Chapter 495 Found Liam's Location

The hallway was dead quiet for a few seconds.

Finally, Luna started wiping her tears, looking all pitiful. "Jasper, look! Adeline's talking crazy again. She's so messed up she thinks I'm faking being sick."

The more Luna talked, the more upset she got. "Who in their right mind would pretend to have a terminal illness and curse themselves like that?"

Luna turned to Adeline, "Adeline, I know you're saying this stuff because you're not well, but it really hurts. If I could, I wouldn't want to have a terminal illness with less than a year to live."

Luna's voice was so pitiful it felt like the sky was falling on her.

Jasper sighed deeply, said a few comforting words to Luna, then turned to Ryan, who looked completely stunned. "Get the psychiatrist here, quick."

After that, Jasper scooped up the little one, took Luna's hand, and headed back to the ward.

Adeline stood in the hallway, watching them leave, biting her lip hard.

Just then, the little one in Jasper's arms turned his head. He peeked out from Jasper's shoulder and gave Adeline a bright smile.

That smile threw Adeline for a loop.

Blake would never smile like that. Or rather, Blake's smile was never that bright. Only Bennett had a smile that bright.

Thinking of Bennett made Adeline's heart ache all over again.

She had even suspected that the child Molly was holding was Bennett. She thought that email was a sign from Bennett.

But today, seeing the child in this setting, she knew this kid wasn't Bennett. It couldn't be Bennett. Her Bennett would never watch her suffer, let alone say such things.

Maybe this kid was just someone Molly found, a random kid who just happened to look like Bennett and Blake. Adeline's head was spinning.

She sighed, turned around, and was about to leave when Ryan, along with Tim and Tom, stopped her.

Ryan said, "Adeline, this is Mr. Foster's order."

Ryan sighed, looking at her with some pity. "Jasper said you can't go anywhere until the psychiatrist gets here."

He even patted Adeline's shoulder sympathetically. "Don't worry. You're probably just overly stressed and have been through too much lately. It can be treated; don't give up."

Adeline was stunned. After a moment, she looked up and glared coldly at Ryan. "You're the one who's mentally ill! Let go of me!"

As she shouted, Tim and Tom immediately let go of her.

They didn't dare do anything to her. They always felt guilty about Bennett's death when it came to Adeline.

Ryan frowned. "Do you two not want to work anymore? She's a patient now! And you're just going to let her go like that?"

Tim and Tom exchanged a glance, sighed, and together restrained Adeline again.

Adeline frowned, just about to say something when the elevator doors opened.

Vikram emerged, yawning, carrying a big bag of fruit. He had been waiting outside for a whole hour. By now, all the arguments should be over, right?

With a mindset of watching the drama, Vikram stepped off the elevator, only to see Adeline being restrained by Jasper's bodyguards.

He was stunned. "This is..."

"Vikram," Adeline finally saw a savior and couldn't help but shout loudly, "Come here! Save me!"

Vikram was taken aback. Adeline was calling him to save her?

He instinctively looked at the two burly men holding Adeline.

Did she really think his small frame could save her?

But since Adeline had called out, he couldn't just sit back and do nothing.

Vikram took a deep breath and walked over. "What's going on here?"

Adeline gave him a desperate look. "They want to lock me in a mental hospital; save me!"

Vikram rubbed his temples. A mental hospital? What's going on?

Although he didn't understand, he still played along and tried to pull Adeline away from Tim and Tom.

Originally, Vikram thought he would be beaten up by these two big guys, and he was even prepared to get hurt.

However, when Vikram reached Adeline, as soon as he made a move, the two big guys fell to the ground.

Vikram looked at his hands in disbelief. "This..."

"Stop talking, run!" Adeline glared at him, grabbed his arm, and rushed towards the elevator.

Ryan glared at Tim and Tom on the ground. "Chase them!"

They waved their hands. "We're injured; we can't chase."

Ryan was helpless and had to chase them himself.

But by the time he caught up, Adeline and Vikram had already closed the elevator doors.

Adeline and Vikram didn't go straight downstairs but pressed all the floor buttons, then they randomly chose a floor and hid in a storage room.

Adeline lowered her voice and told Vikram everything that had happened.

Vikram was silent for a while. "No wonder I was confused downstairs; I saw Blake, but he told me he didn't recognize me. I thought the little guy was joking with me, but it turns out there's really a kid who looks exactly like Blake. So, now there are two Blakes, one real and one fake. Now the fake Blake is with Jasper, badmouthing you, trying to get you into a mental hospital."

Vikram frowned and looked at Adeline. "Where's the real Blake?"

Adeline froze.

Adeline thought, 'Since the Blake with Jasper is fake, where is my real Blake?'

Adeline was so agitated and angry just now that she almost forgot! What she should do now was not explain to Jasper or expose the fake Blake and Luna. She needed to find her real Blake!

Otherwise, if Blake fell into Molly's hands, the consequences would be unimaginable! But where to find Blake?

"By the way," Vikram frowned. "When I met the fake Blake downstairs, I talked to him. I saw the name on his wristband. It read Liam."

Adeline frowned at him, not understanding his point.

Vikram took a deep breath. "Here's the thing. This is a hospital and there are cameras everywhere. They can't just openly kidnap someone. Since the kid named Liam is now pretending to be Blake, Blake's current identity should be Liam. Don't you have a friend with connections in the hospital? If we can find Liam's location, we might be able to find Blake!"
