With the ceremony about to start and still no word from Lester or any movement in the stock prices, Daisy was starting to panic.
On the surface, she maintained a calm demeanor while chatting with Jasper, but inside, she was a bundle of nerves!
The ceremony was about to begin, and if Jasper failed to win Adeline back, he would turn his wrath on the Phoebe family even more ruthlessly!

Adeline felt a headache coming on.
Brandon was already the subject of ridicule.
If he went on stage and said they didn't have a love story, he would find himself in a difficult predicament.
Taking a deep breath, Adeline grabbed Brandon's wheelchair. "Let's just say a few words."
After all, she and Brandon had known each other for six years, and their meeting wasn't hard to recount.
And after their engagement today, they would be family.
With this in mind, Adeline smiled and pushed Brandon onto the stage.
The host on stage got excited, and the audience started cheering.
Brandon took the microphone from the host. "Everyone is right, I did fall in love with Adeline at first sight. Six years ago, she fell into the sea, and my boat happened to be passing by. I saved her. When the crew pulled her out of the water, I knew she was the one for me."
He turned to Adeline and continued, "She is the girl I want to cherish and keep close. We've been together for six years. Recently, I injured my legs, and I wanted to break off the engagement to let her go, but she chose to stay by my side."
Brandon's voice was deep and gentle.
The audience couldn't help but murmur among themselves.
"Miss Wilson is truly devoted! A perfect match!"
Daisy sat in the corner, sipping her coffee indifferently, and glanced at Jasper.
"Miss Wilson is really devoted to Mr. Torres. She was planning to stay in Radiance Springs with Mr. Foster, but as soon as she heard Mr. Torres was disabled, she rushed back to marry him; they really are an enviable couple!"
Jasper narrowed his eyes and looked at Daisy coldly. His long fingers tapped lightly on the table.
"If I remember correctly, Ms. Phoebe, you're not actually the Phoebe family's biological daughter, right? Your biological parents switched you with Molly so you could live a life of luxury with the Phoebe family."
Jasper's gaze swept over Daisy's pale face, "So, Adeline is technically your older sister, right?"
"You don't sympathize with your sister's situation and even mock her. Is this what the Phoebe family taught you?"
Jasper's eyes scanned Daisy up and down, "But you do look quite similar to Molly. Do you think maybe you and Molly are the real sisters, and Adeline isn't?"
His words made Daisy more and more alarmed, her spine growing colder with each word!
She tried to suppress her fear, sneaking glances at Jasper's expression, trying to figure out if he was just testing her or if he knew something!
Seeing Daisy remain silent for a long time, Jasper smirked, "Did I hit the mark?"
Daisy was startled and quickly coughed, "What a joke! Molly is the real daughter of the Phoebe family; that's been confirmed by DNA tests. Adeline is indeed my sister... it's not that I don't feel sorry for her marrying a disabled man, I just..."
As Daisy struggled to find the right words, the microphone for sharing their love story was handed to Adeline on stage.
Adeline held the microphone, her palms sweaty. She wasn't used to lying in front of so many people.
But Brandon had already spoken.
