Chapter 392 Apologize to Miss Wilson

Hazel became increasingly convinced that her judgment was correct.

Clearly, the issue could be resolved through compensation, but Adeline refused to pay and instead brought Hazelto Jasper to seek justice. Wasn't this just an attempt to slander Luna and create a rift between her and Jasper?

Thinking this, she glared angrily at Adeline, then turned her gaze to Jasper with resentment evident in her eyes. "Mr. Foster, you should fire her! Keeping her in your company will eventually harm Ms. Jones!"

"You just said you wanted to fire my assistant, and now you want to fire me?" Adeline said with a smirk, then she raised an eyebrow as she glanced at Jasper. "What do you think, Mr. Foster?"

Jasper frowned slightly, taken aback by the escalation of the situation..

He had initially thought it was merely a quarrel between Hazel and a stranger, but it turned out to be with Adeline's associates.

He hadn't anticipated Adeline's relentless stance. He understood that her behavior stemmed not from Hazel's aggression but from Hazel's backing by Luna.

He sighed, pondering when Adeline had become like this?

Her jealousy was palpable, and she seemed excessively fond of arguing..

Did she realize that by hurting Luna, the ultimate consequence would fall upon Blake?

"Adeline," Jasper said, looking at her helplessly. "Can't we just let this go?"

"No," Adeline replied firmly, standing up. "When Luna said she was set up by Anne and spilled coffee on her, why couldn't Mr. Foster let it go for my sake?

"Luna's employee can insult me, claiming a five hundred dollar dress to be worth fifty thousand, extorting Timothy. But I can't hold a grudge and must let it go for your sake?”"

After saying this, Adeline coldly stared into Jasper's eyes, her voice icy and devoid of warmth. "Mr. Foster, do you think your think your opinion matters to me?"

The hallway instantly fell silent.

Lucia, Robert, and Hazel all looked at Adeline in shock.

No one expected Adeline to say such things to Jasper.

Jasper's expression darkened. "Adeline!" he said impatiently.

Adeline said, "What, can't Mr. Foster handle the truth?

"Mr. Foster killed my two children, refused to pay for Blake and Lauren's medical bills, and found a mistress while Blake was seriously ill.

"Do you think you still hold any significance in my life?

"Not to mention, you even condone Luna coming before me, incessantly harassing and bullying my assistants with her servants.

"Jasper, who do you think you are?"

How could Jasper hurt her like this, and why should she give in to Luna?

Today, she wouldn't back down and yield. She wanted to see how far Jasper would go for Luna!

Jasper looked at her, his eyes cold. "Are you sure you want to talk to me like this?"

He took a step forward, directly grabbing Adeline by the neck and pinning her against the wall.

Jasper's eyes were filled with rage. He threatened, "Don't forget. You are in desperate need of money! Do you believe I won't fire you and make every company in Radiance Springs refuse to hire you?"

Adeline looked into his furious eyes, her heart breaking.

She bit her lip in grievance and said, "You won't."

"I can completely not care about Blake and Lauren. In his rage, Jasper had lost all reason and interrupted Adeline. "I already stopped providing them with medical expenses. Don't you guess why?

"Whether they live or die, does it have anything to do with me?

"I didn't know about their birth, I wasn't involved in their growth, so their illness should have nothing to do with me. Why should I pay for two little things I've known for less than half a year?"

Adeline thought, 'So, this is his true thought, isn't it?

Only in such extreme anger would he speak the truth, right?

It turned out that all his affection for Blake and Lauren was just a facade. His coldness and indifference were exactly the same from six years ago.

Yet she had foolishly believed, based on a few words from Jason, that he cared about her, Blake and Lauren.

Adeline closed her eyes, bitterness creeping onto her face. "I understand Mr. Foster's attitude now. I will try not to provoke Ms. Jones in the future."

She indeed needed money right now. Moreover, she couldn't leave Radiance Springs.

Because the doctor said that the volunteer who could provide bone marrow for Blake had finally come to Radiance Springs and was unwilling to go elsewhere.

She couldn't leave, nor could she stop working to earn money.

Radiance Springs was Jasper's territory. She needed money, needed to stay here, needed to treat Blake and Lauren, and provide them with a good living environment.

So what couldn't she endure?

She had already endured the pain of nearly dying once before.

The despair on Adeline's face stung Jasper. He hadn't intended to speak harshly to her. But if he didn't, he feared Adeline would provoke Luna again.

If Luna's emotions became unstable and her health deteriorated, it would affect Blake. Blake's condition was urgent. Similarly, Luna didn't have much time left either.

"Mr. Foster." Just as Jasper was lost in thought, Lucia rushed up in a panic and grabbed Jasper's arm.

Jasper frowned and snapped back to reality, realizing he had unconsciously tightened his grip on Adeline's neck.

She was already struggling to breathe, her face flushed, yet she didn't make a sound.

Jasper quickly released her..

Finally able to breathe, Adeline's body slid down the wall and collapsed on the floor.

She still remained silent.

When Lucia rushed over to hold her hand, Adeline let out a faint laugh and weakly reassured Lucia, "I'm fine."

Jasper's eyes were filled with pain. The current Adeline looked like a fragile doll, silent, delicate, and stubborn.

The scene before her left Hazel completely stunned. She glanced at Adeline, then at Jasper, and almost pieced together their relationship.

No wonder Adeline was so indignant about Ms. Jones and Mr. Foster. It turned out she was Mr. Foster's ex-wife!

Hazel snorted coldly, looking down at Adeline. "You were right earlier; you shouldn't provoke Ms. Jones casually."

"You should know, Ms. Jones came to Radiance Springs for your..." Hazel was interrupted by the sudden opening of the hospital room door.

A pale-faced Luna pushed the door open, delicately leaning against the door frame and coughing. "Jasper."

"So." Tears welled up in her eyes. "So Ms. Wilson is the mother of your two children."

After saying this, Luna looked up pitifully at Jasper. "I heard everything you just said. You were really a bit too harsh."

Luna continued, lowering her gaze at Adeline sitting on the floor. "Ms. Wilson, don't misunderstand. Jasper was just speaking out of anger.

"Even if there's no love between you anymore, you did give birth to his children. He wouldn't really be that heartless.

"I will persuade him to treat you better in the future, because you have it tough too."

As she spoke, Luna looked up at Jasper. "Jasper, apologize to Ms. Wilson."
