Chapter 874 How is Dad...

Tamsin's words hit Adeline like a slap in the face.

Adeline sat in the car, feeling a chill that cut to the bone, despite it being June.

He actually helped Randy escape just to keep her locked up a few more days?

Who was Randy?

He was the dirtiest, most disgusting member of the Torres family, with blood on his hands.

Brandon liked to play mind games and use his power against others.

But Randy was different.

All the bloody work and dirty business of the Torres family were handled by him.

Randy killed without blinking, his hands stained with sin.

And Jasper helped someone like that?

And this time, Randy had killed Giselle.

A woman who had worked for Jasper for over six months and had always been kind to him.

Every time Adeline saw Giselle at Jasper's house, she was either bringing him food or tending to his wounds.

Even though there were many conflicts between Adeline and Giselle, she had to admit that Giselle was genuinely dedicated to Jasper.

But such a young, beautiful woman who cared for Jasper was killed by Randy.

And Jasper, for his own selfish reasons, helped Randy escape!

Seeing Adeline in a daze in the back seat, Tamsin, afraid she wouldn't believe her, took out her phone.

"These are photos taken by a passerby when Jasper's men helped Randy escape."

Adeline frowned and took the phone.

The images on the screen made her bite her lip hard.

The photos showed two men in black helping Randy escape, racing with the police.

Their height, build, and clothes were identical to Jasper's security team.

Jasper's security team members all had the same height, build, and wore the same clothes.

Exactly like in the photos.

These photos, along with the fact that Randy wanted to see Jasper first after confessing, clearly told Adeline how ruthless Jasper was.

To achieve his goals, what wouldn't Jasper do?

Seeing the disappointment and despair in Adeline's eyes, a flash of satisfaction crossed Tamsin's face.

After a moment, she took a deep breath and started the car.

"Jasper is indeed ruthless."

"We need to be careful in our fight against him."

"Especially you, Adeline. You can't let your emotions get the better of you. Your personality is Jasper's best angle of attack."

Adeline closed her eyes and nodded firmly.

"I understand."

From now on, she would never soften her heart towards Jasper.

At the police station.

Visitation room.

Randy smiled at Jasper.

"I didn't expect that after following Fiona and Brandon's orders and doing so many bad things to you, you'd be the one to care for me in the end."

Jasper raised an eyebrow, not understanding what Randy meant.

He cared for him?

What a joke.

Seeing Jasper not respond, Randy wasn't angry.

"Right, I'm a prisoner now. If you admit to helping me, you'd be committing a crime too."

"Let's not say it. We both understand."

Randy took a deep breath, his eyes fixed on Jasper.

"I'm likely facing the death penalty this time."

"So I have nothing to lose. I want to tell you something about the Phoebe family and the Foster family from years ago."

Jasper's brow furrowed deeply. "You're from the Torres family, a junior member. The Phoebe family and the Foster family had nothing to do with the Torres family. And these grudges are from the previous generation. As a junior, I don't know the full story. How could you know?"

"But I do."

Randy took a deep breath. "If I'm not mistaken, a man named Kurt will appear by Fiona's side in a few days. This man used to help Fiona with her misdeeds."

He squinted at Jasper, his gaze seeming to pierce through him to a distant place. "Kurt played a significant role in the hatred between the Phoebe family and the Foster family."

He then asked the guard for paper and a pen, writing down the address of a bank safe deposit box. "This is where I keep important items. There's not much money, but there are some valuable documents I intended to use to save my life. But now the Torres family has completely abandoned me, so I'm giving these to you."

He handed the paper with the safe deposit box number and password to Jasper. "Hope it helps you."

Jasper squinted at it. "I'll take it for now. After you die, I'll make sure you get a decent burial plot."

That was the greatest kindness he could offer someone like Randy. Nothing more.

Randy laughed heartily. "I've lived my whole life, and the one to find me a burial plot is you. My family doesn't care about me, not a single one!"

He laughed until tears came. Finally, the visitation time ended, and the guard took the still-laughing Randy away.

"By the way, Jasper."

After a few steps, Randy suddenly turned back. He broke free from the guard's grip, grabbed Jasper's collar, and whispered in his ear, "I have to tell you one more thing. Your and Adeline's biological child, she..."

Tamsin didn't take Adeline back to her small courtyard or the Phoebe Mansion but directly to the hospital.

Tamsin parked the car outside the hospital. "Get out."

Adeline instinctively looked out the window. "Why are we at the hospital?"

Tamsin locked the car and smirked. "Aren't you curious? Why, when the whole city knew you were being released today, none of your family came to pick you up, and it was me who did?"

Adeline paused, a bad feeling rising in her heart. She widened her eyes, staring at Tamsin. "You mean..."

"18th floor, go see for yourself."

As soon as Tamsin finished speaking, Adeline opened the car door and rushed inside.

The elevator stopped on the 18th floor. As soon as Adeline stepped out, she was stopped by bodyguards.

After confirming she was Adeline from the Phoebe family, they let her in.

Adeline rushed in, the first thing she saw was Oliver, sitting on a bench in the hallway, disheveled and with bloodshot eyes.

Seeing Adeline, he forced a smile. "You're here."

Adeline bit her lip. "How's Dad?"

Just then, a piercing scream from a middle-aged man came from the nearby hospital room.

Mum, the Billionaire Dad's Popping the Question to You!
