Chapter 76 No Need to Call the Police

It's all over...

Bennett raised his hand to pat his forehead.

Mommy was asking him for evidence of Molly harming Lauren.

But...he had already given all of that to Jasper before.

The reason why he gave all the evidence to Jasper was not because he fully trusted Jasper, but because he was gambling.

If Jasper would use those materials against Molly, it would prove that Jasper was still trustworthy.

If he didn't do that, then it would be a lesson for him to remember for a lifetime, that Jasper wasn't worthy!

Now everything was heading in the worst direction.

But he no longer had any evidence to help Mommy prove everything.

There was no sound coming from the private box upstairs for a long time.

Molly's pounding heart finally calmed down.

She looked arrogantly at Adeline, "Bluffing. What you said is just your speculation! Without evidence, you're defaming me. I can totally sue you for slander!"

Adeline stood there, watching Molly's triumphant expression, her hands clenched tightly into fists by her sides.

Her heart ached and felt uneasy.

But there was nothing she could do.

Bennett didn't show up, presumably because the evidence had gone wrong.

Jasper was clearly siding with Molly.

Today, Lauren's identity was revealed, and she would no longer stay in Blue Bay to protect Lauren.

If she didn't let everyone see Molly's true colors today, she was really worried...

With these thoughts in mind, the woman raised her eyes, staring fiercely at Molly's face, "Don't get too cocky."

"I am cocky," Molly sneered.

"Although the jewelry I gave to Grandma Foster was fake, that was my mistake, but my intentions were good."

"I wanted to buy this set of jewelry from Mr. Torres, but he asked for an exorbitant price. So, I had to settle for an imitation to please the old lady."

"Just because I made a mistake doesn't mean you can accuse me of attempting murder, right?"

"Accusing me of murder, of plotting against my own niece, show me the evidence!"

"If you can't provide any evidence, then you're just spouting nonsense!"

"Don't think that just because you worked as a maid in Blue Bay for a month, you have the right to defame me!"

As soon as these words were spoken, everyone present suddenly realized.

So, it turned out this maid was a woman who had worked in Blue Bay for only a month and was trying to tarnish someone's reputation.

Some sharp-eyed individuals even recognized her, "Isn't she the woman who was photographed shopping with Mr. Foster last time?"

"It seems like she wanted to get close to Mr. Foster but failed, so she took it out on Miss Collins."

"She's quite pretty, but so malicious..."

Adeline could hear the murmurs of the people below the stage clearly.

She clenched her teeth tightly, trying her best not to let these voices affect her.

But how could she not be affected?

She didn't expect that six years later, she would still lose to Molly.

Just like six years ago, it was because of Jasper's failure.

"I have evidence."

Just as Adeline closed her eyes in despair, a clear and crisp child's voice came through the sound system.

Adeline instantly opened her eyes.

This voice...

Blake!

He actually remotely controlled the venue's computer equipment?

"Miss Collins, don't think your actions are flawless."

The young boy's voice was calm and indifferent, just like Jasper's.

After a moment, the backstage computer connected to the large screen on stage, revealing an unfamiliar desktop.

In the private box on the second floor, Bennett slapped his thigh, "At crucial moments, it's always my brother!"

He quickly stood up excitedly, "Tim, Tom, come with me!"

The two bodyguards who were eating were taken aback, "Boss, where are we going?" "To protect the computer backstage! It would be disastrous if someone unplugged the power!"

Tim and Tom quickly followed, "The boss is right!"

Blake, who had been eavesdropping remotely, heard Bennett's words as well.

He chuckled lightly, "At least you have scruples."

Bennett smirked, picking up the necklace around his neck, "After all, I made a grave mistake and didn't know how to handle it. You saved me, Blake!"

"Only you would trust that scumbag."

After chatting with Bennett, Blake turned his head and glanced at the large screen showing the venue in the surveillance footage.

On the screen, the computer interface was completely under his control.

The little guy took a deep breath and opened the video on the desktop. "This is the recording and invoice of Molly Collins' first transaction with the amusement park staff."

The recording started playing, and the invoice was opened as well.

"This wretched girl's life is worth five million dollars."

"And add the maid's, fifty thousand dollars, making it a total of five million and fifty thousand dollars. Make sure this job is done beautifully."

The people present couldn't help but gasp in astonishment.

Who said Molly had no money!

Who said Molly couldn't afford outrageously priced genuine jewelry!

She wasn't broke!

Rather, she had spent all her money buying lives!

Molly stood on stage, her once proud smile freezing on her face.

She bit her lip and quickly rushed to the power source, wanting everything to stop.

However, before she could unplug the power, a tall and burly bodyguard stopped her!

"Miss Collins, feeling nervous now?"

A cold voice came through the speakers, "I have something juicier here."

After speaking, Blake continued to play more recordings and invoices.

There were recordings of her hiring someone to spy on Adeline and Jasper, and of her hiring someone to start the fire in an attempt to kill Lauren and Adeline.

There was even...

"Sir, I know you're the producer of our crew. Actually, I really wanted to sleep with you, but Jasper wouldn't allow it."

"If he allowed, I would have fulfilled my wish long ago, and I would've gotten that role..."

Every audio clip, every invoice, was like a bomb.

The audience in the venue were shocked time and time again.

The news became more and more explosive.

Who would have thought that just attending a birthday banquet could lead to witnessing the drama of the year!

Derek, who had been holding onto Lauren, sneered coldly and gave Jasper an icy glance, "Is this the fiancée you're fiercely protecting?"

"Someone call the police!"

"If Miss Collins doesn't experience the suffering of imprisonment, she won't understand the value of life for the Foster family!"

Grandma Foster, who was nearby, had an unpleasant expression, "Molly, you really... you really disgust me!"

Seeing that nobody had called the police yet, Derek furrowed his brows and said, "What are you all waiting for? Call the police!"

Someone timidly took out their phone.

But before they could dial, Jasper casually waved his hand to stop them.

"There's no need to call the police."

"Even at this point, Mr. Foster still wants to protect Molly?"

Adeline stood beside them, looking at Jasper with a cold smile, "It seems that Mr. Foster and Miss Collins have a deep affection for each other."

"Even if

"Are you still going to let her go, even though she explicitly stated that she wants to kill your own daughter?"

"Then why don't you send Lauren back to her mother's side? At least there, someone cares about her well-being."

"And you and Miss Collins don't have to call off the engagement either. One ruthless and heartless, the other unable to distinguish right from wrong–aren't you perfect for each other?"
