Chapter 784 You Have to Stand Up for Me!

Inside the Phoebe Mansion living room.

Daisy finished the fruit from the platter and was about to head upstairs.

Oliver, lounging nearby, stretched out his long leg to block her path between the sofa and the table.

"Just woke up and already heading back to your room?"

Oliver's sharp eyes scanned the kiss marks on Daisy's neck, a faint, indifferent smile playing on his lips.

"Were you home all night?"

Daisy shot him a glare. "None of your business!"

"If you were home, it is my business."

Oliver smirked, pointing at the marks on her neck. "Had a wild night?"

Daisy froze, instinctively glancing at the nearby glass.

Sure enough.

Her neck was covered in red kiss marks!

Daisy bit her lip and quickly covered her neck with her hand. "I wasn't feeling well, so I got a massage. That's all."

Damn Brandon, still the same as six years ago, biting wherever he pleased without considering if she had to face people!

"Really?"

Oliver raised an eyebrow and glanced at the time. "They're here."

As soon as Oliver finished speaking, the door to the mansion opened.

Adeline and Dennis walked in together.

Dennis elegantly carried a medical kit over. "Let's get started."

Daisy frowned. "Started with what?"

"Blood tests."

Oliver gracefully extended his arm.

Dennis quickly drew blood from Oliver.

After finishing with Oliver, he drew blood from Adeline.

Finally, Oliver took the tools and approached Daisy. "Ms. Phoebe, extend your arm."

Daisy immediately became wary.

She quickly hid her hand behind her back. "What for?"

"Oliver suspects he was drugged last night."

Adeline calmly rolled down her sleeve. "So we want to check if the drug was in the drinks or the food."

"I didn't drink last night, only ate. You two had both drinks and food."

Daisy's face turned pale upon hearing this.

She kept her arm tightly behind her back. "I'm not feeling well, I can't give blood!"

Dennis smirked.

"Ms. Phoebe, if you're not feeling well, you should definitely give blood."

"I'm a doctor, I can prescribe the right treatment for you."

Daisy continued to shake her head and retreat.

Oliver elegantly crossed his legs, his voice cold.

"Are you so afraid of a blood test because you're the one who did the drugging?"

Oliver's words made Daisy clench her fists tightly at her sides.

"I didn't drug anyone! How dare you accuse me?"

"We'll find out soon enough."

With that, Oliver waved his hand, and two servants rushed over to hold Daisy down.

Dennis quickly rolled up Daisy's sleeve.

As soon as her arm was exposed, Adeline clearly saw the dense kiss marks on Daisy's arm.

Whether Daisy was drugged like Oliver... it was clear from her arm.

But Dennis still drew her blood.

"Oliver! You're using private punishment on me!"

As the needle pierced Daisy's vein, she couldn't help but start cursing.

"I'm going to tell Dad!"

"I'm going to report you!"

"I'm going to get you kicked out of the Phoebe family!"

"Go ahead."

Oliver stood up, looking down at Daisy being held on the sofa for the blood draw.

"Get him to kick me out of the Phoebe family as soon as possible."

"If he doesn't kick me out, you're useless!"

"You!"

Oliver's words only fueled the fire in Daisy's eyes.

"Oliver! You deserve to never find your child's mother, to never find true love! I curse you to be alone forever! I curse you to never find the girl from your childhood, and to never find your child's mother!"

Daisy's words made Oliver's eyes darken.

He stormed over and grabbed Daisy by the neck, his anger boiling over.

"Say one more word, I dare you."

This time, he used a lot of force.

Within seconds, Daisy's face turned red and then blue from lack of oxygen.

Adeline and Dennis quickly pulled him away.

"Oliver!"

"Oliver!"

With their intervention, Oliver finally let go of Daisy.

Gasping for breath, Daisy clutched her neck, coughing violently before scrambling upstairs in a sorry state.

Oliver, held down by Dennis and Adeline, looked grim.

"Why get angry with her?"

Dennis sighed, patting Oliver's shoulder. "You'll find them."

Then Dennis turned and took out a machine, starting to process the three blood samples in front of them.

Oliver remained on the sofa, his expression dark, exuding a strong, unapproachable aura.

Adeline handed him a glass of juice, frowning.

"What did she mean just now?"

"I know about Joseph's mom... but what about the girl from your childhood?"

Dennis, working nearby, spoke up helplessly.

"Didn't you get sent to an orphanage back then and get switched with Daisy? After you were sent to the orphanage, Oliver was very upset and went to find you. But he was young and went to the wrong orphanage, where he met a girl who liked to wear red. He thought she was pretty and wanted to bring her home as his wife. Later, Mrs. Phoebe brought him back, and he's been thinking about that girl ever since."

Dennis's words left Adeline stunned.

She turned to look at the lean, stern Oliver in front of her.

Like Jasper, he had a strong, unapproachable aura, making him a magnet for countless women.

But who would have thought... her brother had such a pure heart?

"When he grew up, he went back to that orphanage to look for her, but she had been taken away shortly after he left. Oliver has been searching for her for years..."

"Shut up."

Oliver finally frowned, cutting Dennis off. "Do your job!"

Dennis stuck his tongue out at Adeline, then continued his work in silence.

Upstairs.

Daisy returned to her room, growing angrier and more fearful the more she thought about it.

If Dennis's test results came out, Oliver would definitely expose her for drugging Adeline.

She had to act first!

Taking a deep breath, Daisy quickly changed clothes and headed downstairs.

"Where are you going?"

In the living room, Oliver gave her a cold glance and asked icily.

"Dad's coming back soon, I'm going to pick him up."

With that, she walked out the door.

Oliver watched her back with a cold smile.

Dad? He'd like to see if Howard would still recognize this fake daughter after learning what Daisy tried to do to his real one!

Outside the Phoebe Mansion.

A black Bentley pulled up.

As soon as Howard opened the car door, Daisy ran up crying.

"Dad! You have to stand up for me! Oliver drugged me!"
