Chapter 600 "Then it's settled."

Rex's words pulled everyone's focus back to Bennett.

The crowd started murmuring among themselves.

Lily frowned too. Something felt off.

She was sure Jasper hadn't cheated on Adeline while they were together. But then, what about Liam?

He looked just like Blake. If they didn't share the same dad and their moms weren't sisters, this wouldn't make any sense!

No matter how much Lily thought about it, she couldn't come up with any other explanation for the kid's identity besides Bennett somehow coming back to life.

Bennett had been dead for months, killed in a massive explosion. How could he possibly be alive?

And even if he was, why would he stay with Molly, his enemy, and accuse Jasper?

Plus, when she held Liam, she could tell he was different from Bennett.

Lily was confused and looked up at Jasper with a frown, "Jasper, this kid..."

Jasper gave a faint smile, "I don't acknowledge him."

He rested his chin on one hand, a cold smirk on his lips. "In this world, it's not impossible for two unrelated people to look very similar. With today's advanced plastic surgery, how do I know if this kid really looks like this or if it's the result of surgery?"

Jasper's words made the hall buzz even louder.

Molly frowned, a cold smirk forming on her lips. She hadn't expected Jasper to flat-out deny the kid was his.

She always thought that no matter how heartless Jasper was, he wouldn't deny his own child.

She and Adeline knew exactly who this kid was. But she hadn't expected Jasper's heartlessness to be this shocking.

Molly bit her lip, quickly squatted down to hug Bennett, and pretended to cover his ears in a hurt manner. "Liam, don't listen."

Bennett stood still, stubbornly looking at Jasper, his teeth clenched tightly.

Molly told him not to listen. But he wasn't deaf; how could he not hear?

Jasper actually didn't acknowledge him.

Molly had secretly done a paternity test between him and Jasper, and that report was still under his pillow.

Jasper was his biological father!

He knew he was an illegitimate child and couldn't enjoy the same warmth as Jasper's other two kids.

But he hadn't expected Jasper to deny his identity so openly, in front of so many people.

Jasper said he wasn't his child.

Bennett might just be a kid who happened to look exactly like Blake.

Jasper even said Bennett might have had plastic surgery to look like this.

Six-year-old Bennett held back his tears.

For some reason, he had always longed for his father's affection and embrace, as if that was what he wanted most before he lost his memory.

But now, looking at Jasper, he felt unworthy.

Molly was right; Jasper was just a scumbag who liked the new and hated the old.

Because he didn't like Molly anymore, she was kicked out of Radiance Springs.

Now Molly had brought him back.

Jasper didn't even acknowledge him as his child!

Bennett's expression was all seen by Adeline.

She bit her lip, struggling to stop herself from walking over to hug him, wanting to tell him it wasn't true!

Jasper didn't deny him as his child; he just couldn't acknowledge him!

She had just taken a step when Blake stopped her. His calm eyes met Adeline's, "Don't go."

Adeline paused, then finally stopped.

Blake was more level-headed than she was.

Even if she rushed over and hugged Bennett, and even if she told him the truth right then, it wouldn't help. It would only make Bennett think she was being fake.

She could only watch as the loneliness in Bennett's eyes grew, her heart aching. "Jasper, you say this kid isn't yours?"

Lily frowned, looking at the boy named Liam again. Was he really not related to the Foster family?

"Yes, I'm sure."

Jasper answered Lily calmly, "If you want me to acknowledge this kid, you have to leave him with me. I'll take him to several top DNA testing centers.

"Only with solid proof will I admit I might have made a mistake one drunken night. Otherwise, anyone accusing me of cheating without evidence, I'll sue for defamation."

Jasper's words were clear and firm.

The hall gradually quieted down.

Lily was stunned for a moment and instinctively looked at Molly beside her. "What do you think?"

Molly narrowed her eyes. So Jasper was playing this game.

Not acknowledging Bennett as his son, not admitting to cheating.

Unless Bennett stayed with him and went through DNA tests, otherwise, she was defaming him, and he would sue her.

Since Jasper had said this, if she opposed it now, it would really make people think she was defaming him, and Bennett wasn't his son!

But if she really handed Bennett over to him and Bennett's mind wasn't strong enough, he would be influenced by them and regain his memory.

She would only have Sebastian left as a card to play.

Jasper wouldn't care about Sebastian.

Molly narrowed her eyes tightly.

The dilemma Jasper had given her would leave her at a disadvantage no matter what she chose.

She hesitated for a moment, then finally took a deep breath and smiled. "Then let Liam stay with Jasper. I also look forward to seeing what your DNA test results will be."

She bet that Bennett wouldn't be easily influenced or quickly regain his memory in a short time.

Even if he did regain his memory, he wouldn't ignore Sebastian.

Jasper narrowed his eyes, looking calmly at Molly's face. "Then thank you for your cooperation, Miss Collins. I'll let you know when the test results are out."

Molly chuckled, "But I have a condition."

She glanced at Bennett beside her, then at Blake and Lauren in the distance. "I request to visit Liam at Blue Bay every three days. After all, he is my son. If I don't see him for a long time, I'll be sad."

Jasper narrowed his eyes, "Okay."

"Then it's settled." Molly sneered, squatted down to hug Bennett, and whispered, "Remember what I told you before. If you want Sebastian to live or reunite with his family, do everything I say. I'll come to Blue Bay every three days to give you tasks, got it?"

Bennett silently nodded, reached out to gently hug Molly, and earnestly said, "Mother, if I'm not by your side and you get angry with no one to vent to, just take it out on the toys in my room. Don't forget to take your medicine and get enough sleep."

His words made Molly's heart skip a beat.

After a while, she snorted coldly, "Shut up, it's not your place to worry about me!"
