Chapter 798 Are You Willing?
Daisy's words made Adeline's hand, which was holding a fork, freeze in mid-air.
She looked up, her face pale, staring at Daisy.
Before she could say anything, the maid named Anna actually brought the child right in front of Adeline.
"Miss Wilson..."
Adeline clenched her teeth, turning her face away, not daring to look.
"Daisy, you're going too far!"
Linda, who was standing nearby, finally understood. The woman dressed in designer clothes, causing trouble early in the morning, was none other than the Phoebe family's fake daughter, Daisy!
Narrowing her eyes, Linda rushed forward, pulling Anna, who was holding the child, away from Adeline. "Get out of here!"
Adeline had just started to recover from the pain of losing her child, and now Daisy brought a little girl the same age as Adeline's child.

Linda didn't push Anna very hard, just enough to get her away from Adeline.
But Anna fell to the ground.
Daisy quickly knelt down to help Anna up, biting her lip and looking at Adeline and Linda with a wronged expression.
"What are you doing?"
As she spoke, she pinched the leg of the baby in the swaddle.
The baby's tender skin couldn't bear such a pinch.
The child's cries echoed throughout the yard.
Daisy took the baby from Anna's arms, holding her while looking at Adeline with tears in her eyes.
"Adeline, I know you're jealous that my Patty was born and is growing up, but you can't let your maid treat Patty like this!"
"She's Brandon's biological daughter!"
"Brandon saved you and your three children. Even if he didn't achieve anything, he still worked hard. And now you want your maid to harm Brandon's child!"
Adeline frowned, about to explain, but then she saw a man outside the yard.
Howard, dressed in a charcoal gray suit, seemed to have just gotten out of the car and was hurrying into the yard.
Daisy had seen Howard arrive from the beginning, which is why she signaled Anna to fall.
Now that Howard was entering the yard, she couldn't miss this golden opportunity.
Daisy held Patty, continuously pinching her foot.
Patty cried louder and more fiercely.
Daisy cried along with her.
"Adeline, I really didn't come here to provoke you today."
"I brought Patty to give you an invitation and to let Mom see Patty."
"Even though I'm not Mom's biological daughter, I've always considered her my real mother. When I had a daughter, she was the first person I wanted to share it with."
She cried and wiped her tears. "I really didn't come to cause trouble!"
Linda couldn't help but snort coldly. "Not here to cause trouble?"
She stood protectively in front of Adeline. "She came here complaining about the countryside air being too foul for her."
"Spraying disinfectant and perfume everywhere, choosing to hold her wedding and birthday party at the place where Adeline and Brandon got engaged."
"And then bringing her illegitimate child to show off in front of Adeline!"
"If this isn't malicious, I don't know what is!"
Linda's words made Howard frown. He glanced at Daisy.
"Daisy, is this true?"
Daisy bit her lip, soothing the baby in her arms, looking aggrieved.
"Dad, can't you smell how bad the air is out here?"
"Adeline might be used to it, but I've been cooped up at home for a month. I can't stand this smell."
"And the disinfectant and perfume, the countryside is full of bacteria and viruses. Patty is less than a month old and has low immunity. Isn't it right to disinfect?"
"The disinfectant smells bad, so I sprayed some perfume. Is that wrong?"
"And about Crystal Heights Resort, it's the best hotel in Oceancrest City. Brandon wants the best for me. Should I refuse just because Adeline has been there?"
"Bringing the child here was the last straw."
"Logically, after I had a child, as the older sister, Adeline should visit me and Brandon's home."
"But considering her poor health and Mom being here, I brought Patty over myself."
"But to this maid, it became me having bad intentions!"
The more she spoke, the more upset she became, tears streaming down her face.
"I knew it. I shouldn't have come, shouldn't have sent Adeline an invitation."
"I thought she would let bygones be bygones for the sake of family... But it seems she still minds me being with Brandon."
Daisy bit her lip. "It's my fault. I humiliated myself. I shouldn't have invited her to our wedding!"
With that, Daisy sobbed, holding Patty as she walked towards Zara's room.
"Since Adeline doesn't welcome me, I won't stay here to annoy anyone."
"I'll take Patty to see Mom."
"Don't worry, after seeing Mom, I'll leave. I won't stay here to upset you!"
Howard stood still, watching Daisy walk away with the child, his brows furrowed deeply.
After a while, he turned, looking at Adeline with a disappointed expression.
"How could you treat Daisy like this?"
"Adeline, didn't you say you wouldn't be jealous or mind Daisy being with Brandon?"
"What are you doing now?"
He glanced coldly at Linda, who was standing protectively in front of Adeline.
"This maid seems loyal, but who gave you the right to interfere in the master's affairs?"
Howard's words made Linda's eyes widen in shock.
Maid?
She was just wearing rough clothes because it was more convenient for working in the countryside.
But in their eyes, she was a maid?
"Linda isn't a maid. She's my classmate from Neon City and a very good friend."
Adeline, who had been silent, took a deep breath and stepped forward to stand in front of Linda.
"Mr. Phoebe, do you only see Daisy as your daughter now?"
Howard frowned at Adeline. "What do you mean by that?"
"If Mr. Phoebe considered me his daughter, he would understand that the last person I want to see right now is Daisy and her child."
"My child and Daisy's child were born on the same day. My child's body isn't even cold yet, and Daisy brings her daughter to show off in front of me."
She looked up, her eyes cold as she stared at Howard.
"If Mr. Phoebe were in my shoes, would you want that?"
