Chapter 34 Emergency Rescue
The agent was dumbfounded by the slap.
Lying on the ground, she looked at Molly in confusion. "Molly, you told me to do it..."
How did everything suddenly become her fault?
"When did I ask you to do something like this?" Molly slapped her again. "I told you not to do these meaningless things, but you didn't listen to me at all!"
After saying that, she looked at Jasper with tears in her eyes. "Jasper, Adeline... It's my fault for not managing the agent properly. You can hate me and blame me. I'll accept all of it."
She wiped away a tear.
"Thank you. If you hadn't come, I would've never known that she would use my computer for such things!"
Adeline curled her lips in a cold smile. Molly's acting skills were great!
Jasper also furrowed his brows slightly. "Didn't you know anything about her using your computer for these things?"
"Of course not," Molly said with a helpless expression. "You know, I'm not good with these things. For me, a computer is just for watching videos and checking emails. I don't know anything else."
"Jasper, don't worry." She took a deep breath and looked at Jasper sincerely. "I'll make sure the company fires this agent."
Upon hearing that Molly was going to change her agent, the agent who had been knocked down to the ground immediately got up and pointed at Molly. "You bitch! I brought you up from nothing, and now you want to fire me because of this? Every single publicity stunt was your idea, and now you're blaming it all on me!"
After saying that, she glanced at Jasper and said, "Mr. Foster, I really didn't do this!"
"Then maybe it was me?" Molly kicked her again, knocking the agent down once more.
Then she reached out and tugged at Jasper's sleeve. "Jasper, we've been together for so many years. You should know me. I've always wanted to keep you from being in the spotlight because of my work. I don't need this kind of publicity."
She thought her lies were seamless, but in front of Adeline, they were all full of loopholes.
For example, Adeline had the transfer records that Bennett had sent her on her phone.
The transfer was made from a bank account, and it was clearly Molly's account.
With this in mind, Adeline smiled and walked over. She helped the agent up and said, "I have a question."
The agent looked at her.
"Do you know Miss Collins's bank card password?"
The agent froze, thinking that this woman was going to accuse her of embezzling Molly's money.
She quickly shook her head.
"That's good then." Adeline turned to Jasper and said, "Mr. Foster can check and see whose account was used to transfer the money to the troll company. If it's the company account or the agent's personal account, then it must be the agent's doing."
"But if it's Miss Collins's account," she smiled and said, "then Miss Collins, even if she's not the mastermind, would be aware of this."
Jasper let go of Molly's hand. "Ryan."
"Yes!" Ryan complied and left quickly.
Taking advantage of Jasper's distraction, Molly gave Adeline a wicked glare.
This woman was clearly here to stir up trouble!
She would make her pay sooner or later!
But for now, she needed to resolve the issue with the bank account.
With this in mind, she wiped away a tear with a touch of grievance. "Jasper, actually, before you all arrived, I was arguing with the agent. The reason for our argument was that the agent secretly took my bank card password and used my money."
She lowered her head and continued, "I didn't want to say this. It's too embarrassing. I gave her the bank card password out of kindness. I thought she needed money, but she secretly used a lot of it."
After a moment, she bit her lip. "But now Adeline wants to determine whether I was aware of it or not, and I feel so wronged. I really don't know anything, and I only let the agent use my money and computer."
However, the result was that she got dirt thrown at her.
"You're talking nonsense!" The agent retorted fiercely. "I clearly don't know your password!"
Molly retorted back, "Do you dare admit that you knew? Using my money without permission is theft, and you'll be taken to court for it!"
The agent remained silent.
Adeline calmly raised an eyebrow and said, "Regardless, Miss Collins is innocent, right?"
"Actually, Miss Collins doesn't need to rush to clear her name because, based on Mr. Foster's level of affection for Miss Collins, even if she did it, he wouldn't do anything to her."
"I didn't do it, and I didn't know anything!" Molly clenched her teeth tightly. "It has nothing to do with me. Why should I admit it?"
The two of them argued incessantly.
Jasper rubbed his temples and sat down on the nearby sofa.
"Adeline," he said coldly. "Stop talking."
The man's words caused Adeline to pause suddenly.
After a moment, a self-deprecating smile appeared on her lips. "Alright, I won't say anything."
In the end, Molly was still the one he loved the most.
No matter what Molly did, he could tolerate it.
Molly hired people to secretly take photos of them while shopping and orchestrated rumors online, letting her be vilified by millions.
But all Adeline did was argue with Molly.
Yet he told her to shut up.
Furthermore, although she was being criticized, she was just an unknown maid, while he was the CEO of the Foster Group.
Clearly, this incident hurt him more than it hurt her, yet he didn't show any anger. He even forbade her from arguing with Molly.
If this isn't true love, then what is?
Back then, she lost to Molly in the same way, didn't she?
Those who are favored have nothing to fear.
The air in the living room became heavy.
After a while, the apartment door opened.
Ryan walked in with some documents. He looked at Jasper. He wanted to say something but hesitated.
Molly slapped her agent again. "Are you satisfied now? How could you use my account for these disgraceful things?!"
Ignoring the woman's words, Jasper reached out to take the documents from Ryan's hand.
"I found it." Ryan bit his lip, looking somewhat uncomfortable as he glanced at Jasper and then at Molly. "The documents show that the account used to pay the troll company belongs to Miss Collins's agency."
One sentence shocked everyone present.
Adeline furrowed her brow, her gaze complicated.
No, Bennett sent it to her.
The transfer details unmistakably belonged to Molly's personal account!
How did it suddenly become the company account?
