Chapter 488 Then She Can Die in Radiance Springs
Staring at the two sentences on her computer screen, Adeline's mind was instantly flooded with memories.
Even though the previous messages had vanished, she vividly remembered them saying they were okay and that they were the ones she thought about all the time.
This email address was from her days as Moon. Besides her colleagues abroad, only Blake and Bennett knew about it.
Adeline bit her lip and quickly pulled up the photos Richard had sent her earlier. Her eyes locked onto the little boy Molly was holding.
A wild thought started to form in her mind. 'Could what Blake and Lauren always said about the triplets' telepathy be true? Could Bennett and Sebastian still be alive? Could the boy Molly was holding be Bennett? And could the person who sent Adeline the message also be Bennett?'
Thinking about this, Adeline bit her lip, her hands shaking with excitement.
She typed her question on the keyboard, replying to the anonymous email.
Adeline: [Who are you?]
Adeline: [Are you Bennett?]
After hitting send, Adeline placed her hand over her chest, trying to calm her racing heart.
She longed for a positive response, eagerly waiting for news that would make her scream with joy.
Time dragged on. Every minute waiting for the reply felt like torture.
Adeline thought that since the other person had replied instantly last time, they would do the same now.
But there she was, sitting quietly in front of the computer, waiting for a full three hours.
As the sky outside began to lighten, Adeline still hadn't received a reply.
Her emotions shifted from excitement and hope to disappointment and despair.
In the end, she figured the other person might have fallen asleep or was busy. She might get a reply any second now. So, Adeline didn't dare to turn off the computer or go to sleep.
She stubbornly sat in front of the computer, clinging to a faint hope.
She didn't know how much time had passed when her phone rang.
Adeline groggily picked up the phone. "Hello?"
"Adeline." Luna's cold, delicate voice came through the line. "Didn't we agree that after this competition, you would find a chance to leave Radiance Springs? I've already talked to Jasper. Since you're leaving with Jasper's two kids, we can provide a private jet for you. How long do you need to pack? Five hours? Ten hours? It doesn't matter. If you have a lot of stuff, a day is fine too. The private jet is waiting at the airport. With Jasper's influence, he can arrange a flight for you anytime."
Finally, Luna took a deep breath. "So Adeline, when exactly are you leaving Radiance Springs?"
The cold voice on the other end of the line instantly woke up the sleep-deprived Adeline.
Luna was pushing her to leave. Luna said she had a maximum of 24 hours.
Luna even emphasized that the private jet was waiting at the airport, ready to take them away at any time.
But Adeline didn't plan to leave so soon, especially after getting that anonymous email last night.
Thinking about this, Adeline took a deep breath. "In such a hurry to make us leave?"
Luna chuckled lightly on the other end of the line. "I'm just trying to help you out. Adeline, didn't you say you'd leave once everythings were settled? Now that it is, why aren't you in a hurry to go? Is there something you're holding onto?"
Adeline squinted her eyes. She knew exactly what Luna was getting at.
"Then Ms. Jones might be disappointed," Adeline said. "Not only will I not leave today, but I also won't leave tomorrow. But don't get it twisted, my staying in Radiance Springs has nothing to do with you or Jasper. I have my own reasons."
Adeline took a deep breath. "By the way, I appreciate your kindness. My kids and I have nothing to do with Mr. Foster anymore; we don't need him to prepare a private jet for us. When things are settled, I'll leave on my own terms."
With that, Adeline hung up the phone.
On the other end, Luna listened to the busy tone, gripping her phone tightly.
A venomous look flashed in Luna's eyes. Adeline, that bitch! Did she think Luna didn't know what Jasper did last night?
Jasper was at home with Luna, and she almost convinced him to sleep in her room that night!
But what happened? While Jasper was with her, he got a phone call and then hurriedly left.
Jasper said it was a company matter, but Luna didn't buy it, so she had someone follow him.
And she was right. Jasper first went to a hotel, carried a drunk Adeline out, and then took her home. He stayed at her place for a long time, making her hangover soup!
Luna also saw the photos of Jasper carrying Adeline out of the hotel! Adeline had her hands on Jasper's face the whole time!
Those photos made Luna burn with anger. That bitch definitely did it on purpose!
Adeline knew she couldn't handle alcohol, yet she deliberately drank with others, then had someone call Jasper to pick her up, making him worry about her!
After Jasper took Adeline home last night, his attitude towards Luna had clearly changed. What was supposed to be a night together turned into her sleeping alone!
Now Luna urged Adeline to pack up and leave swiftly, but Adeline insisted she had her own matters to attend to. What a joke! Adeline's kids' illness was cured. Thinking of this, Luna bit her lip hard and took out her phone. "Help me."
On the other end of the line, Vikram, still groggy from sleep, frowned and spoke with irritation in his voice, "What do you need help with now? Didn't we agree that last time was the final time? How many more times are you going to use Caroline to threaten me into doing things for you?"
Luna sneered on the other end of the line. "This time is different. If you can help me succeed this time, I will keep Caroline's matter to myself and never bring it up again."
Her words made Vikram pause. He instantly woke up and sat up in bed. "Tell me, what is it?"
Luna was silent for a moment, then she gritted her teeth. "I want Adeline and her two kids to have an accident and die together."
Since Adeline was unwilling to leave Radiance Springs, she might as well die there!
