Chapter 32 Annoying Outing
Ryan entered with a cup of coffee while Jasper continued to battle against the computer.
Looking at the codes on the screen, Ryan was completely dumbfounded.
He placed the coffee on the table. "Sir, it has been many years since you dealt with these matters personally."
Jasper nodded, picked up the coffee cup, and downed its contents in one go.
It had been many years since he had been provoked and angered so ruthlessly!
He placed the empty coffee cup down. His distinct knuckles were ready to continue the struggle against the person on the other side of the computer.
Even the fifth firewall was breached. Blake in the hospital room was drenched in cold sweat.
He realized that his opponent was a master, but he never expected him to be this formidable!
His stupefying hacking skills were completely defenseless against this person!
Beep! Beep! Beep!
The computer emitted a piercing sound.
The system indicated that the other party not only accessed Blake's IP address but also attempted to access his webcam and audio devices!
This person wanted to expose him fully!
Blake wiped the sweat off his forehead, and just before the computer was finally breached, he formatted it immediately.
Once the screen displayed the completion of the format, he severed all the circuits and network signals in the hospital room.
Jasper was left empty-handed.
The information displayed that at the final moment, the opponent abandoned their defense and formatted the computer.
Formatting meant deleting all the files and contents on the computer.
Jasper's eyes were filled with unrelenting anger!
He was so close! Just a little bit closer, and he would have caught this person!
Meanwhile, Blake's condition in the hospital room hadn't improved either.
He had stored too much of his previous data on the computer, and now, with everything formatted, there was no other choice.
Resting against the pillow at the head of the bed, the young man couldn't help but breathe heavily.
It seemed that his dad was not useless. He actually had such a formidable hacker under his command!
He shouldn't have taken Bennett's words lightly.
"Blake."
Perhaps the alarm sound from his computer was too loud. A blond nurse entered his room and asked gently, "Are you alright?"
Blake turned his head and glanced at the sunny weather outside the window. "I want to go out for a walk. When my mom was around, she used to take me to a café a couple of blocks away. Can you take me there?"
The nurse shook her head. "You're not in a condition to go out right now."
Blake looked at her. His clear, bottomless eyes were fixed on the nurse's face. "I want to go."
The little one's eyes were filled with seriousness and stubbornness.
The nurse hesitated for a moment, but she couldn't resist his innocent gaze.
"Only this one time, okay?"
"Thank you." He expressed his gratitude and followed the nurse out with his laptop and hard drive.
The air outside the ward was nice, and the sunlight was abundant.
Sitting in the wheelchair, Blake felt a bit melancholy as he looked at the people and lively scenes outside.
He had always refused to let mommy go back to find that man.
He even threatened not to live if mommy didn't leave.
He looked at the bright sunshine outside.
He was only five years old. How could he not want to keep on living?
The nurse took him to the café.
Blake ordered a glass of lemonade, sat on the chair, and opened his laptop.
Although the computer had been formatted, there was still a file when he turned it on.
Opening it, there was a line of text:
"Don't let me find you.
- Jasper."
Had he started resorting to threats?
Blake smirked faintly and connected the spare hard drive to the computer. Then, anonymously, he sent an email to Jasper.
Jasper received the email.
Inside the email was a video.
In this video, Molly sat in front of the computer, wearing a pair of huge glasses, and frowned at the code on the computer screen.
After a while, as if she suddenly realized something, she started typing rapidly on the keyboard to decipher the code.
Ryan, standing next to him, looked at the computer screen in shock. "Sir, was that Miss Collins?"
"It wasn't her."
Jasper lifted the coffee cup and took a gentle sip. "The program on her computer is very basic, and the decryption method she used isn't correct. The person I just faced online was an expert; it couldn't have been her."
Ryan nodded, somewhat understanding.
"Go to Molly's house." Jasper set down the coffee cup, stood up, and walked toward the office door with long strides.
Ryan followed closely, a little confused. "But, sir, didn't you just confirm that it wasn't Miss Collins?"
Why did they have to go to Miss Collins's house now?
Jasper's tall figure stepped onto the elevator. "If I'm not mistaken, that video was probably recorded by Molly to show off or for some other purpose. But this video has never been publicly released on the internet."
Ryan suddenly realized something. "Does it mean they invaded Miss Collins's computer?"
"Not only that." Jasper looked at the closed elevator door with a deep gaze. "The person sent this video with a purpose. This matter is somewhat related to Molly."
Ryan nodded. "You are always thinking ahead, sir."
"Call Adeline over. We'll go together." Jasper rubbed his aching forehead and spoke calmly.
Today, she was a victim, and he had to give her an explanation.
At Molly's House
Molly, dressed in silk pajamas, was drinking tea and looking at the computer with her agent.
On the screen, the comments from the trolls insulting Adeline kept refreshing.
"Does a prostitute really think she deserves Mr. Foster?"
"I feel sick. This homewrecker deserves to die!"
"So here's the question: does Jasper really love Molly? They should fire this maid immediately!"
"This one." Molly proudly pointed at the comment that made Jasper fire Adeline. "Give me a hundred more of these types of comments."
"Oh no, a thousand, ten thousand!" She slammed her credit card on the table. "I have money!"
"A presumptuous maid dares to challenge me!"
She would let that woman know what cyberbullying and offending someone meant!
The agent quickly took out her phone and tried to please Molly. "Molly, is it a thousand or ten thousand comments?"
"Ten thousand!" Molly waved her hand, wearing a face full of satisfaction. "If we're going to do it, let's go all the way and ruin that woman!"
The agent nodded. She was about to contact the paid commenters when the doorbell rang.
"The takeout arrived quickly!" Molly raised an eyebrow. She had just ordered a big meal to celebrate.
"I'll get it!"
The agent eagerly got up and rushed to open the door.
But what she saw outside left her dumbfounded.
