Chapter 626 How Could It Be So Serious

The reporters' cameras caught Molly looking all smug and full of herself.

Adeline was in Jasper's arms, trying to break free and charge forward, but Jasper held her back every time. She wanted to struggle but was worried about Jasper's injuries, so she didn't dare to fight too hard.

After Molly finished her little show, Jasper narrowed his eyes, glaring at her. "Where's Liam? I can get the best doctor for him, but you need to hand him over to me."

Molly smirked, "He's already been sent back to Blue Bay."

She said proudly to Jasper, "Check your phone now; you must have gotten the message."

Jasper squinted and glanced at his phone.

Sure enough, there was a message from Alice: [Bennett is back, but he's seriously hurt! Sir, I've called the family doctor! You should get a more professional doctor too; I'm afraid the family doctor can't handle it!]

Jasper's eyes went cold. If the family doctor couldn't handle it, then Bennett's condition might be worse than he thought! Thinking of this, Jasper took a deep breath, turned to Mia beside him, and said coldly, "Help her back."

With that, he let go of Adeline and was ready to leave.

Mia glanced at Jasper's pale face, quickly nodded, and stepped forward to support Adeline, helping her off the stage and towards the outside.

Molly stood on the stage, watching them leave, a smirk spreading across her lips. "Jasper, tonight I'll pack my and Liam's things, and tomorrow I'll move into Blue Bay! I'll livestream it for everyone!"

Jasper silently put his hand in his pocket, pressing tightly on the wound that had started bleeding again. "Do as you please."

With that, Jasper walked away with large strides.

Mia supported Adeline as they walked out, noticing the drops of blood on the ground, her eyes widening instantly. It turned out Jasper's wound had reopened and was this serious!

No wonder he handed Adeline to her, asking her to help Adeline back. Sighing, she leaned close to Adeline's ear and whispered, "Adeline, look at the ground."

The distraught Adeline, thinking only of getting home to see Bennett, looked down at Mia's reminder. Wherever Jasper walked, there was a trail of blood droplets on the ground. Adeline was instantly stunned, but she finally regained her composure.

How could she almost forget that Jasper's wound hadn't healed yet, and he had just pulled her off the stage? Adeline took a deep breath, pushed Mia away, and ran to Jasper's side, raising her hand to support him. "Are you okay?"

When Jasper saw her come to support him, his pale face forced a smile. "I'm fine, I can hold on."

After saying that, he almost stumbled on his next step.

Mia quickly supported him from the other side.

Jason, who had been waiting in the car, saw Jasper being helped out by two women and rushed over, "How is it?"

"It's fine now." Jasper turned and sat in the car, releasing the hand that had been pressing on his wound. A large amount of blood gushed from the wound on his abdomen.

Adeline was shocked and quickly used her hand to press on his wound. "Jason, we need to get to the hospital!"

Jason quickly jumped into the driver's seat and started the car.

Jasper slumped in the back, his voice barely a whisper. "Don't go to the hospital, go home."

He bit his lip and sighed deeply, "Call Freya and get the two best trauma doctors and an orthopedic specialist to the house. We're going home."

Jason frowned as he drove. "Jasper, I really think you should go to the hospital. With this wound, having doctors come to your house might not be enough."

"Go home," Jasper leaned back in the leather seat, his voice low, "Bennett was abused by Molly and is already at Blue Bay. I need to go home, not to the hospital. I won't be at ease until I see Bennett."

Jasper's words made Adeline, who was pressing on his wound, freeze completely. She looked up, staring blankly at Jasper. Her voice was hoarse, "Do you really care about Bennett?"

She had never felt Jasper's love for the children.

Recently, Blake and Lauren had become familiar with him, and he had gradually become more concerned about them. Jasper's current abdominal wound was caused by Bennett. She thought he didn't care.

"How could I not care?" Jasper smiled bitterly, raising his hand to touch Adeline's hair.

He added, "Do you really think I'm that heartless? Remember, Bennett is still the child you bore for me."

Adeline bit her lip, not speaking. Probably guessing what she was thinking, Jasper sighed. "Even though he has amnesia now and listens to everything Molly says. His amnesia and capture by Molly are my fault. How can I, a father who failed, blame my child?"

Jasper's words hit Adeline like a heavy storm, drenching her heart in a mix of cold and dull pain.

Since Jasper had said so, Jason had no choice but to turn the car around and head towards Blue Bay.

Mia sat in the front passenger seat, frantically dialing the hospital's number. By the time Jason drove to Blue Bay, several doctors' cars were already parked at the villa entrance.

Mia had almost called half of Radiance Springs' renowned doctors.

Getting out of the car, Jason glanced at the doctors standing at Blue Bay's entrance, the veins on his forehead throbbing uncontrollably.

He and Adeline helped Jasper inside, speaking, "Why did you call so many?"

There were even a few doctors who had brought large diagnostic machines in their cars. The entrance of Blue Bay could now practically open a large comprehensive hospital!

Mia rolled her eyes. "I'm afraid Bennett's internal organs and brain might have been damaged from the abuse. How can we be at ease without a thorough check-up?"

Jason frowned and glared at her. "How could it be that serious?"

But as soon as he finished speaking, they entered the villa.

Jason glanced at Bennett, lying on the sofa, barely alive, and instantly felt Mia was right. He had heard from Adeline and Mia that Bennett had been beaten by Molly, but he didn't think it would be that serious, as he believed Molly still needed Bennett to threaten Jasper.

He didn't expect Bennett to have been abused this extensively.

How could it be this serious?
