"Are you willing to let Adeline be manipulated by her?"
"Give me five billion dollars, and I'll help."
Oliver laughed coldly.
"Five billion dollars? Are you out of your mind?"
Daisy smirked, not backing down.
"Isn't Adeline's reputation and innocence worth five billion dollars?"
"Who else has the time to follow Tamsin and Adeline every day and help you solve problems?"
Oliver's lips curled into a cold smile.
"So I've decided to go find Adeline now and explain everything to her, saving myself five billion dollars."
With that, he hung up the phone.
Listening to the dial tone, Daisy bit her lip hard.

For six years, Oliver had never wanted to talk about what happened six years ago.

Daisy narrowed her eyes.

"Tamsin was involved in what happened back then too."
