Chapter 678 I Am Here to Send You to Hell

Jasper's words made Adeline's face flush even more.

She bit her lip, her voice barely above a whisper, "Actually... it's only been a few days."

Technically, she was less than a month pregnant, so she shouldn't have been experiencing any symptoms.

Mia noticed how disheveled Adeline looked yesterday, so she brought over a pregnancy test this morning.

And the result she was indeed pregnant.

Even Adeline was a bit shocked.

After her last miscarriage, there had only been that one night at the hotel with Jasper, when Molly had drugged her.

Who would have thought that just one time would result in another pregnancy?

Six years ago, she had tried so hard, and it took two years of marriage to finally conceive Jasper's child.

But now, it happened so easily.

Maybe it was fate.

Perhaps God saw how pitiful their lost child was and decided to bless them with another.

Jasper's entire demeanor changed with excitement at Adeline's words.

He leaned in close, gently nibbling her earlobe, "Adeline. This might be the only good news I've heard in a long time."

Lily had passed away.

His biological father and Rex had conspired to kill Lily just to take his inheritance.

Any one of these events was enough to depress him for a long time.

But at this moment, Adeline had given him a huge surprise.

Jasper kissed Adeline's face repeatedly.

Finally, he hugged her tightly and sighed. "If only Grandma could see this day."

His words made Adeline's heart sink.

She sighed, holding his hand. "Grandma will see it."

Jasper nodded, took a deep breath, and led Adeline to the car parked nearby.

As soon as they sat down, Mia's short video came through.

The video showed the scene of Nathan and Rex preparing for the signing of the equity transfer.

The venue was extremely luxurious. There were extravagant flowers, red wine, champagne, high-end pastries, and various luxurious decorations.

The venue had seating for thousands of reporters and guests, each seat accompanied by high-end pastries and small gifts.

Even the names on the seat numbers were in black with gold plating.

Every detail was meticulously prepared.

Those conveyed Nathan's excitement and anticipation. As he watched the video, Jasper's eyes grew darker.

Putting down his phone, Jasper started the car and headed straight for the signing venue with Adeline.

The most luxurious reception center in Radiance Springs was packed.

Reporters from all over the city and various influential people from high society had been invited to this grand equity transfer signing ceremony.

Nathan stood on stage, elegantly and gentlemanly answering reporters' questions.

"Mr. Nathan Foster, although you have an agreement with Mr. Jasper Foster that if he doesn't find evidence after the autopsy, he will transfer the equity, the results aren't out yet. Isn't it a bit premature to have the venue ready?"

"What's wrong with that?" Nathan sneered at the reporter, a hint of displeasure in his eyes. "Jasper's behavior is a joke. In blunt terms, it's a disgrace to my mother's corpse! All the evidence is clear, yet he insists on an autopsy."

He continued, "Have you ever seen a murder case with clear evidence overturned by an autopsy? Jasper is just being malicious! So today's bet, he is bound to lose. Is there anything wrong with me preparing everything in advance?"

The questioning reporter frowned at Nathan's retort. "But Mr. Nathan Foster, what if Mr. Jasper Foster really..."

"Impossible!" Nathan snorted, glancing into the distance, "Security, get this troublesome reporter out of here!"

The reporter didn't even have time to respond before being dragged away by security.

Nathan stood there, coldly watching the reporter being taken away, muttering.

"Such bad luck. How dare you say such unpleasant things on such a joyous day?"

He then looked up, continuing to smile at the reporters in front of him. "Any other questions?"

The reporters exchanged glances, no one daring to ask about Jasper anymore.

"Mr. Nathan Foster, once you acquire the Foster Group's equity, how do you plan to manage the Foster Group?"

"After taking over the Foster Group, will you run it yourself or hand it over to your son Rex?"

"Do you think the Foster Group will be more successful under you and Rex than under Jasper?"

In the audience, Mia sat in a corner, feeling nauseated by Nathan's sanctimonious demeanor, almost ready to vomit the coffee she had just drunk.

She glanced at the time.

Where were Jasper and Adeline?

If they didn't show up soon, she was going to leave.

She had no patience or time to watch these pompous fools pretend to be knowledgeable.

At that moment, someone hurriedly approached Nathan on stage and whispered to him.

Nathan's eyes lit up as a smile spread across his wrinkled face.

Nathan quickly dismissed the reporters interviewing him and arranged the company's shareholders and legal staff on one side of the stage.

Finally, he pulled Rex, whose face was still bruised, to the center of the stage.

Nathan took the microphone, speaking excitedly, "Everyone! The main event has arrived! I just received word that the forensic team at the police station has completed the autopsy and found no substantial evidence. This proves I was right! Jasper's so-called autopsy was a disrespect to the Foster family elders, trampling on their dignity! Such a person has no right to continue managing the Foster family!"

He grew more excited. "Jasper must have realized that his intentions couldn't escape my sharp eyes, and there's no use in resisting. So he wisely gave up and is now outside the venue."

Nathan took a deep breath and said, "Let's give a warm welcome to Jasper! Let's give this man, who once made waves in Radiance Springs, his final dignity and respect!"

As Nathan finished speaking, applause erupted in the venue.

Jasper, holding Adeline, strode into the venue, finally standing in front of Nathan and Rex.

Nathan gave Jasper a cold, sidelong glance, then looked at Adeline in his arms.

Adeline was beautiful, but she wasn't really worth Jasper sacrificing so much.

The Foster family's assets were beyond most people's wildest dreams!

And now, because of Adeline, they were about to fall into his hands.

How could he not be excited!

Nathan took a deep breath, suppressing his excitement, and looked at Jasper.

"Jasper, I'm glad you came here to transfer the equity as agreed."

Jasper gave him a faint look, "I'm also glad you prepared such a nice farewell party for yourself."

"What?" Nathan almost thought he misheard.

Jasper chuckled softly, speaking slowly, "Nathan, I'm not here to transfer the equity to you. I'm here to send you to hell."
