "Is this the hotel you mentioned?"

He narrowed his eyes, "Are you lying to us, or is your so-called mother lying to you?"

Bennett gritted his teeth, unable to speak. If there had been a hole in the ground, he would have gladly disappeared into it.

How could Molly deceive him like this? Even if Molly had told him she wanted to kidnap Blake and Lauren to threaten Jasper, he might not have disagreed. Why lie to him?

At that moment, the gate of the abandoned factory creaked open. A group of men in black swarmed out, surrounding the car. The bodyguards Jasper had sent to protect Blake and Lauren were quickly overpowered.

Molly, dressed in red and holding an umbrella, elegantly walked out of the factory and coldly ordered the men in black, "Tie up those two kids for me!"

"Yes, ma'am!"

The group hurriedly opened the car door, roughly dragging Lauren and Blake out and tying them up with ropes. They were bound and escorted into the factory. Watching all this, Bennett felt like his heart was being twisted by a knife.

Finally, he slowly got out of the car, looking at Molly with confusion and hurt. "Mother, how could you deceive me?"

His eyes were filled with pain. "I'm your son, why would you lie to me?"

Molly's eyebrows furrowed in anger. "So what if I lied to you?"

Bennett raised his head, his heart full of anger and disappointment. "I promised Jasper and Adeline that I would bring them back safely. You told me we were just going to verify the DNA to see if they were my siblings. How can I ever..."

Before Bennett could finish, Molly slapped him hard across the face. "Have you developed a familial bond with them? Who do you think you are? Why should I tell you my plans? You just need to remember, I'm your mother! You do whatever I say, no questions asked!"

With that, she turned and walked into the abandoned warehouse without looking back. "Get in here!"

Bennett stood there, holding his swollen, painful face, watching Molly's indifferent back. He suddenly recalled how Adeline had treated his wounds and spanked him yesterday.

'How wonderful it would be if Adeline were my mother,' Bennett thought.

Blake and Lauren's communication signal was lost.

Sitting in the car tracking the signal, Adeline anxiously watched the screen where the red dot had disappeared, "Why did the signal suddenly cut off?"

Jasper squinted at the screen, "It doesn't look like it was jammed; it seems Blake turned it off himself."

Adeline frowned, "Why would he turn off the signal?"

Jasper looked ahead. "Probably to save power. The communicator he's carrying has a very strong signal transmission capability, so it consumes a lot of power. Even with the best battery I installed, it can only last a few hours."

He added, "Blake turning off the communicator now could be for two reasons. One is that he believes we can find him, but it will take a long time, so he turned it off to save power."

Jasper's voice deepened, "The other reason is that he and Lauren were taken to a place where the signal is hard to transmit, and Blake plans to use the maximum power to send a signal at the critical moment, so he turned it off."

He then glanced at Ryan, who was typing on the computer. "Did you find it?"

"Yes, checked it!" Ryan took a deep breath. "The last place Blake's signal was detected is an abandoned factory in the suburbs, left by the Phoebe Group in Radiance Springs over twenty years ago. The Phoebe Group was driven by Mrs. Lily Foster due to business competition."

Ryan continued, "After leaving Radiance Springs, they went to Neon City for a while, where they had a baby girl, and then they moved abroad. And they were secretly supporting Molly. The people who call Molly 'Ms. Phoebe' are also from the Phoebe Group."

Ryan's words made Adeline frown. She remembered Molly once saying she was a wealthy heiress deliberately swapped by Daniel.

So she had found her family, no wonder her power had grown so much.

"I'm not interested in the Phoebe Group." Jasper's eyes were cold as he looked at the approaching abandoned factory. "This factory has been abandoned for so long, can we find any information? Is there a place like a basement where the signal would be hard to transmit?"

"Yes." Ryan opened the information on the abandoned factory and said in a low voice, "This abandoned factory has a huge underground warehouse, with only one entrance and one more."

He looked up, "There's also a large drainage outlet."

Jasper squinted his eyes, "Head to the drainage outlet and find a way in. Blake and Lauren must have been taken to the underground warehouse."

With that, he glanced indifferently at Adeline, "Sebastian should be there too."
