Chapter 31 Don't Want to Go

Jasper didn't even look up. After a while, he spoke faintly, "You can go now. I want some time alone."

"Alright." Molly took a deep breath and left the office.

Tim and Tom were standing in the corridor outside the CEO's office, one loitering around and the other secretly calling Bennett.

"Blake, guess what I just overheard?"

"What?" Bennett, on the other end of the phone, instantly became excited.

"Grandma Foster was causing a scene in Mr. Foster's office. We heard something about canceling the engagement."

Bennett's excitement grew. "And what else?"

"We didn't catch everything, but after Grandma Foster left, Miss Collins and Mr. Foster were also discussing the possibility of canceling the engagement. We think they're going to do it sooner or later!"

"Fantastic!" Bennett took a deep breath, praised Tim and Tom, and then hung up the phone.

He couldn't resist taking out his phone and ordering a feast for delivery.

An hour later, Adeline looked at the lavish spread of food on the table. "Where did you get the money for this?"

Bennett shrugged. "I made some money working as an internet troll."

Violet frowned and said, "An internet troll?"

"Yes." Bennett smiled. "In the morning, Blake and I took on a job creating rumors." The little guy took out his phone and transferred money to Adeline.

He also sent a message to her. "After I discovered Molly's plot, I had Blake set up an internet troll company. This is the money we earned, along with the evidence of Molly's purchase of internet trolls. Please check it."

Adeline looked at her phone and found various records of Molly's trolling activities. She sighed helplessly. "So you two little rascals were helping her spread rumors about me without a care?"

"Mama, you can't put it like that." Bennett thought Adeline was really angry. He quickly put down his fork and explained earnestly, "Molly had someone take the pictures and orchestrated the rumors online. Even if Blake and I hadn't taken action, she would have found other hackers and trolling groups. And if she had hired someone else, it wouldn't have been so easy for us to get this evidence. Besides, even though you don't need the money, can't we earn a little more from Molly?"

Bennett typed anxiously. "If Mama really feels uncomfortable about it, I'll ask Blake to stop right now!"

On the balcony of Blue Bay, Adeline bathed in the breeze full of sunshine and looked at the messages on her phone.

After a while, she smiled.

"I wasn't truly angry. I just didn't expect that the two of you would be so clever," Adeline said.

In fact, she didn't really care about the abusive messages online.

After all, those ignorant people were only saying that she was a promiscuous maid who seduced her master.

Compared to six years ago, when Molly and Jasper spread rumors that she had cheated and committed suicide out of guilt, today's rumors were nothing.

Her reputation had already been destroyed completely by Jasper and Molly.

So these online discussions meant nothing to her; they couldn't harm her in any way.

Could it be that Blake and Bennett dared to be so insolent because they knew her well?

"As long as you're not bothered by it, mommy." Bennett's voice came from the phone. He finally felt relieved. "But mommy, Molly just sent us money again. She is asking us to continue stirring up the topic. Should we do it?"

"Let's do it," Adeline said, squinting slightly. "Since she's not satisfied, we'll keep going until she is."

"If she wants to make a scene, then you'll make an even bigger scene for her."

She believed that it wouldn't take long for Jasper to know the truth.

All of Molly's smugness and pride would become damning evidence against her.

Adeline actually wanted to see how far Jasper would tolerate Molly's outrageous behavior out of love!

"Okay, mommy." Bennett quickly typed a message to her. "Blake and I will keep things under control. If you feel uncomfortable with the news online at any time, let us know, and we'll stop."

"Okay."

After chatting with Bennett, Adeline looked up and sighed heavily as she gazed at the trees swaying in the wind outside the villa.

Before long, her phone rang again.

She frowned at the screen displaying "Brandon Torres" and answered the call.

"Adeline," came Brandon's deep voice from the other end of the line. "I saw the news about Denver."

The man sighed. "Why did you become Jasper's maid?"

Adeline shrugged. "It's complicated."

Actually, before returning to the country, she had prepared many plans to get close to Jasper.

But things changed so quickly that before she could implement her plans, Bennett had already introduced Lauren to Jasper.

So she had no choice but to become Jasper's maid.

Everything had deviated from her original plan.

However, she could still manage.

"Jasper's people have already started handling the rumors online."

The man's voice on the phone sounded serious. "But the person spreading the rumors seems to be an insider. Jasper is having trouble dealing with ruthless characters. Do you want me to help?"

Adeline took a deep breath. "No need."

Years ago, it was Brandon who picked her up when she was floating in the sea, barely clinging to life. He saved her, as well as the lives of her three children.

In the past six years, she has troubled him enough.

But revenge? She decided to handle it herself.

Brandon, of course, knew her thoughts. He remained silent for a moment. "I just don't want to see anyone hurt you."

"I'm used to it. It's fine."

She sighed and changed the topic. "Is Blake doing well lately?"

"He's fine."

Brandon chuckled helplessly. "Maybe he's addicted to hacking. He's practically disappearing into his computer every day. Don't worry, Blake will be fine. I'm here."

The atmosphere in the Foster Group building was heavy, making it hard to breathe.

Jasper frowned as he watched the video being copied and pasted continuously on his computer.

It was a video of him and Adeline shopping.

Despite using a significant amount of resources, he couldn't prevent the spread of these videos on the internet.

Ryan wiped the cold sweat off his forehead. "Sir, no matter what methods we employ, we can't delete these videos. They've encrypted them and embedded viruses within the video coding. Our people can't crack it."

Jasper squinted slightly.

The Foster Group had many skilled programmers. Couldn't they crack it?

He furrowed his brows, grabbed the nearby keyboard, and began to decode it himself. He quickly traced the source of the data and locked onto the perpetrator's computer.

When he was with Adeline, she was into hacker movies for a while. She used to post posters of hacker movies on her social media.

She used to think hackers were cool, capable, and courageous.

At that time, he had scoffed at her idea.

However, during his leisure time at work, he studied and learned how to become a hacker before she left.

The man sighed. It had been six years since he had done any hacking, so his skills were a bit rusty.

Nevertheless, he skillfully broke through the first layer of the opponent's firewall.

Meanwhile, in a hospital room far across the ocean, the computer began emitting a harsh warning sound.

Blake, who had dozed off, opened his eyes immediately and went to sit in front of the computer.

Had his firewall been breached?

He bit his lip, rapidly tapping on the keyboard to reinforce his second line of defense.

The opponent was a master.

Blake kept typing on the keyboard.

Sweat dripped down his forehead. This was the first time he had encountered such a formidable opponent!

Jasper's gaze fixated coldly on the computer screen. "Ryan, get me a cup of coffee."

The other party had clearly noticed his presence and was struggling to defend themselves.

Today, he wanted to see who this skilled rumor-monger really was!
