Chapter 892 Create a Car Accident
Linda's words left Adeline frozen in place.
She was silent for a moment, then shook her head.
"How could that be possible?"
"I was born at home, Daisy was born in the city hospital. There's no way we were switched."
Linda rolled her eyes.
"I'm not talking about a mix-up."
"What if someone did it on purpose?"
"Have you ever thought that the person who gave birth to a stillborn might have been Daisy?"
"She could have been punished by God, and her child might not have wanted to call her mom. It's possible!"
Linda's words made Adeline laugh.
"That's ridiculous."
But Linda didn't give up.
She glanced at the hospital wristband on her arm.
They were in the same hospital room where Daisy had stayed before!
She bit her lip and quickly grabbed Adeline's arm. "Since you and Jasper are both here, why don't you go find the doctor and nurses who delivered Daisy's baby and check it out!"
"Even if Daisy didn't give birth to a stillborn, at least we can rule out one possibility and keep looking for your child!"
Even though Adeline didn't believe Patty was her child, Linda's logic was clear enough to make her reconsider.
Yes.
Even if she didn't believe it, she had to investigate to truly rule out the suspicion.
But Adeline didn't plan to involve Jasper.
She comforted Linda for a while in the hospital room, then found Linda's attending physician and asked for the location of the hospital's records room.
To investigate Daisy's delivery, she needed to find out which doctors and nurses were in the delivery room that day.
Adeline put in a lot of effort to get into the records room and, with the help of the staff, started searching for the clinical records from over a month ago.
Just then, the doctor who had taken money from Daisy to deliver her baby came in to drop off some files.
She recognized Adeline immediately, and alarm bells went off in her head.
Leaving the records room, she quickly called Daisy.
"I just saw Adeline in the hospital's records room."
"She's looking for information on the patients who gave birth over a month ago, trying to investigate the medical staff from your delivery."
On the other end of the line, Daisy was stunned.
How could Adeline suspect her so quickly?
After hanging up, she paced anxiously in the rented villa.
Even though she had bribed the doctors and nurses who attended her, if Adeline offered more money, someone might give in to the temptation.
The consequences would be unimaginable!
And the most pressing issue now was that the forged DNA test report linking Jasper and Adeline to Patty hadn't been obtained yet!
Thinking of this, she snapped back to reality.

The immediate priority was to get the forged DNA test report.
If Adeline really discovered that Patty had been switched, she could use the DNA test report to threaten Adeline!
She had originally planned to use Patty to threaten Adeline and Jasper, but Brandon had always said the timing wasn't right.
Now that Adeline had started investigating, she might as well go with the flow!
With this in mind, she called the DNA testing center while driving there.
Getting the DNA test results went off without a hitch.
Even though Daisy had labeled the hair and nails as Patty's, the hair was actually from Lauren, who was far away in Radiance Springs.
Daisy's people had spent over a month working at the kindergarten in Radiance Springs to get that hair and nails.
As she left the testing center, Daisy received a call from an unknown number.
She frowned and answered.
"Daisy, thanks to you, Oliver found me."
Tamsin's cold voice came through the phone.
She laughed, her voice as icy as winter frost.
"You're just as annoying as you were years ago!"
Hearing Tamsin's furious voice, Daisy couldn't help but smile.
"Tamsin, this is what happens when you don't pay me."
She smiled smugly.
"I told you, even though I no longer have the Phoebe family name, you still can't boss me around."
"I haven't even told Oliver about how you and our sisters conspired against Adeline."
"Why do you think we know Thomas Turner? It's all because of you!"
After saying this, Daisy seemed to remember something and slapped her forehead.
"Oh, Tamsin, you probably don't know, do you?"
"Back then, because you couldn't have children, you bribed Thomas to have his girlfriend spend a night with Oliver, resulting in Joseph's birth."
"Do you know who that woman is now? She's Oliver's current girlfriend, Mia!"
"Not only does Oliver like her, but Joseph also likes her. He's even taking care of Oliver's daughter now."

"But Tamsin, if you want me to keep this from Oliver, there's a way."
"You've been abroad for years, you must have some money. Now you're Adeline's right-hand woman."
"Five million dollars, you can manage that, right?"
On this end, Tamsin stood by the window, her eyes coldly fixed outside.
"Do you want cash?"
Seeing that Tamsin didn't reject her demand, Daisy was overjoyed.
She smiled. "Of course."
After saying this, she took a deep breath. "You know, if you'd been this willing to pay six years ago, you wouldn't be in this mess now, don't you think?"
Tamsin smiled coldly, her voice icy.
"The usual place, the abandoned warehouse in the north of the city. I'll bring the money myself."
"But remember, no more lies in front of Oliver!"
Daisy smiled smugly. "Of course."
After saying this, she hung up the phone.
Listening to the busy tone, Tamsin narrowed her eyes.
Putting down the phone, she quietly dialed another number.
"Take care of someone for me."
"She's heading to the abandoned warehouse in the north of the city. Make it look like an accident."
